CONSOLAOS, consolaos, pueblo mío, dice vuestro Dios.
Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
“Comfort, comfort my people,” says your God.
"Falai com ternura a Jerusalém; proclamai a ela que sua guerra terminou, que sua iniquidade está perdoada, que ela, por todos os seus pecados, recebeu em dobro da mão de Yahweh".
Hablad al corazón de Jerusalem: decidle á voces que su tiempo es ya cumplido, que su pecado es perdonado; que doble ha recibido de la mano de Jehová por todos sus pecados.
Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD’s hand double for all her sins.

Uma voz clama: "No deserto, preparai o caminho de Yahweh; fazei uma estrada reta no deserto para o nosso Deus".
Voz que clama en el desierto: Barred camino á Jehová: enderezad calzada en la soledad á nuestro Dios.
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
The voice of one who calls out, “Prepare the way of the LORD in the wilderness! Make a level highway in the desert for our God.
Todo vale será levantado; toda montanha e colina será nivelada; a terra acidentada será feita plana e os lugares íngremes serão aplanados;
Todo valle sea alzado, y bájese todo monte y collado; y lo torcido se enderece, y lo áspero se allane.
Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

a glória de Yahweh será revelada e todos juntos a verão, pois assim a boca de Yahweh falou.

Uma voz diz: "Clama!". Outra responde: "O que eu deveria clamar?". "Toda carne é relva e toda a sua fama é como a flor do campo.
Voz que decía: Da voces. Y yo respondí: ¿Qué tengo de decir á voces? Toda carne es hierba, y toda su gloria como flor del campo:

A relva seca e a flor murcha quando o fôlego de Yahweh sopra sobre elas; certamente, a humanidade é relva.
La hierba se seca, y la flor se cae; porque el viento de Jehová sopló en ella: ciertamente hierba es el pueblo.
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.
The grass withers, the flower fades, because the LORD’s breath blows on it. Surely the people are like grass.
A relva seca, a flor murcha, mas a palavra do nosso Deus permanecerá para sempre".
Sécase la hierba, cáese la flor: mas la palabra del Dios nuestro permanece para siempre.

Vai para uma alta montanha, Sião, portadora das boas notícias. Grita em voz alta, Jerusalém. Tu, que trazes boas notícias, levanta a tua voz, não tenhas medo. Dize às cidades de Judá: "Eis aqui vosso Deus!"
Súbete sobre un monte alto, anunciadora de Sión; levanta fuertemente tu voz, anunciadora de Jerusalem; levántala, no temas; di á las ciudades de Judá: ¡Veis aquí el Dios vuestro!
O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
You who tell good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who tell good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with strength! Lift it up! Don’t be afraid! Say to the cities of Judah, “Behold, your God!”
Vede, o Senhor Yahweh vem como um guerreiro vitorioso, e Seu braço forte governa por Ele. Vede! Seu galardão está com Ele, e aqueles que Ele resgatou vão diante Dele.
He aquí que el Señor Jehová vendrá con fortaleza, y su brazo se enseñoreará: he aquí que su salario viene con él, y su obra delante de su rostro.
Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

Ele alimentará Seu rebanho como um pastor; reunirá, em Seus braços, os cordeiros e os carregará perto de Seu coração; mansamente, conduzirá as ovelhas que amamentam seus filhotes.

Quem já mediu as águas na concha de Sua mão, mediu a expansão do céu a palmos, conteve o pó da terra em uma cesta, pesou as montanhas com balanças ou as colinas com pratos?
¿Quién midió las aguas con su puño, y aderezó los cielos con su palmo, y con tres dedos allegó el polvo de la tierra, y pesó los montes con balanza, y con peso los collados?

Quem compreendeu a mente de Yahweh, ou O instruiu como Seu conselheiro?
¿Quién enseñó al espíritu de Jehová, ó le aconsejo enseñándole?
Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him?
Who has directed the LORD’s Spirit, or has taught him as his counselor?
De quem Ele já recebeu instrução? Quem O ensinou a fazer coisas corretas, ou Lhe ensinou a sabedoria, ou Lhe mostrou o caminho do entendimento?
¿A quién demandó consejo para ser avisado? ¿Quién le enseñó el camino del juicio, ó le enseñó ciencia, ó le mostró la senda de la prudencia?
With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?

Vede! As nações são como uma gota em um balde; são consideradas como pó nas balanças. Vede! Ele pesa as ilhas como um grão de poeira.

