Isaías 40

Eine Stimme sagt: „Rufe!“ Und ich sagte: „Was soll ich rufen?“ Alles Fleisch †ist Gras und alle seine Güte †ist wie eine Blume des Feldes.

Voz que decía: Da voces. Y yo respondí: ¿Qué tengo de decir á voces? Toda carne es hierba, y toda su gloria como flor del campo:

The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:

The voice of one saying, “Cry out!” One said, “What shall I cry?” “All flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flower of the field.
