Isaías 36

Und es begab sich, im vierzehnten Jahr des Konigs Hiskia zog der Konig zu Assyrien, Sanherib, herauf wider alle festen Stadte Judas und gewann sie.

ACONTECIÓ en el año catorce del rey Ezechîas, que Sennachêrib rey de Asiria subió contra todas las ciudades fuertes de Judá, y tomólas.

Now it came to pass in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah, that Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the defenced cities of Judah, and took them.

Now in the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah, Sennacherib king of Assyria attacked all of the fortified cities of Judah and captured them.

Und der Konig zu Assyrien sandte den Rabsake von Lachis gen Jerusalem zu dem Konige Hiskia mit grower Macht. Und er trat an die Wasserrohren des obern Teichs am Wege bei dem Acker des Farbers.

Y el rey de Asiria envió á Rabsaces con grande ejército desde Lachîs á Jerusalem al rey Ezechîas: y asentó el campo á los caños de la pesquera de arriba, en el camino de la heredad del Lavador.

And the king of Assyria sent Rabshakeh from Lachish to Jerusalem unto king Hezekiah with a great army. And he stood by the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller’s field.

The king of Assyria sent Rabshakeh from Lachish to Jerusalem to King Hezekiah with a large army. He stood by the aqueduct from the upper pool in the fuller’s field highway.

Und es ging zu ihm heraus Eliakim, der Sohn Hilkias, der Hofmeister, und Sebena, der Kanzler, und Joah, der Sohn Assaphs, der Schreiber.

Y salió á él Eliacim hijo de Hilcías mayordomo, y Sebna, escriba, y Joah hijo de Asaph, canciller.

Then came forth unto him Eliakim, Hilkiah’s son, which was over the house, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah, Asaph’s son, the recorder.

Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah, the son of Asaph the recorder came out to him.

Und der Erzschenke sprach zu ihnen: Saget doch dem Hiskia: So spricht der grofie Konig, der Konig zu Assyrien: Was ist das fur ein Trotz, darauf du dich verlassest?

A los cuales dijo Rabsaces: Ahora pues, diréis á Ezechîas: El gran rey, el rey de Asiria, dice así: ¿Qué confianza es ésta en que confías?

And Rabshakeh said unto them, Say ye now to Hezekiah, Thus saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence is this wherein thou trustest?

Rabshakeh said to them, “Now tell Hezekiah, ‘The great king, the king of Assyria, says, “What confidence is this in which you trust?

Ich achte, du lassest dich bereden, daß du noch Rat und Macht wissest zu streiten. Auf wen verlassest du denn dich, daß du mir bist abfallig worden?

Digo, alegas tú, (empero palabras vanas) que tengo consejo y fortaleza para la guerra. Ahora bien, ¿en quién confías que te rebelas contra mí?

I say, sayest thou, (but they are but vain words) I have counsel and strength for war: now on whom dost thou trust, that thou rebellest against me?

I say that your counsel and strength for the war are only vain words. Now in whom do you trust, that you have rebelled against me?

Verlassest du dich auf den zerbrochenen Rohrstab Agypten, welcher, so jemand sich darauf lehnet, gehet er ihm in die Hand und durchbohret sie? Also tut Pharao, der Konig zu Agypten, alien, die sich auf ihn verlassen.

He aquí que confías en este bordón de caña frágil, en Egipto, sobre el cual si alguien se apoyare, entrarásele por la mano, y se la atravesará. Tal es Faraón rey de Egipto para con todos los que en él confían.

Lo, thou trustest in the staff of this broken reed, on Egypt; whereon if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all that trust in him.

Behold, you trust in the staff of this bruised reed, even in Egypt, which if a man leans on it, it will go into his hand and pierce it. So is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who trust in him.

Willst du aber mir sagen: Wir verlassen uns auf den HERRN, unsern Gott? Ist's denn nicht der, welches Hohen und Altare der Hiskia hat abgetan und zu Juda und Jerusalem gesagt: Vor diesem Altar sollt ihr anbeten?

Y si me dijeres, En Jehová nuestro Dios confiamos; ¿no es éste aquel cuyos altos y cuyos altares hizo quitar Ezechîas, y dijo á Judá y á Jerusalem: Delante de este altar adoraréis?

But if thou say to me, We trust in the LORD our God: is it not he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar?

