Und es geschah, als der König Hiskia es hörte, da zerriß er seine Kleider und hüllte sich in Sacktuch und ging in das Haus Jehovas.

ACONTECIÓ pues, que el rey Ezechîas, oído esto, rasgó sus vestidos, y cubierto de saco vino á la casa de Jehová.

And it came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he rent his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD.

Und er sandte Eljakim, der über das Haus war, und Schebna, den Schreiber, und die Ältesten der Priester, in Sacktuch gehüllt zu dem Propheten Jesaja, dem Sohne Amoz'.

Y envió á Eliacim mayordomo, y á Sebna escriba, y á los ancianos de los sacerdotes, cubiertos de sacos, á Isaías profeta, hijo de Amoz.

And he sent Eliakim, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests covered with sackcloth, unto Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.

Und sie sprachen zu ihm: So spricht Hiskia: Dieser Tag ist ein Tag der Bedrängnis und der Züchtigung und der Schmähung; denn die Kinder sind bis an die Geburt gekommen, aber da ist keine Kraft zum Gebären.

Los cuales le dijeron: Ezechîas dice así: Día de angustia, de reprensión y de blasfemia, es este día: porque los hijos han llegado hasta la rotura, y no hay fuerza en la que pare.

And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.

They said to him, “Hezekiah says, ‘Today is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of rejection; for the children have come to the birth, and there is no strength to give birth.

Vielleicht wird Jehova, dein Gott, die Worte des Rabsake hören, welchen sein Herr, der König von Assyrien, gesandt hat, um den lebendigen Gott zu verhöhnen, und wird die Worte bestrafen, die Jehova, dein Gott, gehört hat. Erhebe denn ein Gebet für den Überrest, der sich noch vorfindet.

Quizá oirá Jehová tu Dios las palabras de Rabsaces, al cual envió el rey de Asiria su señor á blasfemar al Dios vivo, y á reprender con las palabras que oyó Jehová tu Dios: alza pues oración tú por las reliquias que aun han quedado.

It may be the LORD thy God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left.

It may be the LORD your God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master has sent to defy the living God, and will rebuke the words which the LORD your God has heard. Therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.’”

Und die Knechte des Königs Hiskia kamen zu Jesaja.

Vinieron pues los siervos de Ezechîas á Isaías.

Und Jesaja sprach zu ihnen: Also sollt ihr zu eurem Herrn sagen: So spricht Jehova: Fürchte dich nicht vor den Worten, die du gehört hast, womit die Diener des Königs von Assyrien mich gelästert haben.

Y díjoles Isaías: Diréis así á vuestro señor: Así dice Jehová: No temas por las palabras que has oído, con las cuales me han blasfemado los siervos del rey de Asiria.

And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

Isaiah said to them, “Tell your master, ‘The LORD says, “Don’t be afraid of the words that you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

Siehe, ich will ihm einen Geist eingeben, daß er ein Gerücht hören und in sein Land zurückkehren wird; und ich will ihn durchs Schwert fällen in seinem Lande.

He aquí que yo doy en él un espíritu, y oirá un rumor, y volveráse á su tierra: y yo haré que en su tierra caiga á cuchillo.

Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.

Behold, I will put a spirit in him and he will hear news, and will return to his own land. I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.”’”

Und der Rabsake kehrte zurück und fand den König von Assyrien streitend wider Libna; denn er hatte gehört, daß er von Lachis aufgebrochen wäre.

And he heard say concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, He is come forth to make war with thee. And when he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying,

So sollt ihr zu Hiskia, dem Könige von Juda, sprechen und sagen: Daß dich nicht täusche dein Gott, auf den du vertraust, indem du sprichst: Jerusalem wird nicht in die Hand des Königs von Assyrien gegeben werden!

Diréis así á Ezechîas rey de Judá: No te engañe tu Dios en quien tú confías, diciendo: Jerusalem no será entregada en mano del rey de Asiria.

Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God, in whom thou trustest, deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

“Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, ‘Don’t let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, “Jerusalem won’t be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”

Siehe, du hast gehört, was die Könige von Assyrien allen Ländern getan haben, indem sie sie vertilgten; und du solltest errettet werden?

He aquí que tú oiste lo que hicieron los reyes de Asiria á todas las tierras, que las destruyeron; ¿y escaparás tú?

Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands by destroying them utterly; and shalt thou be delivered?

Haben die Götter der Nationen, welche meine Väter vernichtet haben, sie errettet: Gosan und Haran und Rezeph und die Kinder Edens, die in Telassar waren?

¿Libraron los dioses de las gentes á los que destruyeron mis antepasados, á Gozán, y Harán, Rezeph, y á los hijos de Edén que moraban en Thelasar?

Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed, as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Telassar?

Und Hiskia nahm den Brief aus der Hand der Boten und las ihn; und er ging hinauf in das Haus Jehovas, und Hiskia breitete ihn vor Jehova aus.

And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.

Jehova der Heerscharen, Gott Israels, der du zwischen den Cherubim thronst, du allein bist es, der der Gott ist von allen Königreichen der Erde; du hast den Himmel und die Erde gemacht.

Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, que moras entre los querubines, sólo tú eres Dios sobre todos los reinos de la tierra; tú hiciste los cielos y la tierra.

O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.

“LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, who is enthroned among the cherubim, you are the God, even you alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

Jehova, neige dein Ohr und höre! Jehova, tue deine Augen auf und sieh! Ja, höre alle die Worte Sanheribs, der gesandt hat, um den lebendigen Gott zu verhöhnen!

Inclina, oh Jehová, tu oído, y oye; abre, oh Jehová, tus ojos, y mira: y oye todas las palabras de Sennachêrib, el cual ha enviado á blasfemar al Dios viviente.

Incline thine ear, O LORD, and hear; open thine eyes, O LORD, and see: and hear all the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent to reproach the living God.

Turn your ear, LORD, and hear. Open your eyes, LORD, and behold. Hear all of the words of Sennacherib, who has sent to defy the living God.

Wahrlich, Jehova, die Könige von Assyrien haben alle Nationen und ihr Land verwüstet;

Ciertamente, oh Jehová, los reyes de Asiria destruyeron todas las tierras y sus comarcas,

Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations, and their countries,

Truly, LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed all the countries and their land,

und sie haben ihre Götter ins Feuer geworfen, denn sie waren nicht Götter, sondern ein Werk von Menschenhänden, Holz und Stein, und sie haben sie zerstört.

Y entregaron los dioses de ellos al fuego: porque no eran dioses, sino obra de manos de hombre, leño y piedra: por eso los deshicieron.

And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.

Da sandte Jesaja, der Sohn Amoz', zu Hiskia und ließ ihm sagen: So spricht Jehova, der Gott Israels: Was du zu mir gebetet hast wegen Sanheribs, des Königs von Assyrien-

Entonces Isaías hijo de Amoz, envió á decir á Ezechîas: Jehová Dios de Israel dice así: Acerca de lo que me rogaste sobre Sennachêrib rey de Asiria,

Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Whereas thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria:

Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, “The LORD, the God of Israel says, ‘Because you have prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria,

dies ist das Wort, welches Jehova über ihn geredet hat: Es verachtet dich, es spottet deiner die Jungfrau, die Tochter Zion; die Tochter Jerusalem schüttelt das Haupt dir nach.

Esto es lo que Jehová habló de él: Hate menospreciado, y ha hecho escarnio de ti la virgen hija de Sión: meneó su cabeza á tus espaldas la hija de Jerusalem.

This is the word which the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of Zion, hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.

this is the word which the LORD has spoken concerning him: The virgin daughter of Zion has despised you and ridiculed you. The daughter of Jerusalem has shaken her head at you.

