Isaías 41

Schweigt mir stille, ihr Inseln, und laßt die Volksstämme die Kraft verjüngen. Lasset sie herzutreten, dann laßt sie reden, laßt zusammen uns dem Gerichte uns nahen.

ESCUCHADME, islas, y esfuércense los pueblos; alléguense, y entonces hablen: estemos juntamente á juicio.

Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment.

Wer hat erweckt vom Aufgang den Gerechten, Ihn gerufen, Ihm auf dem Fuße zu folgen, vor Ihm die Völkerschaften dahingegeben und Ihm Könige unterworfen und sie wie Staub Seinem Schwerte, wie dahingetriebene Stoppel Seinem Bogen gegeben?

¿Quién despertó del oriente al justo, lo llamó para que le siguiese, entregó delante de él naciones, é hízolo enseñorear de reyes; entrególos á su espada como polvo, y á su arco como hojarascas arrebatadas?

Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow.

Who has raised up one from the east? Who called him to his feet in righteousness? He hands over nations to him and makes him rule over kings. He gives them like the dust to his sword, like the driven stubble to his bow.

Er setzt ihnen nach, zieht vorbei im Frieden, Sein Fuß kommt nicht auf den Pfad.

Siguiólos, pasó en paz por camino por donde sus pies nunca habían entrado.

He pursued them, and passed safely; even by the way that he had not gone with his feet.

Wer hat es getan und gemacht? Wer ruft von Anfang den Geschlechtern? Ich, Jehovah, bin der Erste und mit den Letzten bin Ich derselbe.

¿Quién obró é hizo esto? ¿Quién llama las generaciones desde el principio? Yo Jehová, el primero, y yo mismo con los postreros.

Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he.

Who has worked and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I, the LORD, the first, and with the last, I am he.”

Die Inseln sahen es und fürchteten sich, die Enden der Erde erzittern, sie nahen und kommen.

Las islas vieron, y tuvieron temor; los términos de la tierra se espantaron: congregáronse, y vinieron.

The isles saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were afraid, drew near, and came.

The islands have seen, and fear. The ends of the earth tremble. They approach, and come.

Ein Mann steht dem Genossen bei und spricht zu seinem Bruder: Sei stark!

Cada cual ayudó á su cercano; y á su hermano dijo: Esfuérzate.

They helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage.

Everyone helps his neighbor. They say to their brothers, “Be strong!”

Und der Künstler stärkt den Goldschmied, der Glätter mit dem Hammer sagt zum Amboßschläger von der Lötung: Es ist gut, und macht es fest mit Nägeln, auf daß es nicht wanke.

El carpintero animó al platero, y el que alisa con martillo al que batía en el yunque, diciendo, Buena está la soldadura; y afirmólo con clavos, porque no se moviese.

So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth with the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It is ready for the sodering: and he fastened it with nails, that it should not be moved.

So the carpenter encourages the goldsmith. He who smooths with the hammer encourages him who strikes the anvil, saying of the soldering, “It is good;” and he fastens it with nails, that it might not totter.

Du aber, Israel, Mein Knecht Jakob, den Ich erwählt habe, Samen Abrahams, Meines Freundes.

Mas tú, Israel, siervo mío eres; tú, Jacob, á quien yo escogí, simiente de Abraham mi amigo.

But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.

Du, den Ich von der Erde Enden erfaßte und von ihren Säumen rief und zu dir sprach: Mein Knecht bist du; dich habe Ich erwählt und verschmähe dich nicht.

Porque te tomé de los extremos de la tierra, y de sus principales te llamé, y te dije: Mi siervo eres tú; te escogí, y no te deseché.

Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.

you whom I have taken hold of from the ends of the earth, and called from its corners, and said to you, ‘You are my servant. I have chosen you and have not cast you away.’

Fürchte dich nicht, denn Ich bin mit dir; schaue nicht um dich, denn Ich bin dein Gott; Ich stärke dich, ja, Ich stehe dir bei, erhalte dich mit der Rechten Meiner Gerechtigkeit.

