Vejam! O Soberano, o Deus Todo-poderoso, vai cortar o sustento da cidade de Jerusalém e do povo de Judá, tanto o suprimento de pão quanto da água.
PORQUE he aquí que el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos quita de Jerusalem y de Judá el sustentador y el fuerte, todo sustento de pan y todo socorro de agua;
For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water,

Vão desaparecer o valente e o soldado, o juiz e o profeta, o adivinho e o ancião;

El capitán de cincuenta, y el hombre de respeto, y el consejero, y el artífice excelente, y el hábil orador.
The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.

O Senhor escolherá meninos irresponsáveis para governar o seu povo.
Y pondréles mozos por príncipes, y muchachos serán sus señores.
And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.
I will give boys to be their princes, and children shall rule over them.
O povo será oprimido; um será contra o outro, cada um contra o seu próximo. Os jovens ofenderão os idosos. O desprezível se colocará contra o homem de bem.
Y el pueblo hará violencia los unos á los otros, cada cual contra su vecino: el mozo se levantará contra el viejo, y el villano contra el noble.
And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.

Naqueles dias, um homem dirá a seu irmão: “Você, pelo menos, tem uma roupa decente. Você vai ser o nosso governante sobre esse montão de ruínas!”
Cuando alguno trabare de su hermano, de la familia de su padre, y le dijere, Que vestir tienes, tú serás nuestro príncipe, y sea en tu mano esta ruina;
When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand:
Indeed a man shall take hold of his brother in the house of his father, saying, “You have clothing, you be our ruler, and let this ruin be under your hand.”
E a resposta será: “Nunca! Eu não posso ajudar ninguém. Não tenho roupas nem comida sobrando em minha casa. Não quero me envolver com isso!”
El jurará aquel día, diciendo: No tomaré ese cuidado; porque en mi casa ni hay pan, ni qué vestir: no me hagáis príncipe del pueblo.
In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.

Jerusalém está em ruínas, e o povo de Judá está caído porque ofenderam o Senhor, falando e desafiando sua presença gloriosa.
Pues arruinada está Jerusalem, y Judá ha caído; porque la lengua de ellos y sus obras han sido contra Jehová, para irritar los ojos de su majestad.
For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.

Basta olhar para os seus rostos para ver o seu pecado. Eles não sentem nem um pouco de vergonha em mostrar publicamente os seus pecados, como fazia o povo em Sodoma. Ai deles, pois estão trazendo sobre si mesmos o castigo da sua própria maldade.
La apariencia del rostro de ellos los convence: que como Sodoma predican su pecado, no lo disimulan. ¡Ay del alma de ellos! porque allegaron mal para sí.
The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
The look of their faces testify against them. They parade their sin like Sodom. They don’t hide it. Woe to their soul! For they have brought disaster upon themselves.
Mas, para as pessoas que obedecem a Deus, tudo correrá bem. Digam a elas: “Vocês ficarão satisfeitas com o que ganharem com o seu trabalho!”
Decid al justo que le irá bien: porque comerá de los frutos de sus manos.
Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

Mas para os que não obedecem, digam: “O seu castigo não demora! Vocês terão a retribuição por todo o mal que fizeram!”
¡Ay del impío! mal le irá: porque según las obras de sus manos le será pagado.
Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them, for the deeds of their hands will be paid back to them.
Ah, meu pobre povo! Os seus líderes não passam de crianças, brincando de reis. Mulheres dominam sobre eles! Eles enganam o meu povo, levando-o pelo caminho da destruição.
Los exactores de mi pueblo son muchachos, y mujeres se enseñorearon de él. Pueblo mío, los que te guían te engañan, y tuercen la carrera de tus caminos.
As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

O Senhor se levanta, e como um juiz num tribunal ele se levanta para julgar o seu povo!
Jehová está en pie para litigar, y está para juzgar los pueblos.
The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.

