Isaías 37

E QUANDO il re Ezechia ebbe intese queste cose, stracciò le sue vesti, e si coprì di un sacco ed entrò nella Casa del Signore.

ACONTECIÓ pues, que el rey Ezechîas, oído esto, rasgó sus vestidos, y cubierto de saco vino á la casa de Jehová.

And it came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he rent his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD.

E mandò Eliachim, mastro del palazzo, e Sebna, segretario, e i più vecchi de' sacerdoti, coperti di sacchi, al profeta Isaia, figliuolo di Amos.

Y envió á Eliacim mayordomo, y á Sebna escriba, y á los ancianos de los sacerdotes, cubiertos de sacos, á Isaías profeta, hijo de Amoz.

And he sent Eliakim, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests covered with sackcloth, unto Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.

Ed essi gli dissero: Così ha detto Ezechia: Questo è un giorno di angoscia, di rimprovero, e di bestemmia; perciocchè i figliuoli son venuti fino all'apritura della matrice, ma non vi è forza da partorire.

Los cuales le dijeron: Ezechîas dice así: Día de angustia, de reprensión y de blasfemia, es este día: porque los hijos han llegado hasta la rotura, y no hay fuerza en la que pare.

And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.

They said to him, “Hezekiah says, ‘Today is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of rejection; for the children have come to the birth, and there is no strength to give birth.

Forse che il Signore Iddio tuo avrà intese le parole di Rab-sache, il quale il re di Assiria, suo signore, ha mandato, per oltraggiar l'Iddio vivente, e per fargli rimprovero con le parole che il Signore Iddio tuo ha udite; perciò mettiti a fare orazione per lo rimanente del popolo che si ritrova.

Quizá oirá Jehová tu Dios las palabras de Rabsaces, al cual envió el rey de Asiria su señor á blasfemar al Dios vivo, y á reprender con las palabras que oyó Jehová tu Dios: alza pues oración tú por las reliquias que aun han quedado.

It may be the LORD thy God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left.

It may be the LORD your God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master has sent to defy the living God, and will rebuke the words which the LORD your God has heard. Therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.’”

Così i servitori del re Ezechia vennero ad Isaia.

Vinieron pues los siervos de Ezechîas á Isaías.

Ed Isaia disse loro: Dite così al vostro signore: Così ha detto il Signore: Non temere per le parole che tu hai udite, con le quali i servitori del re degli Assiri mi hanno oltraggiato.

Y díjoles Isaías: Diréis así á vuestro señor: Así dice Jehová: No temas por las palabras que has oído, con las cuales me han blasfemado los siervos del rey de Asiria.

And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

Isaiah said to them, “Tell your master, ‘The LORD says, “Don’t be afraid of the words that you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

Ecco, io di presente metterò un tale spirito in lui, che, avendo inteso un certo grido, egli ritornerà al suo paese, ed io ho farò cader per la spada nel suo paese.

He aquí que yo doy en él un espíritu, y oirá un rumor, y volveráse á su tierra: y yo haré que en su tierra caiga á cuchillo.

Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.

Behold, I will put a spirit in him and he will hear news, and will return to his own land. I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.”’”

Or essendosene Rab-sache ritornato, e andato a trovare il re di Assiria, che combatteva Libna (perciocchè egli avea inteso ch'egli s'era partito di Lachis);

Vuelto pues Rabsaces, halló al rey de Asiria que batía á Libna; porque ya había oído que se había apartado de Lachîs.

esso ebbe novelle di Tirhaca, re di Etiopia, che dicevano: Egli è uscito fuori per darti battaglia. Ed avendo ciò udito, mandò messi ad Ezechia, dicendo:

Mas oyendo decir de Tirhakah rey de Etiopía: He aquí que ha salido para hacerte guerra: en oyéndolo, envió mensajeros á Ezechîas, diciendo:

And he heard say concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, He is come forth to make war with thee. And when he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying,

He heard news concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, “He has come out to fight against you.” When he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying,

Dite così ad Ezechia, re di Giuda: Il tuo Dio, nel qual tu ti confidi, non t'inganni, dicendo: Gerusalemme non sarà data nelle mani del re di Assiria.

Diréis así á Ezechîas rey de Judá: No te engañe tu Dios en quien tú confías, diciendo: Jerusalem no será entregada en mano del rey de Asiria.

Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God, in whom thou trustest, deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

“Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, ‘Don’t let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, “Jerusalem won’t be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”

Ecco, tu hai inteso quello che i re degli Assiri hanno fatto a tutti gli altri paesi, distruggendoli; e tu scamperesti?

He aquí que tú oiste lo que hicieron los reyes de Asiria á todas las tierras, que las destruyeron; ¿y escaparás tú?

Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands by destroying them utterly; and shalt thou be delivered?

Gl'Iddii delle genti, che i miei padri distrussero, cioè: di Gozan, di Haran, di Resef, e de' figliuoli di Eden, che sono in Telasar, le hanno essi liberate?

¿Libraron los dioses de las gentes á los que destruyeron mis antepasados, á Gozán, y Harán, Rezeph, y á los hijos de Edén que moraban en Thelasar?

Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed, as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Telassar?

Dove è il re di Hamat, e il re di Arpad, e il re della città di Sefarvaim, di Hena, e di Ivva?

¿Dónde está el rey de Amath, y el rey de Arphad, el rey de la ciudad de Sepharvaim, de Henah, y de Hivah?

Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arphad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah?

Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arpad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, of Hena, and Ivvah?’”

Quando Ezechia ebbe ricevute quelle lettere, per mano di que' messi, e le ebbe lette, salì alla Casa del Signore, e le spiegò davanti al Signore.

Y tomó Ezechîas las cartas de mano de los mensajeros, y leyólas; y subió á la casa de Jehová, y las extendió delante de Jehová.

And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.

Ed Ezechia fece orazione al Signore, dicendo:

Entonces Ezechîas oró á Jehová, diciendo:

And Hezekiah prayed unto the LORD, saying,

O Signore degli eserciti, Iddio d'Israele, che siedi sopra i Cherubini, tu solo sei l'Iddio di tutti i regni della terra; tu hai fatto il cielo e la terra.

Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, que moras entre los querubines, sólo tú eres Dios sobre todos los reinos de la tierra; tú hiciste los cielos y la tierra.

O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.

“LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, who is enthroned among the cherubim, you are the God, even you alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

O Signore, inchina il tuo orecchio, e odi; o Signore, apri i tuoi occhi, e vedi; ed ascolta tutte le parole di Sennacherib, ch'egli ha mandate a dire, per oltraggiar l'Iddio vivente.

Inclina, oh Jehová, tu oído, y oye; abre, oh Jehová, tus ojos, y mira: y oye todas las palabras de Sennachêrib, el cual ha enviado á blasfemar al Dios viviente.

Incline thine ear, O LORD, and hear; open thine eyes, O LORD, and see: and hear all the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent to reproach the living God.

Turn your ear, LORD, and hear. Open your eyes, LORD, and behold. Hear all of the words of Sennacherib, who has sent to defy the living God.

Egli è vero, Signore, che i re degli Assiri hanno distrutti tutti que' paesi, e le lor terre;

Ciertamente, oh Jehová, los reyes de Asiria destruyeron todas las tierras y sus comarcas,

Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations, and their countries,

Truly, LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed all the countries and their land,

ed hanno gettati nel fuoco gl'iddii loro; perciocchè non erano dii, anzi opera di mani d'uomini, pietra, e legno; onde li hanno distrutti.

Y entregaron los dioses de ellos al fuego: porque no eran dioses, sino obra de manos de hombre, leño y piedra: por eso los deshicieron.

And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.

Ma ora, o Signore Iddio nostro, liberaci dalla sua mano; acciocchè tutti i regni della terra conoscano che tu solo sei il Signore.

Ahora pues, Jehová Dios nuestro, líbranos de su mano, para que todos los reinos de la tierra conozcan que sólo tú eres Jehová.

Now therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD, even thou only.

Allora Isaia, figliuolo di Amos, mandò a dire ad Ezechia: Così ha detto il Signore Iddio d'Israele: Quant'è a ciò, di che tu mi hai fatta orazione intorno a Sennacherib, re degli Assiri;

Entonces Isaías hijo de Amoz, envió á decir á Ezechîas: Jehová Dios de Israel dice así: Acerca de lo que me rogaste sobre Sennachêrib rey de Asiria,

Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Whereas thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria:

Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, “The LORD, the God of Israel says, ‘Because you have prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria,

questa è la parola, che il Signore ha pronunziata contro a lui: La vergine, figliuola di Sion, ti ha sprezzato, e ti ha beffato; la figliuola di Gerusalemme ha scossa la testa dietro a te.

