Apiádate, Señor, de nosotros, pues siempre hemos esperado en ti; sé nuestra fortaleza desde la mañana y la salvación nuestra en el tiempo de tribulación.
¡AY de ti, el que saqueas, y nunca fuiste saqueado; el que haces deslealtad, bien que nadie contra ti la hizo! Cuando acabares de saquear, serás tú saqueado; y cuando acabares de hacer deslealtad, haráse contra ti.
Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
Woe to you who destroy, but you weren’t destroyed, and who betray, but nobody betrayed you! When you have finished destroying, you will be destroyed; and when you have finished betrayal, you will be betrayed.
A la voz del ángel huyeron los pueblos; y al alzar tu brazo quedaron disipadas las naciones enemigas.
Oh Jehová, ten misericordia de nosotros, á ti hemos esperado: tú, brazo de ellos en la mañana, sé también nuestra salud en tiempo de la tribulación.
O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.
LORD, be gracious to us. We have waited for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.
Pueblos orgullosos, vuestros despojos serán recogidos, como se recogen las langostas, cuando hay tanta abundancia que se llenan de ellas los fosos.
Los pueblos huyeron á la voz del estruendo; las gentes fueron esparcidas por tus levantamientos.
At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.
At the noise of the thunder, the peoples have fled. When you lift yourself up, the nations are scattered.
Engrandecido ha sido el Señor, que habita en lo alto, ha colmado a Sión de rectitud y de justicia.
Mas vuestra presa será cogida como cuando cogen las orugas: correrá sobre ellos como de una á otra parte corren las langostas.
And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpiller: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.
Your plunder will be gathered as the caterpillar gathers. Men will leap on it as locusts leap.
Y reinará la fe en tus tiempos, ¡oh príncipe!; la sabiduría y la ciencia son tus riquezas saludables, y el temor del Señor tu verdadero tesoro.
Será ensalzado Jehová, el cual mora en las alturas: llenó á Sión de juicio y de justicia.
The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.
The LORD is exalted, for he dwells on high. He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness.
Pero he aquí que desde afuera gritarán los que vean venir a los enemigos. Llorarán amargamente los ángeles o embajadores encargados de la paz.
Y reinarán en tus tiempos la sabiduría y la ciencia, y la fuerza de la salvación: el temor de Jehová será su tesoro.
And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.
There will be stability in your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the LORD is your treasure.
Desiertos están los caminos, ni un caminante se ve por las sendas; ha roto el enemigo la alianza, ha arruinado las ciudades, en nada estima a los hombres.
He aquí que sus embajadores darán voces afuera; los mensajeros de paz llorarán amargamente.
Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.
Behold, their valiant ones cry outside; the ambassadors of peace weep bitterly.
En llanto está todo el país, y en lo sumo del abatimiento; cubierto de oprobio y envilecido el Líbano; el Sarón convertido en un páramo; el Basán y el Carmelo talados.
Las calzadas están deshechas, cesaron los caminantes: anulado ha la alianza, aborreció las ciudades, tuvo en nada los hombres.
The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.
The highways are desolate. The traveling man ceases. The covenant is broken. He has despised the cities. He doesn’t respect man.
Mas ahora me levantaré yo, dice el Señor, ahora seré ensalzado, ahora seré glorificado.
Enlutóse, enfermó la tierra: el Líbano se avergonzó, y fué cortado: hase tornado Sarón como desierto; y Basán y Carmel fueron sacudidos.
The earth mourneth and languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.
The land mourns and languishes. Lebanon is confounded and withers away. Sharon is like a desert, and Bashan and Carmel are stripped bare.
Naciones orgullosas vosotras concebiréis fogosos designios contra mi pueblo; y el resultado será no más que paja; vuestro mismo espíritu cual fuego os devorará.
Ahora me levantaré, dice Jehová; ahora seré ensalzado, ahora seré engrandecido.
Now will I rise, saith the LORD; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.
“Now I will arise,” says the LORD. “Now I will lift myself up. Now I will be exalted.
Y quedarán estos pueblos como la ceniza después de un incendio; como haces de espinas serán pábulo de las llamas.
Concebisteis hojarascas, aristas pariréis: el soplo de vuestro fuego os consumirá.
Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as fire, shall devour you.
You will conceive chaff. You will give birth to stubble. Your breath is a fire that will devour you.
Vosotros, los que estáis lejos, escuchad las cosas que he hecho yo, y aprended a conocer mi poder los que estáis cerca.
Y los pueblos serán como cal quemada: como espinas cortadas serán quemados con fuego.
And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.
The peoples will be like the burning of lime, like thorns that are cut down and burned in the fire.
Aterrados han sido de Sión los pecadores; y el temblor se ha apoderado de los hipócritas. ¿Quién de vosotros podrá habitar en un fuego devorador? ¿Quién de vosotros podrá morar entre los ardores sempiternos?
Oid, los que estáis lejos, lo que he hecho; y vosotros los cercanos, conoced mi potencia.
Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge my might.
Hear, you who are far off, what I have done; and, you who are near, acknowledge my might.”