O Líbano não é combustível suficiente, nem os animais selvagens são bastantes para serem queimados como ofertas.

Um ídolo, que um artesão molda, o ourives o cobre de ouro e forja correntes de prata para ele.
El artífice apareja la imagen de talla, el platero le extiende el oro, y le funde cadenas de plata.
The workman melteth a graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold, and casteth silver chains.

A fim de fazer uma oferta, alguém escolhe uma madeira que não apodrece e procura um artesão habilidoso para fazer um ídolo que não tombe.
El pobre escoge, para ofrecerle, madera que no se corrompa; búscase un maestro sabio, que le haga una imagen de talla que no se mueva.
He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that shall not be moved.
He who is too impoverished for such an offering chooses a tree that will not rot. He seeks a skillful workman to set up a carved image for him that will not be moved.
Por acaso vós não sabeis? Não tendes ouvido? Isso não vos foi dito desde o início? Não entendestes desde a fundação da terra?
¿No sabéis? ¿no habéis oído? ¿nunca os lo han dicho desde el principio? ¿no habéis sido enseñados desde que la tierra se fundó?
Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?

Ele é o que Se assenta acima do horizonte da terra; os habitantes são como gafanhotos diante Dele. Ele estende os céus como uma cortina e os espalha como uma tenda para nela habitar.
El está asentado sobre el globo de la tierra, cuyos moradores son como langostas: él extiende los cielos como una cortina, tiéndelos como una tienda para morar:
It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

Ele reduz os governantes a nada; torna insignificantes os juízes da terra.
El torna en nada los poderosos, y á los que gobiernan la tierra hace como cosa vana.
That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.

Mal foram plantados, mal foram semeados, mal seus caules firmam raízes na terra, quando Ele sopra sobre eles, então murcham e o vento os leva como palha.
Como si nunca fueran plantados, como si nunca fueran sembrados, como si nunca su tronco hubiera tenido raíz en la tierra; así que sopla en ellos se secan, y el torbellino los lleva como hojarascas.
Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble.
They are planted scarcely. They are sown scarcely. Their stock has scarcely taken root in the ground. He merely blows on them, and they wither, and the whirlwind takes them away as stubble.
"A quem, então, Me comparareis? A quem Me assemelho?", diz o Santo.
¿A qué pues me haréis semejante, ó seré asimilado? dice el Santo.

Olhai para o céu! Quem criou todas essas estrelas? Ele faz sair o exército delas e chama todas pelo nome. Pela grandeza de Sua força e pelo vigor de Seu poder, nenhuma delas se perde.
Levantad en alto vuestros ojos, y mirad quién crió estas cosas: él saca por cuenta su ejército: á todas llama por sus nombres; ninguna faltará: tal es la grandeza de su fuerza, y su poder y virtud.
Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.
Lift up your eyes on high, and see who has created these, who brings out their army by number. He calls them all by name. By the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power, not one is lacking.
Por que dizes, Jacó, e declaras, Israel: "Meu caminho está escondido de Yahweh", e "Meu Deus não está preocupado com o meu direito"?
¿Por qué dices, oh Jacob, y hablas tú, Israel: Mi camino es escondido de Jehová, y de mi Dios pasó mi juicio?
Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?
Why do you say, Jacob, and speak, Israel, “My way is hidden from the LORD, and the justice due me is disregarded by my God”?
Por acaso não sabes? Não ouviste? O eterno Deus, Yahweh, o Criador dos confins da terra, não Se cansa nem Se fatiga; não há limite para o Seu entendimento.
¿No has sabido, no has oído que el Dios del siglo es Jehová, el cual crió los términos de la tierra? No se trabaja, ni se fatiga con cansancio, y su entendimiento no hay quien lo alcance.
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
Haven’t you known? Haven’t you heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn’t faint. He isn’t weary. His understanding is unsearchable.
Ao cansado, Ele dá força, e ao fraco, restaura o vigor.
El da esfuerzo al cansado, y multiplica las fuerzas al que no tiene ningunas.
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might.
Até os jovens se cansam e fatigam, e os moços tropeçam e caem.
Los mancebos se fatigan y se cansan, los mozos flaquean y caen:
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

Mas aqueles que esperam por Yahweh renovarão suas forças; eles subirão com asas como águias; correrão e não se cansarão; caminharão e não se enfraquecerão.
Mas los que esperan á Jehová tendrán nuevas fuerzas; levantarán las alas como águilas; correrán, y no se cansarán; caminarán, y no se fatigarán.
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
