Isaías 37

Als nun der König Hiskia das vernommen hatte, zerriß er seine Kleider, hüllte sich in ein grobes Trauergewand und begab sich in den Tempel des HERRN;

ACONTECIÓ pues, que el rey Ezechîas, oído esto, rasgó sus vestidos, y cubierto de saco vino á la casa de Jehová.

And it came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he rent his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD.

seinen Hausminister Eljakim aber und den Staatsschreiber Sebna samt den vornehmsten Priestern sandte er, ebenfalls in Trauerkleider gehüllt, zu dem Propheten Jesaja, dem Sohn des Amoz.

Y envió á Eliacim mayordomo, y á Sebna escriba, y á los ancianos de los sacerdotes, cubiertos de sacos, á Isaías profeta, hijo de Amoz.

Diese sagten zu ihm: »So läßt Hiskia dir sagen: ›Ein Tag der Bedrängnis, der Züchtigung und Schmach ist der heutige Tag; denn Kinder sind bis zum Muttermund gekommen, aber es fehlt an Kraft zum Gebären.

Los cuales le dijeron: Ezechîas dice así: Día de angustia, de reprensión y de blasfemia, es este día: porque los hijos han llegado hasta la rotura, y no hay fuerza en la que pare.

And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.

They said to him, “Hezekiah says, ‘Today is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of rejection; for the children have come to the birth, and there is no strength to give birth.

Vielleicht aber wird der HERR, dein Gott, auf die Worte des Großwesirs hören, den sein Herr, der König von Assyrien, hergesandt hat, um den lebendigen Gott zu verhöhnen, und wird ihn für die Worte strafen, die der HERR, dein Gott, gehört hat. So lege denn Fürbitte ein für den Rest, der noch vorhanden ist!‹«

Quizá oirá Jehová tu Dios las palabras de Rabsaces, al cual envió el rey de Asiria su señor á blasfemar al Dios vivo, y á reprender con las palabras que oyó Jehová tu Dios: alza pues oración tú por las reliquias que aun han quedado.

It may be the LORD thy God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left.

It may be the LORD your God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master has sent to defy the living God, and will rebuke the words which the LORD your God has heard. Therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.’”

Als nun die Diener des Königs Hiskia zu Jesaja kamen,

sagte dieser zu ihnen: »Bringt eurem Herrn folgenden Bescheid: ›So hat der HERR gesprochen: Fürchte dich nicht vor den Reden, die du gehört hast, mit denen die Buben des Königs von Assyrien mich geschmäht haben!

Y díjoles Isaías: Diréis así á vuestro señor: Así dice Jehová: No temas por las palabras que has oído, con las cuales me han blasfemado los siervos del rey de Asiria.

And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

Isaiah said to them, “Tell your master, ‘The LORD says, “Don’t be afraid of the words that you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

Wisse wohl: ich will ihm den Entschluß eingeben, daß er, wenn er ein Gerücht vernimmt, in sein Land zurückkehrt, und ich will ihn dann in seinem eigenen Lande durch das Schwert umkommen lassen.‹«

He aquí que yo doy en él un espíritu, y oirá un rumor, y volveráse á su tierra: y yo haré que en su tierra caiga á cuchillo.

Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.

Behold, I will put a spirit in him and he will hear news, and will return to his own land. I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.”’”

Als hierauf der Großwesir zurückgekehrt war, fand er den König von Assyrien mit der Belagerung von Libna beschäftigt; er hatte nämlich erfahren, daß er von Lachis abgezogen war.

Als Sanherib sodann in betreff des äthiopischen Königs Thirhaka die Nachricht erhielt, dieser sei zum Kriege gegen ihn ausgezogen, sandte er infolge dieser Nachricht Boten an Hiskia und ließ ihm sagen:

Mas oyendo decir de Tirhakah rey de Etiopía: He aquí que ha salido para hacerte guerra: en oyéndolo, envió mensajeros á Ezechîas, diciendo:

And he heard say concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, He is come forth to make war with thee. And when he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying,

He heard news concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, “He has come out to fight against you.” When he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying,

»Folgende Botschaft sollt ihr dem König Hiskia von Juda überbringen: Laß dich nicht von deinem Gott täuschen, auf den du dein Vertrauen setzt, indem du denkst: ›Jerusalem wird nicht in die Gewalt des Königs von Assyrien fallen!‹

Diréis así á Ezechîas rey de Judá: No te engañe tu Dios en quien tú confías, diciendo: Jerusalem no será entregada en mano del rey de Asiria.

Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God, in whom thou trustest, deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

“Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, ‘Don’t let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, “Jerusalem won’t be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”

Du hast doch selbst gehört, wie die Könige von Assyrien mit allen Ländern verfahren sind, indem sie den Bann an ihnen vollstreckten, und da solltest du gerettet werden?

He aquí que tú oiste lo que hicieron los reyes de Asiria á todas las tierras, que las destruyeron; ¿y escaparás tú?

Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands by destroying them utterly; and shalt thou be delivered?

Haben etwa die Götter der Völkerschaften, welche meine Väter vernichtet haben, sie errettet: Gosan, Haran und Rezeph und die Bewohner von Eden in Thelassar?

¿Libraron los dioses de las gentes á los que destruyeron mis antepasados, á Gozán, y Harán, Rezeph, y á los hijos de Edén que moraban en Thelasar?

Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed, as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Telassar?

Wo ist der König von Hamath und der König von Arpad und der König von Lair und Sepharwaim, von Hena und Iwwa?«

¿Dónde está el rey de Amath, y el rey de Arphad, el rey de la ciudad de Sepharvaim, de Henah, y de Hivah?

Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arphad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah?

Als nun Hiskia das Schreiben aus der Hand der Gesandten in Empfang genommen und es gelesen hatte, ging er in den Tempel des HERRN hinauf und breitete es dort vor dem HERRN aus.

Alsdann richtete Hiskia an den HERRN folgendes Gebet:

Entonces Ezechîas oró á Jehová, diciendo:

»HERR der Heerscharen, Gott Israels, der du über den Cheruben thronst, du allein bist Gott über alle Reiche der Erde: du bist es, der Himmel und Erde geschaffen hat!

Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, que moras entre los querubines, sólo tú eres Dios sobre todos los reinos de la tierra; tú hiciste los cielos y la tierra.

O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.

“LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, who is enthroned among the cherubim, you are the God, even you alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

Neige, HERR, dein Ohr und höre! Öffne deine Augen, HERR, und blicke her! Ja, höre alle die Worte, die Sanherib hier hat sagen lassen, um den lebendigen Gott zu verhöhnen!

Inclina, oh Jehová, tu oído, y oye; abre, oh Jehová, tus ojos, y mira: y oye todas las palabras de Sennachêrib, el cual ha enviado á blasfemar al Dios viviente.

Incline thine ear, O LORD, and hear; open thine eyes, O LORD, and see: and hear all the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent to reproach the living God.

Turn your ear, LORD, and hear. Open your eyes, LORD, and behold. Hear all of the words of Sennacherib, who has sent to defy the living God.

Es ist allerdings wahr, HERR, daß die Könige von Assyrien alle Völkerschaften †und ihr eigenes Land verwüstet

Ciertamente, oh Jehová, los reyes de Asiria destruyeron todas las tierras y sus comarcas,

Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations, and their countries,

Truly, LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed all the countries and their land,

und deren Götter ins Feuer geworfen haben; aber das waren auch keine Götter, sondern nur Machwerk von Menschenhänden, Holz und Stein, und darum konnten sie sie vernichten.

Y entregaron los dioses de ellos al fuego: porque no eran dioses, sino obra de manos de hombre, leño y piedra: por eso los deshicieron.

And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.

Da sandte Jesaja, der Sohn des Amoz, zu Hiskia und ließ ihm sagen: »So hat der HERR, der Gott Israels, gesprochen: Was das Gebet betrifft, das du wegen Sanheribs, des Königs von Assyrien, an mich gerichtet hast,

Entonces Isaías hijo de Amoz, envió á decir á Ezechîas: Jehová Dios de Israel dice así: Acerca de lo que me rogaste sobre Sennachêrib rey de Asiria,

Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Whereas thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria:

Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, “The LORD, the God of Israel says, ‘Because you have prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria,

so hat der HERR folgenden Ausspruch über ihn getan: Es verachtet dich, es spottet deiner die jungfräuliche Tochter Zion; hinter dir her schüttelt das Haupt die Tochter Jerusalem!