Esto es lo que Jehová habló de él: Hate menospreciado, y ha hecho escarnio de ti la virgen hija de Sión: meneó su cabeza á tus espaldas la hija de Jerusalem.

This is the word which the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of Zion, hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.

this is the word which the LORD has spoken concerning him: The virgin daughter of Zion has despised you and ridiculed you. The daughter of Jerusalem has shaken her head at you.

Chi hai tu schernito ed oltraggiato? e contro a chi hai tu alzata la voce, e levati in alto gli occhi tuoi? contro al Santo d'Israele.

¿A quién injuriaste y á quién blasfemaste? ¿contra quién has alzado tu voz, y levantado tus ojos en alto? Contra el Santo de Israel.

Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.

Whom have you defied and blasphemed? Against whom have you exalted your voice and lifted up your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Israel.

Tu hai schernito il Signore per li tuoi servitori; ed hai detto; Con la moltitudine de' miei carri, io son salito in cima de' monti fino al sommo del Libano; io taglierò i suoi più alti cedri, e i suoi più scelti abeti; e perverrò infino all'alto della sua cima, al bosco del suo Carmel.

Por mano de tus siervos denostaste al Señor, y dijiste: Yo con la multitud de mis carros subiré á las alturas de los montes, á las laderas del Líbano; cortaré sus altos cedros, sus hayas escogidas; vendré después á lo alto de su límite, al monte de su Carmel.

By thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the height of his border, and the forest of his Carmel.

By your servants, you have defied the Lord, and have said, “With the multitude of my chariots I have come up to the height of the mountains, to the innermost parts of Lebanon. I will cut down its tall cedars and its choice cypress trees. I will enter into its farthest height, the forest of its fruitful field.

Io ho cavati dei pozzi, e ne ho bevute le acque; ed ho asciutti con le piante de' miei piedi tutti i rivi de' luoghi assediati.

Yo cavé, y bebí las aguas; y con las pisadas de mis pies secaré todos los ríos de lugares atrincherados.

I have digged, and drunk water; and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of the besieged places.

I have dug and drunk water, and with the sole of my feet I will dry up all the rivers of Egypt.”

Non hai tu inteso che già da lungo tempo io ho fatto questo, e l'ho formato ab antico? ed ora l'ho fatto venire, ed è stato per desolare, e per ridurre in mucchi di ruine le città forti.

¿No has oído decir que de mucho tiempo ha yo lo hice, que de días antiguos lo he formado? Helo hecho venir ahora, y será para destrucción de ciudades fuertes en montones de ruinas.

Hast thou not heard long ago, how I have done it; and of ancient times, that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps.

“‘Have you not heard how I have done it long ago, and formed it in ancient times? Now I have brought it to pass, that it should be yours to destroy fortified cities, turning them into ruinous heaps.

E gli abitanti di esse, scemi di forza, sono stati spaventati e confusi; sono stati come l'erba de' campi, e come la verzura dell'erbetta, e come il fieno de' tetti, e come le biade riarse, avanti che sieno salite in ispiga.

Y sus moradores, cortos de manos, quebrantados y confusos, serán como grama del campo y hortaliza verde, como hierba de los tejados, que antes de sazón se seca.

Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded: they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.

Therefore their inhabitants had little power. They were dismayed and confounded. They were like the grass of the field, and like the green herb, like the grass on the housetops, and like a field before its crop has grown.

Ma io conosco il tuo stare, e il tuo uscire, e il tuo andare, e il tuo furore contro a me.

Conocido he tu estado, tu salida y tu entrada, y tu furor contra mí.

But I know thy abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage against me.

But I know your sitting down, your going out, your coming in, and your raging against me.

Perciocchè tu sei infuriato contro a me, e il tuo romoreggiare è salito a' miei orecchi; io ti metterò il mio raffio nelle nari, e il mio freno nelle mascelle; e ti farò ritornare indietro per la via stessa, per la quale sei venuto.