No temas, que yo soy contigo; no desmayes, que yo soy tu Dios que te esfuerzo: siempre te ayudaré, siempre te sustentaré con la diestra de mi justicia.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

Siehe, beschämt und zuschanden werden alle, die wider dich entbrannten, sie werden wie Nichts und vergehen, die Männer, die mit dir hadern.

He aquí que todos los que se airan contra ti, serán avergonzados y confundidos: serán como nada y perecerán, los que contienden contigo.

Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.

Behold, all those who are incensed against you will be disappointed and confounded. Those who strive with you will be like nothing, and shall perish.

Du wirst nach ihnen suchen, und sie nicht finden, die Männer, die mit dir zankten. Sie werden nicht mehr sein, zu Ende kommen die Männer, die mit dir stritten.

Los buscarás, y no los hallarás, los que tienen contienda contigo; serán como nada, y como cosa que no es, aquellos que te hacen guerra.

Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.

You will seek them, and won’t find them, even those who contend with you. Those who war against you will be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing.

Denn Ich, Jehovah, bin dein Gott, fasse dich an deiner Rechten, spreche zu dir: Fürchte dich nicht, Ich stehe dir bei.

Porque yo Jehová soy tu Dios, que te ase de tu mano derecha, y te dice: No temas, yo te ayudé.

For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I will help you.’

Fürchte nicht, du Wurm Jakob, ihr Sterbende Israels, Ich stehe dir bei, spricht Jehovah und dein Erlöser, der Heilige Israels.

No temas, gusano de Jacob, oh vosotros los pocos de Israel; yo te socorrí, dice Jehová, y tu Redentor el Santo de Israel.

Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

Don’t be afraid, you worm Jacob, and you men of Israel. I will help you,” says the LORD. “Your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

Siehe, Ich mache dich zur Dreschwalze, zum neuen Dreschwagen, vielzackig; Berge sollst du zerdreschen und zermalmen, und wie Spreu die Hügel machen.

He aquí que yo te he puesto por trillo, trillo nuevo, lleno de dientes: trillarás montes y los molerás, y collados tornarás en tamo.

Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.

Behold, I have made you into a new sharp threshing instrument with teeth. You will thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and will make the hills like chaff.

Du wirst sie worfeln, und der Wind wird sie forttragen, der Wettersturm sie zerstreuen, und in Jehovah wirst du frohlocken, des Heiligen in Israel dich rühmen.

Los aventarás, y los llevará el viento, y esparcirálos el torbellino. Tú empero te regocijarás en Jehová, te gloriarás en el Santo de Israel.

Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.

You will winnow them, and the wind will carry them away, and the whirlwind will scatter them. You will rejoice in the LORD. You will glory in the Holy One of Israel.

Die Elenden und Dürftigen suchen Wasser und keines ist da; vor Durst verlechzt ihre Zunge; Ich, Jehovah, werde sie erhören, Ich, der Gott Israels, verlasse sie nicht.

Los afligidos y menesterosos buscan las aguas, que no hay; secóse de sed su lengua; yo Jehová los oiré, yo el Dios de Israel no los desampararé.

When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.

Auf Abhängen will Ich Flüsse öffnen, und Quellen in der Täler Mitte, zum Wasserteiche die Wüste machen, und dürres Land zu Ausgängen von Wassern.

En los altos abriré ríos, y fuentes en mitad de los llanos: tornaré el desierto en estanques de aguas, y en manaderos de aguas la tierra seca.

I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

Ich gebe in der Wüste die Zeder von Schittah und die Myrte und den Ölbaum, und setze in die Einöde Tanne und Kiefer und Buchsbaum zumal.

Daré en el desierto cedros, espinos, arrayanes, y olivas; pondré en la soledad hayas, olmos, y álamos juntamente;

I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together:

I will put cedar, acacia, myrtle, and oil trees in the wilderness. I will set cypress trees, pine, and box trees together in the desert;

Auf daß sie sehen und wissen, und merken und verstehen zumal, daß Jehovahs Hand dies tut, und der Heilige in Israel es schafft.

Porque vean y conozcan, y adviertan y entiendan todos, que la mano de Jehová hace esto, y que el Santo de Israel lo crió.

That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.

Laßt nahen euren Hader, spricht Jehovah; bringt herbei eure Bekräftigungen, spricht der König Jakobs.