Wen hast du verhöhnt und gelästert, und gegen wen die Stimme erhoben? Gegen den Heiligen Israels hast du deine Augen emporgerichtet!

¿A quién injuriaste y á quién blasfemaste? ¿contra quién has alzado tu voz, y levantado tus ojos en alto? Contra el Santo de Israel.

Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.

Whom have you defied and blasphemed? Against whom have you exalted your voice and lifted up your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Israel.

Durch deine Knechte hast du den Herrn verhöhnt und hast gesprochen: "Mit meiner Wagen Menge habe ich die Höhen der Berge erstiegen, das äußerste Ende des Libanon; und ich werde umhauen den Hochwuchs seiner Zedern, die Auswahl seiner Zypressen, und ich werde kommen auf seine äußerste Höhe, in seinen Gartenwald.

Por mano de tus siervos denostaste al Señor, y dijiste: Yo con la multitud de mis carros subiré á las alturas de los montes, á las laderas del Líbano; cortaré sus altos cedros, sus hayas escogidas; vendré después á lo alto de su límite, al monte de su Carmel.

By thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the height of his border, and the forest of his Carmel.

By your servants, you have defied the Lord, and have said, “With the multitude of my chariots I have come up to the height of the mountains, to the innermost parts of Lebanon. I will cut down its tall cedars and its choice cypress trees. I will enter into its farthest height, the forest of its fruitful field.

Ich habe gegraben und Wasser getrunken; und mit der Sohle meiner Füße werde ich austrocknen alle Ströme Mazors."

Yo cavé, y bebí las aguas; y con las pisadas de mis pies secaré todos los ríos de lugares atrincherados.

I have digged, and drunk water; and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of the besieged places.

I have dug and drunk water, and with the sole of my feet I will dry up all the rivers of Egypt.”

Hast du nicht gehört, daß ich von fernher es gewirkt und von den Tagen der Vorzeit her es gebildet habe? Nun habe ich es kommen lassen, daß du feste Städte verwüstest zu öden Steinhaufen.

¿No has oído decir que de mucho tiempo ha yo lo hice, que de días antiguos lo he formado? Helo hecho venir ahora, y será para destrucción de ciudades fuertes en montones de ruinas.

Hast thou not heard long ago, how I have done it; and of ancient times, that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps.

“‘Have you not heard how I have done it long ago, and formed it in ancient times? Now I have brought it to pass, that it should be yours to destroy fortified cities, turning them into ruinous heaps.

Und ihre Bewohner waren machtlos, sie wurden bestürzt und beschämt; sie waren wie Kraut des Feldes und grünes Gras, wie Gras der Dächer, und Korn, das verbrannt ist, ehe es aufschießt.

Y sus moradores, cortos de manos, quebrantados y confusos, serán como grama del campo y hortaliza verde, como hierba de los tejados, que antes de sazón se seca.

Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded: they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.

Therefore their inhabitants had little power. They were dismayed and confounded. They were like the grass of the field, and like the green herb, like the grass on the housetops, and like a field before its crop has grown.

Und ich kenne dein Sitzen, und dein Aus-und dein Eingehen, und dein Toben wider mich.

Conocido he tu estado, tu salida y tu entrada, y tu furor contra mí.

But I know thy abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage against me.

But I know your sitting down, your going out, your coming in, and your raging against me.

Wegen deines Tobens wider mich, und weil dein Übermut in meine Ohren heraufgekommen ist, werde ich meinen Ring in deine Nase legen und mein Gebiß in deine Lippen, und werde dich zurückführen auf dem Wege, auf welchem du gekommen bist.

Porque contra mí te airaste, y tu estruendo ha subido á mis oídos: pondré pues mi anzuelo en tu nariz, y mi freno en tus labios, y haréte tornar por el camino por donde viniste.

Because thy rage against me, and thy tumult, is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.

Because of your raging against me, and because your arrogance has come up into my ears, therefore I will put my hook in your nose and my bridle in your lips, and I will turn you back by the way by which you came.

