Suchet nun in dem Buch des HERRN und leset! Es wird nicht an einem derselbigen fehlen; man vermißt auch nicht dieses noch des. Denn er ist's, der durch meinen Mund gebeut, und sein Geist ist's, der es zusammenbringet.

En sus alcázares crecerán espinas, y ortigas y cardos en sus fortalezas; y serán morada de chacales, patio para los pollos de los avestruces.

And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls.

Thorns will come up in its palaces, nettles and thistles in its fortresses; and it will be a habitation of jackals, a court for ostriches.