Alegad por vuestra causa, dice Jehová: exhibid vuestros fundamentos, dice el Rey de Jacob.

Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob.

Produce your cause,” says the LORD. “Bring out your strong reasons!” says the King of Jacob.

Laßt sie herbeibringen und uns ansagen, was begegnen wird. Das Erste, was war es? Sagt es an, daß wir es zu Herzen nehmen und wissen das Spätere daraus, oder laßt uns hören, was da kommen wird.

Traigan, y anúnciennos lo que ha de venir: dígannos lo que ha pasado desde el principio, y pondremos nuestro corazón en ello: sepamos también su postrimería, y hacednos entender lo que ha de venir.

Let them bring them forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come.

Sagt an die Zeichen für das Nachherige, daß wir wissen, daß ihr Götter seid, auch Gutes und Böses könnet tun. Dann wollen wir es beschauen und es sehen zumal.

Dadnos nuevas de lo que ha de ser después, para que sepamos que vosotros sois dioses; ó á lo menos haced bien, ó mal, para que tengamos qué contar, y juntamente nos maravillemos.

Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together.

Declare the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that you are gods. Yes, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and see it together.

Siehe, ihr seid aus Nichts und weniger als nichts ist euer Tun, zum Greuel wird, wer euch erwählt.

He aquí que vosotros sois de nada, y vuestras obras de vanidad; abominación el que os escogió.

Behold, ye are of nothing, and your work of nought: an abomination is he that chooseth you.

Behold, you are nothing, and your work is nothing. He who chooses you is an abomination.

Von Mitternacht her erwecke Ich den, der kommt, vom Aufgang der Sonne ihn, der Meinen Namen anruft; und er kommt an die Vorsteher wie an Lehm und gleichwie der Töpfer zerstampft er den Ton.

Del norte desperté uno, y vendrá; del nacimiento del sol llamará en mi nombre: y hollará príncipes como lodo, y como pisa el barro el alfarero.

I have raised up one from the north, and he shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and he shall come upon princes as upon morter, and as the potter treadeth clay.

Wer hat es angesagt vom Anbeginn, daß wir es wußten? und vor Zeiten, daß wir sprächen: Gerecht? Ja, da ist keiner, der es ansagte; ja keiner, der es hören ließ, ja keiner, der eure Reden hörte!

¿Quién lo anunció desde el principio, para que sepamos; ó de tiempo atrás, y diremos: Es justo? Cierto, no hay quien anuncie, sí, no hay quien enseñe, ciertamente no hay quien oiga vuestras palabras.

Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and beforetime, that we may say, He is righteous? yea, there is none that sheweth, yea, there is none that declareth, yea, there is none that heareth your words.

Who has declared it from the beginning, that we may know? and before, that we may say, ‘He is right’? Surely, there is no one who declares. Surely, there is no one who shows. Surely, there is no one who hears your words.

Der Erste bin Ich, Der zu Zion sagt: Siehe, siehe, sie sind da! und Ich sende an Jerusalem einen Heilsboten.

Yo soy el primero que he enseñado estas cosas á Sión, y á Jerusalem daré un portador de alegres nuevas.

The first shall say to Zion, Behold, behold them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings.

I am the first to say to Zion, ‘Behold, look at them;’ and I will give one who brings good news to Jerusalem.

Und Ich sehe hin und da ist kein Mann; und unter ihnen, und da ist keiner, der Rat gäbe, die Ich fragte und die Mir ein Wort erwiderten.

Miré, y no había ninguno; y pregunté de estas cosas, y ningún consejero hubo: preguntéles, y no respondieron palabra.

For I beheld, and there was no man; even among them, and there was no counsellor, that, when I asked of them, could answer a word.

When I look, there is no man, even among them there is no counselor who, when I ask, can answer a word.

Siehe, Unrecht und Nichtigkeit sind alle ihre Werke, Hauch und Leere sind ihre Guß-bilder.

He aquí, todos iniquidad, y las obras de ellos nada: viento y vanidad son sus vaciadizos.

Behold, they are all vanity; their works are nothing: their molten images are wind and confusion.