Und dies soll dir das Zeichen sein: Man wird in diesem Jahre den Nachwuchs der Ernte essen, und im zweiten Jahre was ausgesproßt ist; und im dritten Jahre säet und erntet, und pflanzet Weinberge und esset ihre Frucht.

Y esto te será por señal: Comerás este año lo que nace de suyo, y el año segundo lo que nace de suyo: y el año tercero sembraréis y segaréis, y plantaréis viñas, y comeréis su fruto.

And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.

“‘This shall be the sign to you: You will eat this year that which grows of itself, and in the second year that which springs from it; and in the third year sow and reap and plant vineyards, and eat their fruit.

Und das Entronnene vom Hause Juda, das übriggeblieben ist, wird wieder wurzeln nach unten und Frucht tragen nach oben.

Y el residuo de la casa de Judá que hubiere escapado, tornará á echar raíz abajo, y hará fruto arriba.

And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:

The remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah will again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.

Denn von Jerusalem wird ein Überrest ausgehen, und ein Entronnenes vom Berge Zion. Der Eifer Jehovas der Heerscharen wird solches tun.

Porque de Jerusalem saldrán reliquias, y del monte de Sión salvamento: el celo de Jehová de los ejércitos hará esto.

For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.

For out of Jerusalem a remnant will go out, and survivors will escape from Mount Zion. The zeal of the LORD of Armies will perform this.’

Darum, so spricht Jehova von dem König von Assyrien: Er soll nicht in diese Stadt kommen, und er soll keinen Pfeil darein schießen und keinen Schild ihr zukehren, und er soll keinen Wall gegen sie aufschütten.

Por tanto, así dice Jehová acerca del rey de Asiria: No entrará en esta ciudad, ni echará saeta en ella: no vendrá delante de ella escudo, ni será echado contra ella baluarte.

Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it.

“Therefore the LORD says concerning the king of Assyria, ‘He will not come to this city, nor shoot an arrow there, neither will he come before it with shield, nor cast up a mound against it.

Auf dem Wege, den er gekommen ist, auf dem soll er zurückkehren und soll in diese Stadt nicht kommen, spricht Jehova.

Por el camino que vino se tornará, y no entrará en esta ciudad, dice Jehová:

By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD.

He will return the way that he came, and he won’t come to this city,’ says the LORD.

Und ich will diese Stadt beschirmen, um sie zu retten, um meinet-und um Davids, meines Knechtes, willen.

Pues yo ampararé á esta ciudad para salvarla por amor de mí, y por amor de David mi siervo.

For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

‘For I will defend this city to save it, for my own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.’”

Und ein Engel Jehovas zog aus und schlug in dem Lager der Assyrer hundertfünfundachtzigtausend Mann. Und als man des Morgens früh aufstand, siehe, da waren sie allesamt Leichname.

Y salió el ángel de Jehová, é hirió ciento ochenta y cinco mil en el campo de los Asirios: y cuando se levantaron por la mañana, he aquí que todo era cuerpos de muertos.

Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

Then the LORD’s angel went out and struck one hundred and eighty-five thousand men in the camp of the Assyrians. When men arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies.

Und Sanherib, der König von Assyrien, brach auf, und er zog fort und kehrte zurück und blieb in Ninive.

So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.

Und es geschah, als er sich niederbeugte im Hause Nisroks, seines Gottes, da erschlugen ihn Adrammelek und Scharezer, seine Söhne, mit dem Schwerte; und sie entrannen in das Land Ararat. Und Esar-Haddon, sein Sohn, ward König an seiner Statt.

Y acaeció, que estando orando en el templo de Nisroch su dios, Adremelech y Sarezer, sus hijos, le hirieron á cuchillo, y huyeron á la tierra de Ararat; y reinó en su lugar Esar-hadón su hijo.

And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: and Esar-haddon his son reigned in his stead.

As he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons struck him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Ararat. Esar Haddon his son reigned in his place.