O Senhor entra em juízo contra os anciãos e contra os líderes do seu povo. “Foram vocês que acabaram com a vinha. As suas casas estão cheias do que roubaram dessa gente pobre e humilde.
Jehová vendrá á juicio contra los ancianos de su pueblo y contra sus príncipes; porque vosotros habéis devorado la viña, y el despojo del pobre está en vuestras casas.
The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.

Como vocês tiveram coragem de fazer tanto mal ao meu povo e de explorar tanto os pobres?” É o Senhor, o Deus Todo-poderoso, quem está falando.
¿Qué pensáis vosotros que majáis mi pueblo, y moléis las caras de los pobres? dice el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos.
What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
What do you mean that you crush my people, and grind the face of the poor?” says the Lord, GOD of Armies.
Diz o Senhor: “Por causa da arrogância das mulheres de Sião, que desfilam pelas ruas de cabeça erguida, com seus olhares atrevidos e que fazem barulho quando andam,
Asimismo dice Jehová: Por cuanto las hijas de Sión se ensoberbecen, y andan cuellierguidas y los ojos descompuestos; cuando andan van danzando, y haciendo son con los pies:
Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:
Moreover the LORD said, “Because the daughters of Zion are arrogant, and walk with outstretched necks and flirting eyes, walking daintily as they go, jingling ornaments on their feet;
o Senhor vai castigar as mulheres de Sião, rapando as suas cabeças! Vai deixá-las descobertas e envergonhadas diante de todos”.
Por tanto, pelará el Señor la mollera de las hijas de Sión, y Jehová descubrirá sus vergüenzas.
Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.

Naquele dia, o Senhor arrancará os enfeites delas; as pulseiras, os enfeites da cabeça, os colares em forma de meia-lua;
Aquel día quitará el Señor el atavío de los calzados, y las redecillas, y las lunetas;
In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,
In that day the Lord will take away the beauty of their anklets, the headbands, the crescent necklaces,
os brincos, os braceletes e os véus que as deixam tão belas,
Los collares, y los joyeles, y los brazaletes;
The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,
the earrings, the bracelets, the veils,
os lindos chapéus, as correntes que prendem nos tornozelos para andar com elegância, os cintos, os talismãs e os amuletos;
Las escofietas, y los atavíos de las piernas, los partidores del pelo, los pomitos de olor, y los zarcillos;
The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,
the headdresses, the ankle chains, the sashes, the perfume containers, the charms,
os anéis com selo e as joias do nariz;
Los anillos, y los joyeles de las narices;
The rings, and nose jewels,
the signet rings, the nose rings,
os belos vestidos de festa, os xales elegantes, os mantos e as bolsas;
Las ropas de remuda, los mantoncillos, los velos, y los alfileres;
The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins,
the fine robes, the capes, the cloaks, the purses,
seus espelhos, as roupas de linho, os enfeites para o cabelo e os turbantes.
Los espejos, los pañizuelos, las gasas, y los tocados.
The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.
the hand mirrors, the fine linen garments, the tiaras, and the shawls.
Em lugar do perfume, vai haver mau cheiro; em vez de belos cintos, elas usarão pedaços de corda; em vez de penteados bonitos, calvície; em vez de belos vestidos, pano de saco. Toda a antiga beleza dessas mulheres desaparecerá; tudo que lhes resta é a vergonha e a desgraça.
Y será que en lugar de los perfumes aromáticos vendrá hediondez; y desgarrón en lugar de cinta; y calvez en lugar de la compostura del cabello; y en lugar de faja ceñimiento de saco; y quemadura en vez de hermosura.
And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.
It shall happen that instead of sweet spices, there shall be rottenness; instead of a belt, a rope; instead of well set hair, baldness; instead of a robe, a wearing of sackcloth; and branding instead of beauty.
Seus homens morrerão na guerra e seus valentes morrerão no combate.
Tus varones caerán á cuchillo, y tu fuerza en la guerra.
Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.

As portas de Sião ficarão de luto e chorarão; a cidade se assentará no chão, completamente desolada.
Sus puertas se entristecerán y enlutarán, y ella, desamparada, sentaráse en tierra.
And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground.
