CONSOLAOS, consolaos, pueblo mío, dice vuestro Dios.
Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
“Comfort, comfort my people,” says your God.
Prêtres, parlez au cœur de Jérusalem ; consolez-la, car son humiliation est accomplie ; son péché lui est remis, parce qu'elle a reçu de la main du Seigneur un châtiment double de ses péchés.
Hablad al corazón de Jerusalem: decidle á voces que su tiempo es ya cumplido, que su pecado es perdonado; que doble ha recibido de la mano de Jehová por todos sus pecados.
Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD’s hand double for all her sins.

On entend la voix de celui qui crie dans le désert : Préparez la voie du Seigneur, redressez les sentiers de notre Dieu.
Voz que clama en el desierto: Barred camino á Jehová: enderezad calzada en la soledad á nuestro Dios.
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
The voice of one who calls out, “Prepare the way of the LORD in the wilderness! Make a level highway in the desert for our God.
Toute vallée sera remplie, toute montagne sera abaissée ; les chemins tortueux seront redressés, ceux qui étaient raboteux seront aplanis.
Todo valle sea alzado, y bájese todo monte y collado; y lo torcido se enderece, y lo áspero se allane.
Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

L'herbe s'est desséchée, et la fleur est tombée.
La hierba se seca, y la flor se cae; porque el viento de Jehová sopló en ella: ciertamente hierba es el pueblo.
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.

O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!

Voilà le Seigneur, le Seigneur vient avec la force, son bras a la puissance ; voilà dans ses mains le salaire, et l'œuvre est devant ses yeux.
He aquí que el Señor Jehová vendrá con fortaleza, y su brazo se enseñoreará: he aquí que su salario viene con él, y su obra delante de su rostro.

Qui a mesuré les eaux à la main, le ciel à la palme, et toute la terre à la poignée ? Qui a placé les montagnes dans une balance ? Qui a pesé les forêts ?

¿A quién demandó consejo para ser avisado? ¿Quién le enseñó el camino del juicio, ó le enseñó ciencia, ó le mostró la senda de la prudencia?
With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?

Est-ce que toutes les nations ne sont pas à ses yeux comme la goutte d'eau qui s'échappe du vase ? comme l'oscillation d'une balance ? Ne seront- elles pas à ses yeux comme un peu de salive ?
He aquí que las naciones son reputadas como la gota de un acetre, y como el orín del peso: he aquí que hace desaparecer las islas como polvo.

El pobre escoge, para ofrecerle, madera que no se corrompa; búscase un maestro sabio, que le haga una imagen de talla que no se mueva.
He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that shall not be moved.
He who is too impoverished for such an offering chooses a tree that will not rot. He seeks a skillful workman to set up a carved image for him that will not be moved.
Ne savez-vous pas cela ? Ne l'avez-vous pas ouï dire ? Ne vous l'a-t-on pas appris dès le commencement ? Ne connaissez-vous pas les fondements de la terre ?

El está asentado sobre el globo de la tierra, cuyos moradores son como langostas: él extiende los cielos como una cortina, tiéndelos como una tienda para morar:

C'est lui par qui règnent les princes, qui sont comme un néant devant lui. C'est lui qui a créé la terre et la regarde comme un néant.
El torna en nada los poderosos, y á los que gobiernan la tierra hace como cosa vana.
That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.

Maintenant donc, à qui m'avez-vous comparé, pour que je m'en glorifie ? dit le Saint.
¿A qué pues me haréis semejante, ó seré asimilado? dice el Santo.

Et toi, qu'as-tu dit, Jacob ? Pourquoi as-tu ainsi parlé, Israël ? Ma voix est ignorée de Dieu, et mon Dieu m'a retiré sa justice, et il s'est éloigné.
¿Por qué dices, oh Jacob, y hablas tú, Israel: Mi camino es escondido de Jehová, y de mi Dios pasó mi juicio?
Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?
Why do you say, Jacob, and speak, Israel, “My way is hidden from the LORD, and the justice due me is disregarded by my God”?
Et maintenant n'as-tu pas appris, n'as-tu pas entendu ? Dieu, c'est l'Éternel ; c'est Dieu qui a assigné des limites à la terre ; il ne sentira jamais la faim ni la fatigue ; et il n'y a pas à pénétrer sa sagesse.
¿No has sabido, no has oído que el Dios del siglo es Jehová, el cual crió los términos de la tierra? No se trabaja, ni se fatiga con cansancio, y su entendimiento no hay quien lo alcance.
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
Haven’t you known? Haven’t you heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn’t faint. He isn’t weary. His understanding is unsearchable.
C'est lui qui donne la force aux affamés, et non la tristesse à ceux qui sont dans la douleur.
El da esfuerzo al cansado, y multiplica las fuerzas al que no tiene ningunas.
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might.
Car les adolescents auront faim, les jeunes gens seront fatigués, les hommes d'élite seront affaiblis.
Los mancebos se fatigan y se cansan, los mozos flaquean y caen:
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

Mais ceux qui attendent le Seigneur trouveront des forces nouvelles ; il leur poussera des ailes comme aux aiglons ; ils courront, et ne seront point fatigués ; ils marcheront, et n'auront pas faim.
Mas los que esperan á Jehová tendrán nuevas fuerzas; levantarán las alas como águilas; correrán, y no se cansarán; caminarán, y no se fatigarán.
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
