Isaías 37

Quando il re Ezechia ebbe udito questo, si stracciò le vesti, si coprì di un sacco, ed entrò nella casa dell’Eterno.

ACONTECIÓ pues, que el rey Ezechîas, oído esto, rasgó sus vestidos, y cubierto de saco vino á la casa de Jehová.

And it came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he rent his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD.

E mandò Eliakim, prefetto del palazzo, Scebna, il segretario, e i più anziani dei sacerdoti, coperti dei sacchi, al profeta Isaia, figliuolo di Amots, i quali gli dissero:

Y envió á Eliacim mayordomo, y á Sebna escriba, y á los ancianos de los sacerdotes, cubiertos de sacos, á Isaías profeta, hijo de Amoz.

And he sent Eliakim, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests covered with sackcloth, unto Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.

“Così parla Ezechia: Questo giorno è giorno d’angoscia, di castigo e d’onta; poiché i figliuoli sono giunti al punto d’uscir dal seno materno, e manca la forza per partorire.

Los cuales le dijeron: Ezechîas dice así: Día de angustia, de reprensión y de blasfemia, es este día: porque los hijos han llegado hasta la rotura, y no hay fuerza en la que pare.

And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.

They said to him, “Hezekiah says, ‘Today is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of rejection; for the children have come to the birth, and there is no strength to give birth.

Forse, l’Eterno, il tuo Dio, ha udite le parole di Rabshake, il quale il re d’Assiria, suo signore, ha mandato a oltraggiare l’Iddio vivente; e forse l’Eterno, il tuo Dio, punirà le parole che ha udite. Fa’ dunque salire a Dio una preghiera per il residuo del popolo che sussiste ancora”.

Quizá oirá Jehová tu Dios las palabras de Rabsaces, al cual envió el rey de Asiria su señor á blasfemar al Dios vivo, y á reprender con las palabras que oyó Jehová tu Dios: alza pues oración tú por las reliquias que aun han quedado.

It may be the LORD thy God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left.

It may be the LORD your God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master has sent to defy the living God, and will rebuke the words which the LORD your God has heard. Therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.’”

I servi del re Ezechia si recaron dunque da Isaia.

Vinieron pues los siervos de Ezechîas á Isaías.

E Isaia disse loro: “Dite al vostro signore: Così parla l’Eterno: Non temere per le parole che hai udite, con le quali i servi del re d’Assiria m’hanno oltraggiato.

Y díjoles Isaías: Diréis así á vuestro señor: Así dice Jehová: No temas por las palabras que has oído, con las cuales me han blasfemado los siervos del rey de Asiria.

And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

Isaiah said to them, “Tell your master, ‘The LORD says, “Don’t be afraid of the words that you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

Ecco, io stesso metterò in lui un tale spirito che, all’udire una certa notizia, egli tornerà nel suo paese; e io lo farò cader di spada nel suo paese”.

He aquí que yo doy en él un espíritu, y oirá un rumor, y volveráse á su tierra: y yo haré que en su tierra caiga á cuchillo.

Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.

Behold, I will put a spirit in him and he will hear news, and will return to his own land. I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.”’”

Or Rabshake se ne tornò, e trovò il re d’Assiria che assediava Libna; poiché avea saputo che il suo signore era partito da Lakis.

Vuelto pues Rabsaces, halló al rey de Asiria que batía á Libna; porque ya había oído que se había apartado de Lachîs.

So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah: for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish.

Allora il re d’Assiria ricevette questa notizia, concernente Tirhaka, re d’Etiopia: “Egli s’è messo in marcia per farti guerra”. E com’ebbe udito questo, inviò de’ messi ad Ezechia, con questo messaggio:

Mas oyendo decir de Tirhakah rey de Etiopía: He aquí que ha salido para hacerte guerra: en oyéndolo, envió mensajeros á Ezechîas, diciendo:

And he heard say concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, He is come forth to make war with thee. And when he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying,

He heard news concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, “He has come out to fight against you.” When he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying,

“Dite così a Ezechia, re di Giuda: il tuo Dio, nel quale confidi, non t’inganni dicendo: Gerusalemme non sarà data nelle mani del re d’Assiria.