Aquel que anda por las sendas de la justicia y habla verdad, que aborrece las riquezas adquiridas con la calumnia o extorsión, y tiene limpias sus manos de todo cohecho; que tapa sus orejas para no prestar oídos a los sanguinarios, y cierra sus ojos por no ver lo malo.
Los pecadores se asombraron en Sión, espanto sobrecogió á los hipócritas. ¿Quién de nosotros morará con el fuego consumidor? ¿quién de nosotros habitará con las llamas eternas?
The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
The sinners in Zion are afraid. Trembling has seized the godless ones. Who among us can live with the devouring fire? Who among us can live with everlasting burning?
Este es el que tendrá su morada en las alturas; vivirá seguro como en una alta roca; tendrá pan en abundancia, y nunca le faltará el agua.
El que camina en justicia, y habla lo recto; el que aborrece la ganancia de violencias, el que sacude sus manos por no recibir cohecho, el que tapa su oreja por no oir sangres, el que cierra sus ojos por no ver cosa mala:
He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
He who walks righteously and speaks blamelessly, he who despises the gain of oppressions, who gestures with his hands, refusing to take a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, and shuts his eyes from looking at evil—
Sus ojos verán al rey de los cielos en su gloria; y la tierra la mirarán lejos de ellos.
Este habitará en las alturas: fortalezas de rocas serán su lugar de acogimiento; se le dará su pan, y sus aguas serán ciertas.
He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.
he will dwell on high. His place of defense will be the fortress of rocks. His bread will be supplied. His waters will be sure.
Entonces tu corazón hará memoria de sus pasados temores. ¿Dónde está, dirá él, el letrado? ¿Dónde el orgulloso que pesaba las palabras de la ley? ¿Dónde el maestro de niños?
Tus ojos verán al Rey en su hermosura; verán la tierra que está lejos.
Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.
Your eyes will see the king in his beauty. They will see a distant land.
No verás ya, ¡oh príncipe! un pueblo descarado, un pueblo de un hablar oscuro, cuya algarabía de lenguaje no puedas entender, el cual carece de toda sabiduría.
Tu corazón imaginará el espanto, y dirá: ¿Qué es del escriba? ¿qué del pesador? ¿qué del que pone en lista las casas más insignes?
Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?
Your heart will meditate on the terror. Where is he who counted? Where is he who weighed? Where is he who counted the towers?
Vuelve la vista a Sión, ciudad donde se celebran nuestras solemnidades; tus ojos verán a Jerusalén , mansión opulenta; un tabernáculo o pabellón que no podrá ser trasladado a otra parte, pues ni las estacas serán jamás arrancadas, ni se romperá ninguna de sus cuerdas.
No verás á aquel pueblo espantable, pueblo de lengua oscura de entender, de lengua tartamuda que no comprendas.
Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand.
You will no longer see the fierce people, a people of a deep speech that you can’t comprehend, with a strange language that you can’t understand.
Porque allí solamente hace nuestro Señor alarde de su magnificiencia. Aquel es lugar de ríos, de ríos anchísimos y caudalosos; no pasará por el barco de remos de ningún enemigo ni menos lo surcará galera grande de tres órdenes de remos.
Mira á Sión, ciudad de nuestras solemnidades: tus ojos verán á Jerusalem, morada de quietud, tienda que no será desarmada, ni serán arrancadas sus estacas, ni ninguna de sus cuerdas será rota.
Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.
Look at Zion, the city of our appointed festivals. Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a quiet habitation, a tent that won’t be removed. Its stakes will never be plucked up, nor will any of its cords be broken.
Pues el Señor es nuestro juez, el Señor nuestro legislador, el Señor nuestro rey; él es el que nos ha de salvar.
Porque ciertamente allí será Jehová para con nosotros fuerte, lugar de ríos, de arroyos muy anchos, por el cual no andará galera, ni por él pasará grande navío.
But there the glorious LORD will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.
But there the LORD will be with us in majesty, a place of wide rivers and streams, in which no galley with oars will go, neither will any gallant ship pass by there.
Se aflojaron, ¡oh nave orgullosa! tus cables, y ya no servirán; quedará tan mal parado tu mástil, que no podrás desplegar una bandera. Entonces se repartirán los despojos, y el gran botín que habías hecho; hasta los cojos se llevarán parte de él.
Porque Jehová es nuestro juez, Jehová es nuestro legislador, Jehová es nuestro Rey, él mismo nos salvará.
For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.

Y no dirá el vecino: Soy yo débil para llevarlo; y el pueblo que morará allí recibirá el perdón de sus pecados.
Tus cuerdas se aflojaron; no afirmaron su mástil, ni entesaron la vela: repartiráse entonces presa de muchos despojos: los cojos arrebatarán presa.
Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.
Your rigging is untied. They couldn’t strengthen the foot of their mast. They couldn’t spread the sail. Then the prey of a great plunder was divided. The lame took the prey.
Venid acá, oh naciones, y escuchad; pueblos, estad atentos; oiga la tierra y toda su población; la tierra toda y cuanto en ella vive.
No dirá el morador: Estoy enfermo: el pueblo que morare en ella será absuelto de pecado.
And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.
The inhabitant won’t say, “I am sick.” The people who dwell therein will be forgiven their iniquity.