Esto es lo que Jehová habló de él: Hate menospreciado, y ha hecho escarnio de ti la virgen hija de Sión: meneó su cabeza á tus espaldas la hija de Jerusalem.

This is the word which the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of Zion, hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.

this is the word which the LORD has spoken concerning him: The virgin daughter of Zion has despised you and ridiculed you. The daughter of Jerusalem has shaken her head at you.

Wen hast du geschmäht und gelästert und gegen wen deine Stimme erhoben und deine Augen hochmütig emporgerichtet? Gegen den Heiligen Israels!

¿A quién injuriaste y á quién blasfemaste? ¿contra quién has alzado tu voz, y levantado tus ojos en alto? Contra el Santo de Israel.

Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.

Whom have you defied and blasphemed? Against whom have you exalted your voice and lifted up your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Israel.

Durch den Mund deiner Diener hast du den HERRN geschmäht und hast gesagt: ›Mit meiner Kriegswagen Menge ersteige ich die Höhen der Berge, den obersten Gipfel des Libanons; ich haue nieder den Hochwald seiner Zedern, die Auslese seiner Zypressen, und dringe vor bis zu seinem obersten Gipfel, in seinen dichtesten Baumgarten.

Por mano de tus siervos denostaste al Señor, y dijiste: Yo con la multitud de mis carros subiré á las alturas de los montes, á las laderas del Líbano; cortaré sus altos cedros, sus hayas escogidas; vendré después á lo alto de su límite, al monte de su Carmel.

By thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the height of his border, and the forest of his Carmel.

By your servants, you have defied the Lord, and have said, “With the multitude of my chariots I have come up to the height of the mountains, to the innermost parts of Lebanon. I will cut down its tall cedars and its choice cypress trees. I will enter into its farthest height, the forest of its fruitful field.

Ich grabe den Erdboden auf und trinke Wasser und mache andrerseits mit der Sohle meiner Füße versiegen alle Nilarme Ägyptens!‹

Yo cavé, y bebí las aguas; y con las pisadas de mis pies secaré todos los ríos de lugares atrincherados.

I have digged, and drunk water; and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of the besieged places.

I have dug and drunk water, and with the sole of my feet I will dry up all the rivers of Egypt.”

Hast du es nicht gehört? Von lange her habe ich es festgesetzt und von den Tagen der Vorzeit her es vorbereitet, nunmehr aber habe ich es eintreten lassen, daß du feste Städte zu wüsten Steinhaufen verheeren solltest,

¿No has oído decir que de mucho tiempo ha yo lo hice, que de días antiguos lo he formado? Helo hecho venir ahora, y será para destrucción de ciudades fuertes en montones de ruinas.

Hast thou not heard long ago, how I have done it; and of ancient times, that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps.

“‘Have you not heard how I have done it long ago, and formed it in ancient times? Now I have brought it to pass, that it should be yours to destroy fortified cities, turning them into ruinous heaps.

und ihre Bewohner, deren Arm zu kurz war, sollten erschreckt dastehen und zuschanden werden, sollten wie Kraut des Feldes und grünender Rasen sein, wie Gras auf den Dächern und wie Getreide, das versengt ist, ehe es aufschießt.

Y sus moradores, cortos de manos, quebrantados y confusos, serán como grama del campo y hortaliza verde, como hierba de los tejados, que antes de sazón se seca.

Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded: they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.

Therefore their inhabitants had little power. They were dismayed and confounded. They were like the grass of the field, and like the green herb, like the grass on the housetops, and like a field before its crop has grown.

Mir ist dein Aufstehen und dein Sitzen offenbar, dein Gehen und dein Kommen kenne ich wohl, auch dein Toben gegen mich.

Conocido he tu estado, tu salida y tu entrada, y tu furor contra mí.

But I know thy abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage against me.

But I know your sitting down, your going out, your coming in, and your raging against me.

Weil du nun gegen mich tobst und dein Großtun zu meinen Ohren aufgestiegen ist, will ich dir meinen Ring in die Nase legen und meinen Zaum an deine Lippen und will dich auf dem Wege zurückkehren lassen, auf dem du gekommen bist.

