Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow.
Who has raised up one from the east? Who called him to his feet in righteousness? He hands over nations to him and makes him rule over kings. He gives them like the dust to his sword, like the driven stubble to his bow.

Os países do outro lado do mar viram o que aconteceu e ficaram com muito medo. Então se reuniram e se aproximaram.

Mas todos se apressam para fazer ídolos; o que gravou a imagem na madeira encoraja o que vai cobrir a imagem de ouro. O que prepara as formas anima o ferreiro, dizendo que o ídolo está bem feito e que ficará bem firme quando os pregos forem fixados.
El carpintero animó al platero, y el que alisa con martillo al que batía en el yunque, diciendo, Buena está la soldadura; y afirmólo con clavos, porque no se moviese.
So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth with the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It is ready for the sodering: and he fastened it with nails, that it should not be moved.

He aquí que todos los que se airan contra ti, serán avergonzados y confundidos: serán como nada y perecerán, los que contienden contigo.
Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
Behold, all those who are incensed against you will be disappointed and confounded. Those who strive with you will be like nothing, and shall perish.
Você poderá procurar seus inimigos, mas não vai encontrá-los porque todos eles vão desaparecer, vão ser reduzidos a nada.
Los buscarás, y no los hallarás, los que tienen contienda contigo; serán como nada, y como cosa que no es, aquellos que te hacen guerra.
Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
You will seek them, and won’t find them, even those who contend with you. Those who war against you will be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing.
Pois eu, o Senhor, o seu Deus, estou segurando fortemente a sua mão direita e prometo: ‘Não tenha medo porque eu vou ajudar você’.

Meu pequeno povo de Israel, você que é tão desprezado pelos outros povos, não tenha medo; eu vou ajudá-lo, diz o Senhor, seu Redentor, o Santo de Israel.

Todos verão esse milagre e compreenderão que foi a mão do Senhor, o Santo de Israel, quem fez tudo isso.

“Agora, apresentem a sua causa”, diz o Senhor. “Apresentem as suas provas”, diz o Rei de Israel.
Alegad por vuestra causa, dice Jehová: exhibid vuestros fundamentos, dice el Rey de Jacob.
Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob.

“Venham e nos digam as coisas que vão acontecer. Anunciem as coisas passadas, para que fiquemos sabendo se elas se cumpriram. Ou digam o que vai acontecer no futuro, para podermos ver se, de fato, se cumprirá.
Traigan, y anúnciennos lo que ha de venir: dígannos lo que ha pasado desde el principio, y pondremos nuestro corazón en ello: sepamos también su postrimería, y hacednos entender lo que ha de venir.
Let them bring them forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come.

Sim, isso mesmo! Digam o que vai acontecer no futuro, para sabermos se eles são deuses de fato. Ou então façam o que quiserem, para o bem ou para o mal, para que nos rendamos, cheios de temor!
Dadnos nuevas de lo que ha de ser después, para que sepamos que vosotros sois dioses; ó á lo menos haced bien, ó mal, para que tengamos qué contar, y juntamente nos maravillemos.

Mas vocês não são nada; não podem fazer coisa alguma. Aquele que adora os ídolos é detestável.

“Mas eu chamei um homem para vir do Norte e do Oriente; ele proclamará o meu nome desde o nascente. Ele atacará as nações e vencerá seus reis e príncipes. Ele vai pisá-los como se fossem lama, como o oleiro pisa e amassa o barro para fazer os vasos.

Quem, a não ser eu, anuncia com antecedência o que vai acontecer? E eu faço isso para que vocês todos fiquem sabendo. Ninguém mais é capaz de fazer isso; nenhum desses falsos deuses o revelou, ninguém o fez ouvir, ninguém ouviu uma palavra sequer deles!
¿Quién lo anunció desde el principio, para que sepamos; ó de tiempo atrás, y diremos: Es justo? Cierto, no hay quien anuncie, sí, no hay quien enseñe, ciertamente no hay quien oiga vuestras palabras.
Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and beforetime, that we may say, He is righteous? yea, there is none that sheweth, yea, there is none that declareth, yea, there is none that heareth your words.

Mas entre todos os seus ídolos ninguém foi capaz de dizer uma palavra de conhecimento; nenhum deles pôde me responder.

Todos eles são falsos; eles não podem fazer nada. Todas essas imagens, esses belos ídolos, não passam de uma grande ilusão”.