Diréis así á Ezechîas rey de Judá: No te engañe tu Dios en quien tú confías, diciendo: Jerusalem no será entregada en mano del rey de Asiria.

Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God, in whom thou trustest, deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

“Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, ‘Don’t let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, “Jerusalem won’t be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”

Ecco, tu hai udito quello che i re d’Assiria hanno fatto a tutti gli altri paesi, votandoli allo sterminio; e tu ne scamperesti?

He aquí que tú oiste lo que hicieron los reyes de Asiria á todas las tierras, que las destruyeron; ¿y escaparás tú?

Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands by destroying them utterly; and shalt thou be delivered?

Gli dèi delle nazioni che i miei padri distrussero, gli dèi di Gozan, di Charan, di Retsef, e de’ figliuoli di Eden che sono a Telassar, valsero essi a liberarle?

¿Libraron los dioses de las gentes á los que destruyeron mis antepasados, á Gozán, y Harán, Rezeph, y á los hijos de Edén que moraban en Thelasar?

Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed, as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Telassar?

Dove sono il re di Hamath, il re d’Arpad, e il re della città di Sefarvaim, e quelli di Hena e d’Ivva?”

¿Dónde está el rey de Amath, y el rey de Arphad, el rey de la ciudad de Sepharvaim, de Henah, y de Hivah?

Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arphad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah?

Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arpad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, of Hena, and Ivvah?’”

Ezechia presa la lettera dalla mani de’ messi, e la lesse; poi salì dinanzi alla casa dell’Eterno, e la spiegò dinanzi all’Eterno.

Y tomó Ezechîas las cartas de mano de los mensajeros, y leyólas; y subió á la casa de Jehová, y las extendió delante de Jehová.

And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.

Ed Ezechia pregò l’Eterno, dicendo:

Entonces Ezechîas oró á Jehová, diciendo:

And Hezekiah prayed unto the LORD, saying,

Hezekiah prayed to the LORD, saying,

“O Eterno degli eserciti, Dio d’Israele, che siedi sopra i cherubini! Tu solo sei l’Iddio di tutti i regni della terra; tu hai fatto il cielo e la terra.

Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, que moras entre los querubines, sólo tú eres Dios sobre todos los reinos de la tierra; tú hiciste los cielos y la tierra.

O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.

“LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, who is enthroned among the cherubim, you are the God, even you alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

O Eterno, inclina il tuo orecchio, ed ascolta! O Eterno, apri i tuoi occhi, e vedi! Ascolta tutte le parole che Sennacherib ha mandate a dire per oltraggiare l’Iddio vivente!

Inclina, oh Jehová, tu oído, y oye; abre, oh Jehová, tus ojos, y mira: y oye todas las palabras de Sennachêrib, el cual ha enviado á blasfemar al Dios viviente.

Incline thine ear, O LORD, and hear; open thine eyes, O LORD, and see: and hear all the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent to reproach the living God.

Turn your ear, LORD, and hear. Open your eyes, LORD, and behold. Hear all of the words of Sennacherib, who has sent to defy the living God.

E’ vero, o Eterno; i re d’Assiria hanno devastato tutte quelle nazioni e le loro terre,

Ciertamente, oh Jehová, los reyes de Asiria destruyeron todas las tierras y sus comarcas,

Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations, and their countries,

Truly, LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed all the countries and their land,

e hanno date alle fiamme i loro dèi; perché quelli non erano dèi; ma erano opera di man d’uomo, legno e pietra, e li hanno distrutti.

Y entregaron los dioses de ellos al fuego: porque no eran dioses, sino obra de manos de hombre, leño y piedra: por eso los deshicieron.

And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.

Ma ora, o Eterno, o Dio nostro, liberaci dalle mani di Sennacherib, affinché tutti i regni della terra conoscano che tu solo sei l’Eterno!”

Ahora pues, Jehová Dios nuestro, líbranos de su mano, para que todos los reinos de la tierra conozcan que sólo tú eres Jehová.

Now therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD, even thou only.

