Wehe dir, Verwüster. Und der du nicht bist verwüstet worden, und dir, Treuloser, den sie nicht treulos behandelt haben. Wenn du zu Ende mit Verwüsten bist, wirst du verwüstet werden. Wenn du deine Treulosigkeit zu Ende hast gebracht, wird man auch dich treulos behandeln.
¡AY de ti, el que saqueas, y nunca fuiste saqueado; el que haces deslealtad, bien que nadie contra ti la hizo! Cuando acabares de saquear, serás tú saqueado; y cuando acabares de hacer deslealtad, haráse contra ti.
Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
Woe to you who destroy, but you weren’t destroyed, and who betray, but nobody betrayed you! When you have finished destroying, you will be destroyed; and when you have finished betrayal, you will be betrayed.

Mas vuestra presa será cogida como cuando cogen las orugas: correrá sobre ellos como de una á otra parte corren las langostas.
And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpiller: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.
Your plunder will be gathered as the caterpillar gathers. Men will leap on it as locusts leap.

Und die Wahrheit deiner Zeiten wird die Festigkeit sein des Heils, der Weisheit und der Kenntnis, und die Furcht Jehovahs wird sein Schatz sein.
Y reinarán en tus tiempos la sabiduría y la ciencia, y la fuerza de la salvación: el temor de Jehová será su tesoro.
And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.

Wüste sind die Landstraßen, es feiert, der auf dem Pfade vorübergeht; den Bund macht er zunichte, verschmäht die Städte, achtet nicht des Menschen.
Las calzadas están deshechas, cesaron los caminantes: anulado ha la alianza, aborreció las ciudades, tuvo en nada los hombres.
The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.
The highways are desolate. The traveling man ceases. The covenant is broken. He has despised the cities. He doesn’t respect man.
Das Land trauert, verschmachtet; es errötet der Libanon, er versiecht. Der Scharon ist wie die Einöde, und der Baschan und der Karmel entblättern sich.
Enlutóse, enfermó la tierra: el Líbano se avergonzó, y fué cortado: hase tornado Sarón como desierto; y Basán y Carmel fueron sacudidos.
The earth mourneth and languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.
The land mourns and languishes. Lebanon is confounded and withers away. Sharon is like a desert, and Bashan and Carmel are stripped bare.

You will conceive chaff. You will give birth to stubble. Your breath is a fire that will devour you.
Und die Völker werden zu Kalk verbrannt, sind abgehauene Dornen, die zum Feuer angezündet werden.
Y los pueblos serán como cal quemada: como espinas cortadas serán quemados con fuego.
And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.
The peoples will be like the burning of lime, like thorns that are cut down and burned in the fire.

In Zion schauert es den Sündern, Beben ergreift die Heuchler. Wer weilt uns bei dem fressenden Feuer? Wer weilt uns bei dem ewigen Glutherd?
Los pecadores se asombraron en Sión, espanto sobrecogió á los hipócritas. ¿Quién de nosotros morará con el fuego consumidor? ¿quién de nosotros habitará con las llamas eternas?
The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
The sinners in Zion are afraid. Trembling has seized the godless ones. Who among us can live with the devouring fire? Who among us can live with everlasting burning?
Wer in Gerechtigkeit wandelt und redet Geradheit, verschmäht, durch Plackereien zu gewinnen, schüttelt seine Hände, daß sie nicht Geschenke erhalten, sein Ohr verstopft, daß er von Blut nicht hört, seine Augen zudrückt, daß sie Böses nicht sehen,
El que camina en justicia, y habla lo recto; el que aborrece la ganancia de violencias, el que sacude sus manos por no recibir cohecho, el que tapa su oreja por no oir sangres, el que cierra sus ojos por no ver cosa mala:
He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
He who walks righteously and speaks blamelessly, he who despises the gain of oppressions, who gestures with his hands, refusing to take a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, and shuts his eyes from looking at evil—
Der wird auf den Höhen wohnen, und Festen der Felsenklippe sind seine Burgfeste, sein Brot wird ihm gegeben, sein Wasser ist ihm gewiß.
Este habitará en las alturas: fortalezas de rocas serán su lugar de acogimiento; se le dará su pan, y sus aguas serán ciertas.
He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.

Den König in Seiner Schönheit werden deine Augen erschauen, sie werden sehen das Land der Fernen.
Tus ojos verán al Rey en su hermosura; verán la tierra que está lejos.
Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.

Dein Herz wird sinnen über den Schrekken. Wo ist er, der da zählt? Wo, der da darwägt? Wo, der die Türme zählt?

Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?

Das bestärkte Volk siehst du nicht, das Volk von tiefen Lippen, daß man es nicht hören kann, von stammelnder Zunge, daß man es nicht versteht.
No verás á aquel pueblo espantable, pueblo de lengua oscura de entender, de lengua tartamuda que no comprendas.
Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand.
You will no longer see the fierce people, a people of a deep speech that you can’t comprehend, with a strange language that you can’t understand.
Erschaue Zion, die Stadt unserer Festversammlung, deine Augen sehen Jerusalem, den sorglosen Wohnort, das Zelt, das nicht fortwandert, dessen Pflöcke nimmermehr aufgezogen werden und von dessen Seile keines abgerissen wird.
Mira á Sión, ciudad de nuestras solemnidades: tus ojos verán á Jerusalem, morada de quietud, tienda que no será desarmada, ni serán arrancadas sus estacas, ni ninguna de sus cuerdas será rota.
Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.
Look at Zion, the city of our appointed festivals. Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a quiet habitation, a tent that won’t be removed. Its stakes will never be plucked up, nor will any of its cords be broken.
Denn der herrliche Jehovah ist daselbst bei uns, ein Ort der Flüsse, der Ströme, weit von Räumen, nicht geht darin ein Fahrzeug mit Rudern und ein stattlich Schiff fährt nicht da durch.
Porque ciertamente allí será Jehová para con nosotros fuerte, lugar de ríos, de arroyos muy anchos, por el cual no andará galera, ni por él pasará grande navío.
But there the glorious LORD will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.

Denn Jehovah ist unser Richter, Jehovah unser Gesetzgeber, Jehovah unser König, Er rettet uns.

Losgelassen sind deine Seile, nicht stärken sie ihres Mastes Gestell, sie breiten nicht aus das Segel. Dann teilt man der vielen Beute Plunder; die Hinkenden rauben den Raub.
Tus cuerdas se aflojaron; no afirmaron su mástil, ni entesaron la vela: repartiráse entonces presa de muchos despojos: los cojos arrebatarán presa.
Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.
Your rigging is untied. They couldn’t strengthen the foot of their mast. They couldn’t spread the sail. Then the prey of a great plunder was divided. The lame took the prey.
Und keiner, der da wohnt wird sagen: Ich bin krank. Dem Volk, das drinnen wohnt, ist die Missetat verziehen.
No dirá el morador: Estoy enfermo: el pueblo que morare en ella será absuelto de pecado.
And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.
The inhabitant won’t say, “I am sick.” The people who dwell therein will be forgiven their iniquity.
