Y envió después él mismo a Rabsaces su general, desde Laquís a Jerusalén con un grueso cuerpo de tropas contra el rey Ezequías ; y Rabsaces puso su acampamento en el acueducto del estanque superior, en el camino del campo del Batanero.

ACONTECIÓ en el año catorce del rey Ezechîas, que Sennachêrib rey de Asiria subió contra todas las ciudades fuertes de Judá, y tomólas.

Now it came to pass in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah, that Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the defenced cities of Judah, and took them.

Now in the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah, Sennacherib king of Assyria attacked all of the fortified cities of Judah and captured them.