Allora Isaia, figliuolo di Amots, mandò a dire ad Ezechia: “Così dice l’Eterno, l’Iddio d’Israele: La preghiera che tu m’hai rivolta riguardo a Sennacherib, re d’Assiria, io l’ho udita;

Entonces Isaías hijo de Amoz, envió á decir á Ezechîas: Jehová Dios de Israel dice así: Acerca de lo que me rogaste sobre Sennachêrib rey de Asiria,

Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Whereas thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria:

Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, “The LORD, the God of Israel says, ‘Because you have prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria,

e questa è la parola che l’Eterno ha pronunziata contro di lui: La vergine, figliuola di Sion, ti disprezza e si fa beffe di te; la figliuola di Gerusalemme scuote la testa dietro a te.

Esto es lo que Jehová habló de él: Hate menospreciado, y ha hecho escarnio de ti la virgen hija de Sión: meneó su cabeza á tus espaldas la hija de Jerusalem.

This is the word which the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of Zion, hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.

this is the word which the LORD has spoken concerning him: The virgin daughter of Zion has despised you and ridiculed you. The daughter of Jerusalem has shaken her head at you.

Chi hai tu insultato e oltraggiato? Contro di chi tu hai alzata la voce e levati in alto gli occhi tuoi? Contro il Santo d’Israele.

¿A quién injuriaste y á quién blasfemaste? ¿contra quién has alzado tu voz, y levantado tus ojos en alto? Contra el Santo de Israel.

Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.

Whom have you defied and blasphemed? Against whom have you exalted your voice and lifted up your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Israel.

Per mezzo dei tuoi servi tu hai insultato il Signore, e hai detto: “Con la moltitudine de’ miei carri io son salito in vetta ai monti, nei recessi del Libano; io taglierò i suoi cedri più alti, i suoi cipressi più belli; io giungerò alla più alta sua cima, alla sua foresta più magnifica.

Por mano de tus siervos denostaste al Señor, y dijiste: Yo con la multitud de mis carros subiré á las alturas de los montes, á las laderas del Líbano; cortaré sus altos cedros, sus hayas escogidas; vendré después á lo alto de su límite, al monte de su Carmel.

By thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the height of his border, and the forest of his Carmel.

By your servants, you have defied the Lord, and have said, “With the multitude of my chariots I have come up to the height of the mountains, to the innermost parts of Lebanon. I will cut down its tall cedars and its choice cypress trees. I will enter into its farthest height, the forest of its fruitful field.

Io ho scavato, e bevuto dell’acqua; con la pianta dei mie piedi prosciugherò tutti i fiumi d’Egitto”.

Yo cavé, y bebí las aguas; y con las pisadas de mis pies secaré todos los ríos de lugares atrincherados.

I have digged, and drunk water; and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of the besieged places.

I have dug and drunk water, and with the sole of my feet I will dry up all the rivers of Egypt.”

Non hai tu udito? Già da lungo tempo io ho preparato queste cose, da tempi antichi ne ho formato il disegno. Ed ora le faccio accadere, e tu sei là per ridurre città forti in monti di rovine.

¿No has oído decir que de mucho tiempo ha yo lo hice, que de días antiguos lo he formado? Helo hecho venir ahora, y será para destrucción de ciudades fuertes en montones de ruinas.

Hast thou not heard long ago, how I have done it; and of ancient times, that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps.

“‘Have you not heard how I have done it long ago, and formed it in ancient times? Now I have brought it to pass, that it should be yours to destroy fortified cities, turning them into ruinous heaps.

I loro abitanti, ridotti all’impotenza, sono smarriti e confusi; sono come l’erba de’ campi, come la tenera verdura, come l’erba dei tetti, come grano riarso prima di spigare.

Y sus moradores, cortos de manos, quebrantados y confusos, serán como grama del campo y hortaliza verde, como hierba de los tejados, que antes de sazón se seca.

Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded: they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.

Therefore their inhabitants had little power. They were dismayed and confounded. They were like the grass of the field, and like the green herb, like the grass on the housetops, and like a field before its crop has grown.

Ma io so quando ti siedi, quand’esci, quand’entri, e quando t’infuri contro di me.

Conocido he tu estado, tu salida y tu entrada, y tu furor contra mí.

But I know thy abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage against me.

But I know your sitting down, your going out, your coming in, and your raging against me.

E per codesto tuo infuriare contro di me, e perché la tua insolenza è giunta ai miei orecchi, io ti metterò nel naso il mio anello, e fra le lebbra il mio freno, e ti farò tornare per la via donde sei venuto.

