Parlate al cuor di Gerusalemme, e predicatele che il suo termine è compiuto, che la sua iniquità è quietata; perchè ella ha ricevuto dalla mano del Signore il castigo di tutti i suoi peccati al doppio.
Hablad al corazón de Jerusalem: decidle á voces que su tiempo es ya cumplido, que su pecado es perdonado; que doble ha recibido de la mano de Jehová por todos sus pecados.
Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD’s hand double for all her sins.

Vi è una voce d'uno che grida: Acconciate nel deserto la via del Signore, addirizzate per la solitudine la strada all'Iddio nostro.
Voz que clama en el desierto: Barred camino á Jehová: enderezad calzada en la soledad á nuestro Dios.
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Ogni valle sia alzata, ed ogni monte e colle sia abbassato; e sieno i luoghi distorti ridirizzati, e i luoghi erti ridotti in pianura.

Vi è una voce che dice: Grida. Ed è stato detto: Che griderò? Grida, che ogni carne è fieno, e che tutto il bene ch'ella fa è come un fiore della campagna.
Voz que decía: Da voces. Y yo respondí: ¿Qué tengo de decir á voces? Toda carne es hierba, y toda su gloria como flor del campo:

Il fieno si secca, il fiore si appassa, quando lo Spirito del Signore vi soffia contra; in verità il popolo non è altro che fieno.
La hierba se seca, y la flor se cae; porque el viento de Jehová sopló en ella: ciertamente hierba es el pueblo.
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.

O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!

Ecco, il Signore Iddio verrà contro al forte, e il suo braccio lo signoreggerà; ecco, la sua mercede è con lui, e la sua opera è dinanzi alla sua faccia.

CHI ha misurate le acque col pugno, e chi ha fatto il conto dello spazio del cielo con la spanna, ed ha compresa la polvere della terra in una misura, ed ha pesati i monti con la stadera, e i colli con la bilancia?

Con chi si è egli consigliato, e chi l'ha avvisato, o chi l'ha ammaestrato nel sentier del giudicio? e chi gli ha insegnata scienza, o mostrata la via degl'intendimenti?
¿A quién demandó consejo para ser avisado? ¿Quién le enseñó el camino del juicio, ó le enseñó ciencia, ó le mostró la senda de la prudencia?

He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that shall not be moved.
He who is too impoverished for such an offering chooses a tree that will not rot. He seeks a skillful workman to set up a carved image for him that will not be moved.
Non avete voi alcun conoscimento? non ascoltate voi? la cosa non vi è ella stata dichiarata fin dal principio? non intendete voi come la terra è stata fondata?

Perchè diresti, o Giacobbe; e perchè, o Israele, parleresti così: La mia via è occulta al Signore, e la mia ragione non viene più davanti all'Iddio mio?
¿Por qué dices, oh Jacob, y hablas tú, Israel: Mi camino es escondido de Jehová, y de mi Dios pasó mi juicio?
Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?
Why do you say, Jacob, and speak, Israel, “My way is hidden from the LORD, and the justice due me is disregarded by my God”?
Non sai tu, non hai tu udito? Il Signore è l'Iddio eterno, che ha create le estremità della terra; egli non si stanca, e non si affatica; il suo intendimento è infinito.
¿No has sabido, no has oído que el Dios del siglo es Jehová, el cual crió los términos de la tierra? No se trabaja, ni se fatiga con cansancio, y su entendimiento no hay quien lo alcance.
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
Haven’t you known? Haven’t you heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn’t faint. He isn’t weary. His understanding is unsearchable.
Egli dà forza allo stanco, ed accresce vigore a chi è senza forze.
El da esfuerzo al cansado, y multiplica las fuerzas al que no tiene ningunas.
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might.
I giovani si stancano, e si affaticano; e i più scelti giovani traboccano, e cadono.
Los mancebos se fatigan y se cansan, los mozos flaquean y caen:

Ma quelli che sperano nel Signore acquistano del continuo nuove forze; salgono con l'ale, come l'aquile; corrono, e non si affaticano; camminano, e non si stancano.
Mas los que esperan á Jehová tendrán nuevas fuerzas; levantarán las alas como águilas; correrán, y no se cansarán; caminarán, y no se fatigarán.
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