Porque contra mí te airaste, y tu estruendo ha subido á mis oídos: pondré pues mi anzuelo en tu nariz, y mi freno en tus labios, y haréte tornar por el camino por donde viniste.

Because thy rage against me, and thy tumult, is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.

Because of your raging against me, and because your arrogance has come up into my ears, therefore I will put my hook in your nose and my bridle in your lips, and I will turn you back by the way by which you came.

E questo, o Ezechia, te ne sarà il segno: Quest'anno si mangerà quel che sarà nato de' granelli caduti nella ricolta precedente; e l'anno seguente quello che sarà nato da sè stesso; ma l'anno terzo voi seminerete, e mieterete; e pianterete vigne, e mangerete del frutto loro.

Y esto te será por señal: Comerás este año lo que nace de suyo, y el año segundo lo que nace de suyo: y el año tercero sembraréis y segaréis, y plantaréis viñas, y comeréis su fruto.

And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.

“‘This shall be the sign to you: You will eat this year that which grows of itself, and in the second year that which springs from it; and in the third year sow and reap and plant vineyards, and eat their fruit.

E quello che sarà restato della casa di Giuda, e sarà scampato, continuerà a far radici di sotto, ed a portar frutto di sopra.

Y el residuo de la casa de Judá que hubiere escapado, tornará á echar raíz abajo, y hará fruto arriba.

And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:

The remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah will again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.

Perciocchè di Gerusalemme uscirà un rimanente, e del monte di Sion un residuo. La gelosia del Signore degli eserciti farà questo.

Porque de Jerusalem saldrán reliquias, y del monte de Sión salvamento: el celo de Jehová de los ejércitos hará esto.

For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.

For out of Jerusalem a remnant will go out, and survivors will escape from Mount Zion. The zeal of the LORD of Armies will perform this.’

Perciò, il Signore ha detto così intorno al re degli Assiri: Egli non entrerà in questa città, e non vi tirerà dentro alcuna saetta, e non verrà all'assalto contro ad essa con iscudi, e non farà alcun argine contro ad essa.

Por tanto, así dice Jehová acerca del rey de Asiria: No entrará en esta ciudad, ni echará saeta en ella: no vendrá delante de ella escudo, ni será echado contra ella baluarte.

Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it.

“Therefore the LORD says concerning the king of Assyria, ‘He will not come to this city, nor shoot an arrow there, neither will he come before it with shield, nor cast up a mound against it.

Egli se ne ritornerà per la medesima via, per la quale è venuto, e non entrerà in questa città, dice il Signore.

Por el camino que vino se tornará, y no entrará en esta ciudad, dice Jehová:

By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD.

He will return the way that he came, and he won’t come to this city,’ says the LORD.

Ed io sarà protettor di questa città, per salvarla, per amor di me stesso, e di Davide, mio servitore.

Pues yo ampararé á esta ciudad para salvarla por amor de mí, y por amor de David mi siervo.

For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

‘For I will defend this city to save it, for my own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.’”

Or un Angelo del Signore uscì, e percosse centottantacinquemila uomini nel campo degli Assiri; e quando si furono levati la mattina, ecco non si vedeva altro che corpi morti.

Y salió el ángel de Jehová, é hirió ciento ochenta y cinco mil en el campo de los Asirios: y cuando se levantaron por la mañana, he aquí que todo era cuerpos de muertos.

Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

Then the LORD’s angel went out and struck one hundred and eighty-five thousand men in the camp of the Assyrians. When men arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies.

E Sennacherib, re degli Assiri, si partì, e se ne andò, e ritornò in Ninive, e vi dimorò.

Entonces Sennachêrib rey de Asiria partiéndose se fué, y volvióse, é hizo su morada en Nínive.

So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.

Ed avvenne che mentre egli adorava nella casa di Nisroc, suo dio, Adrammelec, e Sareser, suoi figliuoli lo percossero con la spada, e poi scamparono nel paese di Ararat. Ed Esar-haddon, suo figliuolo, regnò in luogo suo.

Y acaeció, que estando orando en el templo de Nisroch su dios, Adremelech y Sarezer, sus hijos, le hirieron á cuchillo, y huyeron á la tierra de Ararat; y reinó en su lugar Esar-hadón su hijo.

And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: and Esar-haddon his son reigned in his stead.

As he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons struck him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Ararat. Esar Haddon his son reigned in his place.