Porque contra mí te airaste, y tu estruendo ha subido á mis oídos: pondré pues mi anzuelo en tu nariz, y mi freno en tus labios, y haréte tornar por el camino por donde viniste.

Because thy rage against me, and thy tumult, is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.

Because of your raging against me, and because your arrogance has come up into my ears, therefore I will put my hook in your nose and my bridle in your lips, and I will turn you back by the way by which you came.

Folgendes aber möge dir, Hiskia, als Wahrzeichen dienen: In diesem Jahre wird man den Brachwuchs essen und im nächsten Jahre den Wurzelwuchs; im dritten Jahre aber sollt ihr säen und ernten, sollt ihr Weinberge anlegen und ihren Ertrag genießen!

Y esto te será por señal: Comerás este año lo que nace de suyo, y el año segundo lo que nace de suyo: y el año tercero sembraréis y segaréis, y plantaréis viñas, y comeréis su fruto.

And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.

“‘This shall be the sign to you: You will eat this year that which grows of itself, and in the second year that which springs from it; and in the third year sow and reap and plant vineyards, and eat their fruit.

Was dann vom Hause Juda entronnen und übriggeblieben ist, wird aufs neue nach unten hin Wurzel treiben und nach oben hin Früchte tragen;

Y el residuo de la casa de Judá que hubiere escapado, tornará á echar raíz abajo, y hará fruto arriba.

And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:

denn von Jerusalem wird ein Überrest ausgehen und eine Schar Entronnener vom Berge Zion; der Eifer des HERRN der Heerscharen wird dies vollführen!

Porque de Jerusalem saldrán reliquias, y del monte de Sión salvamento: el celo de Jehová de los ejércitos hará esto.

For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.

For out of Jerusalem a remnant will go out, and survivors will escape from Mount Zion. The zeal of the LORD of Armies will perform this.’

Darum hat der HERR in bezug auf den König von Assyrien so gesprochen: ›Er soll nicht in diese Stadt hineinkommen und keinen Pfeil hineinschießen; er soll mit keinem Schild gegen sie anrücken und keinen Wall gegen sie aufführen!

Por tanto, así dice Jehová acerca del rey de Asiria: No entrará en esta ciudad, ni echará saeta en ella: no vendrá delante de ella escudo, ni será echado contra ella baluarte.

Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it.

“Therefore the LORD says concerning the king of Assyria, ‘He will not come to this city, nor shoot an arrow there, neither will he come before it with shield, nor cast up a mound against it.

Nein, auf dem Wege, auf dem er gekommen ist, soll er zurückkehren, in diese Stadt aber nicht eindringen!‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN.

Por el camino que vino se tornará, y no entrará en esta ciudad, dice Jehová:

By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD.

He will return the way that he came, and he won’t come to this city,’ says the LORD.

›Ja, ich will diese Stadt beschirmen, um sie zu erretten, um meiner selbst willen und um meines Knechtes David willen!‹«

Pues yo ampararé á esta ciudad para salvarla por amor de mí, y por amor de David mi siervo.

For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

‘For I will defend this city to save it, for my own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.’”

Da ging der Engel des HERRN aus und ließ im Lager der Assyrer 185000 Mann sterben; und als man am Morgen früh aufstand, fand man sie allesamt tot als Leichen vor.

Y salió el ángel de Jehová, é hirió ciento ochenta y cinco mil en el campo de los Asirios: y cuando se levantaron por la mañana, he aquí que todo era cuerpos de muertos.

Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

Then the LORD’s angel went out and struck one hundred and eighty-five thousand men in the camp of the Assyrians. When men arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies.

Da brach Sanherib, der König von Assyrien, auf und zog ab; er kehrte nach Hause zurück und nahm seinen Wohnsitz in Ninive.

So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.

Als er aber dort einmal im Tempel seines Gottes Nisroch anbetete, erschlugen ihn seine Söhne Adrammelech und Sarezer mit dem Schwert; sie entflohen dann ins Land Armenien, und sein Sohn Esarhaddon folgte ihm als König in der Regierung nach.

Y acaeció, que estando orando en el templo de Nisroch su dios, Adremelech y Sarezer, sus hijos, le hirieron á cuchillo, y huyeron á la tierra de Ararat; y reinó en su lugar Esar-hadón su hijo.

And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: and Esar-haddon his son reigned in his stead.