Porque contra mí te airaste, y tu estruendo ha subido á mis oídos: pondré pues mi anzuelo en tu nariz, y mi freno en tus labios, y haréte tornar por el camino por donde viniste.

Because thy rage against me, and thy tumult, is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.

Because of your raging against me, and because your arrogance has come up into my ears, therefore I will put my hook in your nose and my bridle in your lips, and I will turn you back by the way by which you came.

E questo, o Ezechia, te ne sarà il segno: quest’anno si mangerà il frutto del grano caduto; il secondo anno, quello che cresce da sé; ma il terzo anno seminerete, mieterete, pianterete vigne, e ne mangerete il frutto.

Y esto te será por señal: Comerás este año lo que nace de suyo, y el año segundo lo que nace de suyo: y el año tercero sembraréis y segaréis, y plantaréis viñas, y comeréis su fruto.

And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.

“‘This shall be the sign to you: You will eat this year that which grows of itself, and in the second year that which springs from it; and in the third year sow and reap and plant vineyards, and eat their fruit.

E il residuo della casa di Giuda che sarà scampato metterà ancora radici in basso, e porterà frutto in alto.

Y el residuo de la casa de Judá que hubiere escapado, tornará á echar raíz abajo, y hará fruto arriba.

And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:

The remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah will again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.

Poiché da Gerusalemme uscirà un residuo, e dal monte di Sion usciranno degli scampati. Lo zelo dell’Eterno degli eserciti farà questo.

Porque de Jerusalem saldrán reliquias, y del monte de Sión salvamento: el celo de Jehová de los ejércitos hará esto.

For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.

For out of Jerusalem a remnant will go out, and survivors will escape from Mount Zion. The zeal of the LORD of Armies will perform this.’

Perciò così parla l’Eterno circa il re d’Assiria: Egli non entrerà in questa città, e non vi tirerà dentro alcuna freccia; non verrà davanti ad essa con scudi, e non eleverà trincee contro di lei.

Por tanto, así dice Jehová acerca del rey de Asiria: No entrará en esta ciudad, ni echará saeta en ella: no vendrá delante de ella escudo, ni será echado contra ella baluarte.

Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it.

“Therefore the LORD says concerning the king of Assyria, ‘He will not come to this city, nor shoot an arrow there, neither will he come before it with shield, nor cast up a mound against it.

Ei se ne tornerà per la via donde è venuto, e non entrerà in questa città, dice l’Eterno.

Por el camino que vino se tornará, y no entrará en esta ciudad, dice Jehová:

By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD.

He will return the way that he came, and he won’t come to this city,’ says the LORD.

Poiché io proteggerò questa città per salvarla, per amor di me stesso e per amor di Davide, mio servo.

Pues yo ampararé á esta ciudad para salvarla por amor de mí, y por amor de David mi siervo.

For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

‘For I will defend this city to save it, for my own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.’”

E l’angelo dell’Eterno uscì e colpì, nel campo degli Assiri, cento ottantacinquemila uomini; e quando la gente si levò la mattina, ecco ch’eran tanti cadaveri.

Y salió el ángel de Jehová, é hirió ciento ochenta y cinco mil en el campo de los Asirios: y cuando se levantaron por la mañana, he aquí que todo era cuerpos de muertos.

Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

Then the LORD’s angel went out and struck one hundred and eighty-five thousand men in the camp of the Assyrians. When men arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies.

Allora Sennacherib, re d’Assiria, levò il suo campo, partì e tornò a Ninive, dove rimase.

Entonces Sennachêrib rey de Asiria partiéndose se fué, y volvióse, é hizo su morada en Nínive.

So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.

E avvenne che, com’egli stava prostrato nella casa di Nisroc, suo dio, Adrammelec e Saretser, suoi figliuoli, l’uccisero a colpi di spada, e si rifugiarono nel paese d’Ararat. Ed Esarhaddon, suo figliuolo, regnò in luogo suo.

Y acaeció, que estando orando en el templo de Nisroch su dios, Adremelech y Sarezer, sus hijos, le hirieron á cuchillo, y huyeron á la tierra de Ararat; y reinó en su lugar Esar-hadón su hijo.

And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: and Esar-haddon his son reigned in his stead.

As he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons struck him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Ararat. Esar Haddon his son reigned in his place.