But if you tell me, ‘We trust in the LORD our God,’ isn’t that he whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away, and has said to Judah and to Jerusalem, ‘You shall worship before this altar’?”

Wohlan, so nimm's an mit meinem Herm, dem Konige zu Assyrien! Ich will dir zweitausend Rosse geben; laft sehen, ob du bei dir konnest ausrichten, die darauf reiten.

Ahora pues yo te ruego que des rehenes al rey de Asiria mi señor, y yo te daré dos mil caballos, si pudieres tú dar caballeros que cabalguen sobre ellos.

Now therefore give pledges, I pray thee, to my master the king of Assyria, and I will give thee two thousand horses, if thou be able on thy part to set riders upon them.

Now therefore, please make a pledge to my master the king of Assyria, and I will give you two thousand horses, if you are able on your part to set riders on them.

Wie willst du denn bleiben vor einem Hauptmann, der geringsten Diener einem meines Herm? Und du verlassest dich auf Agypten urn der Wagen und Reiter willen.

¿Cómo pues harás volver el rostro de un capitán de los más pequeños siervos de mi señor, aunque estés confiado en Egipto por sus carros y hombres de á caballo?

How then wilt thou turn away the face of one captain of the least of my master’s servants, and put thy trust on Egypt for chariots and for horsemen?

How then can you turn away the face of one captain of the least of my master’s servants, and put your trust in Egypt for chariots and for horsemen?

Dazu meinest du, daß ich ohne den HERRN bin heraufgezogen in dies Land, dasselbige zu verderben? Ja, der HERR sprach zu mir: Zeuch hinauf in dies Land und verderbe es!

¿Y por ventura vine yo ahora á esta tierra para destruirla sin Jehová? Jehová me dijo: Sube á esta tierra para destruirla.

And am I now come up without the LORD against this land to destroy it? the LORD said unto me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.

Have I come up now without the LORD against this land to destroy it? The LORD said to me, “Go up against this land, and destroy it.”’”

Aber Eliakim und Sebena und Joah sprachen zum Erzschenken: Lieber, rede mit deinen Knechten auf syrisch, denn wir verstehen's wohl; und rede nicht auf judisch mit uns vor den Ohren des Volks, das auf der Mauer ist.

Entonces dijo Eliacim, y Sebna y Joah á Rabsaces: Rogámoste que hables á tus siervos en lengua siriaca, porque nosotros la entendemos: y no hables con nosotros en lengua judáica, oyéndolo el pueblo que está sobre el muro.

Then said Eliakim and Shebna and Joah unto Rabshakeh, Speak, I pray thee, unto thy servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it: and speak not to us in the Jews’ language, in the ears of the people that are on the wall.

Then Eliakim, Shebna and Joah said to Rabshakeh, “Please speak to your servants in Aramaic, for we understand it. Don’t speak to us in the Jews’ language in the hearing of the people who are on the wall.”

Da sprach der Erzschenke: Meinest du, daß mein Herr mich zu deinem Herm Oder zu dir gesandt habe, solche Worte zu reden, und nicht vielmehr zu den Mannern, die auf der Mauer sitzen, daß sie samt euch ihren eigenen Mist fressen und ihren Ham saufen?

Y dijo Rabsaces: ¿Envióme mi señor á ti y á tu señor, á que dijese estas palabras, y no á los hombres que están sobre el muro, para comer su estiércol y beber su orina con vosotros?

But Rabshakeh said, Hath my master sent me to thy master and to thee to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men that sit upon the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?

But Rabshakeh said, “Has my master sent me only to your master and to you, to speak these words, and not to the men who sit on the wall, who will eat their own dung and drink their own urine with you?”

Und der Erzschenke stund und rief laut auf judisch und sprach: Horet die Worte des grolien Konigs, des Konigs zu Assyrien!

Púsose luego en pie Rabsaces, y gritó á grande voz en lengua judáica, diciendo: Oid las palabras del gran rey, el rey de Asiria.

Then Rabshakeh stood, and cried with a loud voice in the Jews’ language, and said, Hear ye the words of the great king, the king of Assyria.

Then Rabshakeh stood, and called out with a loud voice in the Jews’ language, and said, “Hear the words of the great king, the king of Assyria!

So spricht der Konig: Lafit euch Hiskia nicht betrugen; denn er kann euch nicht erretten.

