Y se alegró mucho de esto Ezequías , y les hizo ver el repuesto o recámara de los aromas, y de la plata, y del oro, y de los bálsamos y de los ungüentos preciosos, y todas las estancias de sus muebles, y todo cuanto se hallaba en sus tesoros. No dejo Ezequías cosa alguna de su casa o en su poder, que no se las mostrara.
EN aquel tiempo Merodach-baladán, hijo de Baladán, rey de Babilonia, envió cartas y presentes á Ezechîas; porque había oído que había estado enfermo, y que había convalecido.

Mas entró después el profeta Isaías a ver al rey Ezequías , y le preguntó: ¿Qué han dicho esos hombres, y de dónde vienen? Han venido a mí, respondió Ezequías , de lejanas tierras, de Babilonia.
Y holgóse con ellos Ezechîas, y enseñóles la casa de su tesoro, plata y oro, y especierías, y ungüentos preciosos, y toda su casa de armas, y todo lo que se pudo hallar en sus tesoros: no hubo cosa en su casa y en todo su señorío, que Ezechîas no les mostrase.

¿Y qué han visto en tu palacio?, repuso Isaías. Han visto todo cuanto hay en él, dijo Ezequías , nada ha quedado por mostrarles de todas mis preciosidades.
Entonces Isaías profeta vino al rey Ezechîas, y díjole: ¿Qué dicen estos hombres, y de dónde han venido á ti? Y Ezechîas respondió: De tierra muy lejos han venido á mí, de Babilonia.
Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country unto me, even from Babylon.
Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah, and asked him, “What did these men say? From where did they come to you?” Hezekiah said, “They have come from a country far from me, even from Babylon.”
Entonces dijo Isaías a Ezequías : Escucha la palabra del Señor de los ejércitos:
Dijo entonces: ¿Qué han visto en tu casa? Y dijo Ezechîas: Todo lo que hay en mi casa han visto, y ninguna cosa hay en mis tesoros que no les haya mostrado.
Then said he, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.
Then he asked, “What have they seen in your house?” Hezekiah answered, “They have seen all that is in my house. There is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.”
He aquí que vendrá tiempo en que todas las cosas que hay en tu palacio, y cuanto atesoraron tus padres hasta el día de hoy, será todo llevado a Babilonia; no dejarán ahí nada, dice el Señor.

Y escogerán de entre tus hijos, que descenderán de ti por línea recta, para que sirvan de eunucos en el palacio del rey de Babilonia.
He aquí, vienen días en que será llevado á Babilonia todo lo que hay en tu casa, y lo que tus padres han atesorado hasta hoy: ninguna cosa quedará, dice Jehová.
Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.
‘Behold, the days are coming when all that is in your house, and that which your fathers have stored up until today, will be carried to Babylon. Nothing will be left,’ says the LORD.
Y respondió Ezequías a Isaías: Justa es la sentencia que ha pronunciado el Señor. Me contento, añadió, con que haya paz y se cumplan en mis días las promesas del Señor.
De tus hijos que hubieren salido de ti, y que engendraste, tomarán, y serán eunucos en el palacio del rey de Babilonia.
And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.
‘They will take away your sons who will issue from you, whom you shall father, and they will be eunuchs in the king of Babylon’s palace.’”
Consuélate, oh pueblo mío, consuélate, porque he aquí lo que me ha dicho vuestro Dios:
Y dijo Ezechîas á Isaías: La palabra de Jehová que has hablado, es buena. Y añadió: A lo menos, haya paz y verdad en mis días.
Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my days.
Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “The LORD’s word which you have spoken is good.” He said moreover, “For there will be peace and truth in my days.”