El rey dice así: No os engañe Ezechîas, porque no os podrá librar.

Thus saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you.

The king says, ‘Don’t let Hezekiah deceive you; for he will not be able to deliver you.

Und lalit euch Hiskia nicht vertrosten auf den HERRN, daß ersagt: Der HERR wird uns erretten, und diese Stadt wird nicht in die Hand des Konigs zu Assyrien gegeben werden.

Ni os haga Ezechîas confiar en Jehová, diciendo: Ciertamente Jehová nos librará: no será entregada esta ciudad en manos del rey de Asiria.

Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us: this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.

Don’t let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, “The LORD will surely deliver us. This city won’t be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”’

Gehorchet Hiskia nicht! Denn so spricht der Konig zu Assyrien: T ut mir zu Danke und gehet zu mir heraus, so sollt ihr ein jeglicher von seinem Weinstock und von seinem Feigenbaum essen und aus seinem Brunnen trinken,

No escuchéis á Ezechîas: porque el rey de Asiria dice así: Haced conmigo paz, y salid á mí; y coma cada uno de su viña, y cada uno de su higuera, y beba cada cual las aguas de su pozo;

Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me: and eat ye every one of his vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his own cistern;

Don’t listen to Hezekiah, for the king of Assyria says, ‘Make your peace with me, and come out to me; and each of you eat from his vine, and each one from his fig tree, and each one of you drink the waters of his own cistern;

bis dafi ich komme und hole euch in ein Land, wie euer Land ist, ein Land, da Korn und Most innen ist, ein Land, da Brot und Weinberge innen sind.

Hasta que yo venga y os lleve á una tierra como la vuestra, tierra de grano y de vino, tierra de pan y de viñas.

Until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards.

until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards.

Lalit euch Hiskia nicht bereden, daß ersagt: Der HERR wird uns erlosen. Haben auch der Heiden Gotter ein jeglicher sein Land errettet von der Hand des Konigs zu Assyrien?

Mirad no os engañe Ezechîas diciendo: Jehová nos librará. ¿Libraron los dioses de las gentes cada uno á su tierra de la mano del rey de Asiria?

Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, The LORD will deliver us. Hath any of the gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, “The LORD will deliver us.” Have any of the gods of the nations delivered their lands from the hand of the king of Assyria?

Wo sind die Gotter zu Hamath und Arpad? Wo sind die Gotter zu Sepharvaim? Haben sie auch Samaria errettet von meiner Hand?

¿Dónde está el dios de Hamath y de Arphad? ¿dónde está el dios de Sepharvaim? ¿libraron á Samaria de mi mano?

Where are the gods of Hamath and Arphad? where are the gods of Sepharvaim? and have they delivered Samaria out of my hand?

Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim? Have they delivered Samaria from my hand?

Welcher unter alien Gottern dieser Lande hat sein Land errettet von meiner Hand, daß der HERR sollte Jerusalem erretten von meiner Hand?

¿Qué dios hay entre los dioses de estas tierras, que haya librado su tierra de mi mano, para que Jehová libre de mi mano á Jerusalem?

Who are they among all the gods of these lands, that have delivered their land out of my hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?

Who are they among all the gods of these countries that have delivered their country out of my hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?’”

Sie schwiegen aber stille und antworteten ihm nichts; denn der Konig hatte geboten und gesagt: Antwortet ihm nichts!

Mas callaron, y no le respondieron palabra; porque el rey así lo había mandado, diciendo: No le respondáis.

But they held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the king’s commandment was, saying, Answer him not.

But they remained silent, and said nothing in reply, for the king’s commandment was, “Don’t answer him.”

Da kamen Eliakim, der Sohn Hilkias, der Hofmeister, und Sebena, der Kanzler, und Joah, der Sohn Assaphs, der Schreiber, mit zerrissenen Kleidern und zeigten ihm an die Worte des Erzschenken.

Entonces Eliacim hijo de Hilcías mayordomo, y Sebna escriba, y Joah hijo de Asaph canciller, vinieron á Ezechîas rotos sus vestidos, y contáronle las palabras de Rabsaces.

Then came Eliakim, the son of Hilkiah, that was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah, the son of Asaph, the recorder, to Hezekiah with their clothes rent, and told him the words of Rabshakeh.

Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah, the son of Asaph the recorder, came to Hezekiah with their clothes torn, and told him the words of Rabshakeh.
