Vean a mi Siervo, a quien yo sostengo, mi elegido, en quien me deleito. En él he puesto mi Espíritu, él mostrará lo que es justicia a las naciones del mundo.
HE aquí mi siervo, yo le sostendré; mi escogido, en quien mi alma toma contentamiento: he puesto sobre él mi espíritu, dará juicio á las gentes.
Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
“Behold, my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights: I have put my Spirit on him. He will bring justice to the nations.
Será apacible, no gritará ni reñirá en las calles.
No clamará, ni alzará, ni hará oir su voz en las plazas.
He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.
He will not shout, nor raise his voice, nor cause it to be heard in the street.
No quebrará la caña maltratada, ni apagará la llama vacilante. Se encargará de que se haga plena justicia a las víctimas de injusticia,
No quebrará la caña cascada, ni apagará el pábilo que humeare: sacará el juicio á verdad.
A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
He won’t break a bruised reed. He won’t quench a dimly burning wick. He will faithfully bring justice.
y no se dará por satisfecho hasta que la verdad y la justicia prevalezcan en toda la tierra, y hasta que las lejanas tierras de ultramar hayan puesto en él su confianza.
No se cansará, ni desmayará, hasta que ponga en la tierra juicio; y las islas esperarán su ley.
He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

El Señor Dios que creó el cielo y lo extendió, y creó la tierra y cuanto hay en ella, y que da vida, aliento y espíritu a todos en el mundo, es el que dice:
Así dice el Dios Jehová, el Criador de los cielos, y el que los extiende; el que extiende la tierra y sus verduras; el que da respiración al pueblo que mora sobre ella, y espíritu á los que por ella andan:
Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

Yo, el Señor, te he llamado para demostrar mi justicia, yo te cuidaré y te sostendré, porque te he dado a mi pueblo como confirmación personal de mi pacto con ellos. Serás también luz que guíe las naciones hacia mí.
Yo Jehová te he llamado en justicia, y te tendré por la mano; te guardaré y te pondré por alianza del pueblo, por luz de las gentes;
I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

Darás vista a los ciegos y libertarás a los que yacen en prisión de tinieblas y desaliento.
Para que abras ojos de ciegos, para que saques de la cárcel á los presos, y de casas de prisión á los que están de asiento en tinieblas.
To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

¡Yo soy el Señor! Ese es mi nombre y no daré a ningún otro mi gloria, no compartiré mi alabanza con ídolos tallados.

I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

Todo lo que yo profeticé se cumplió, y ahora volveré a profetizar; te diré el futuro antes que acontezca.
Las cosas primeras he aquí vinieron, y yo anuncio nuevas cosas: antes que salgan á luz, yo os las haré notorias.

Entonen un canto nuevo al Señor; entonen sus alabanzas, todos los que habitan en los más remotos rincones de la tierra. ¡Canta, oh mar! ¡Canten todos los que moran en tierras distantes de ultramar!
Cantad á Jehová un nuevo cántico, su alabanza desde el fin de la tierra; los que descendéis á la mar, y lo que la hinche, las islas y los moradores de ellas.
Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.

Únanse al coro, ciudades del desierto: Cedar y Selá. Y ustedes también, los que moran en las cumbres de los montes.
Alcen la voz el desierto y sus ciudades, las aldeas donde habita Cedar: canten los moradores de la Piedra, y desde la cumbre de los montes den voces de júbilo.
Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.

Que las costas del oeste glorifiquen al Señor y canten su gran poder.
Den gloria á Jehová, y prediquen sus loores en las islas.

El Señor será poderoso guerrero, lleno de ira contra sus enemigos. Lanzará un fuerte grito de guerra y vencerá.
Jehová saldrá como gigante, y como hombre de guerra despertará celo: gritará, voceará, esforzaráse sobre sus enemigos.
The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.

Él callaba desde hace tiempo. Se había dominado, pero ahora desatará su ira. Gemirá y llorará como mujer que da a luz.
Desde el siglo he callado, tenido he silencio, y heme detenido: daré voces como la que está de parto; asolaré y devoraré juntamente.
I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.

Aplanará los montes y collados y quemará su verdor. Secará los ríos y estanques.
Tornaré en soledad montes y collados, haré secar toda su hierba; los ríos tornaré en islas, y secaré los estanques.

Al ciego Israel lo conducirá por sendas que nunca antes vio. Ante ellos hará resplandecer las tinieblas, y allanará y enderezará el camino que les espera, no los abandonará.
Y guiaré los ciegos por camino que no sabían, haréles pisar por las sendas que no habían conocido; delante de ellos tornaré las tinieblas en luz, y los rodeos en llanura. Estas cosas les haré, y no los desampararé.

Pero los que confían en ídolos y los llaman dioses tendrán enorme desengaño, serán desechados.
Serán vueltos atrás, y en extremo confundidos, los que confían en las esculturas, y dicen á las estatuas de fundición: Vosotros sois nuestros dioses.
They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.
“Those who trust in engraved images, who tell molten images, ‘You are our gods,’ will be turned back. They will be utterly disappointed.
¡Oh, qué ciegos y sordos son para con Dios! ¿Por qué no quieren escuchar? ¿Por qué no quieren ver?
Sordos, oid; y vosotros ciegos, mirad para ver.
Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.
“Hear, you deaf, and look, you blind, that you may see.
¿Quién hay en el mundo tan ciego como mi pueblo, destinado a ser mi mensajero de la verdad? ¿Quién tan ciego como mi «consagrado», el «Siervo del Señor»?
¿Quién ciego, sino mi siervo? ¿quién sordo, como mi mensajero que envié? ¿quién ciego como el perfecto, y ciego como el siervo de Jehová,
Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD’s servant?
Who is blind, but my servant? Or who is as deaf as my messenger whom I send? Who is as blind as he who is at peace, and as blind as the LORD’s servant?
Ven y comprenden lo bueno, pero no hacen caso, no lo ponen por obra; oyen, pero no quieren entender.
Que ve muchas cosas y no advierte, que abre los oídos y no oye?
Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.
You see many things, but don’t observe. His ears are open, but he doesn’t listen.
El Señor ha enaltecido su ley y la ha hecho verdaderamente gloriosa. Mediante ella había planeado mostrarle al mundo que él es justo.
Jehová se complació por amor de su justicia en magnificar la ley y engrandecerla.
The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

¡Pero qué espectáculo da su pueblo, los encargados de mostrarle a todo el mundo la gloria de su ley, pues son víctimas de robo y están esclavizados, encarcelados, atrapados, presa de todos, sin quién los proteja!
Mas este es pueblo saqueado y hollado, todos ellos enlazados en cavernas y escondidos en cárceles: son puestos á saco, y no hay quien libre; hollados, y no hay quien diga, Restituid.
But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.

¿No hay entre ustedes siquiera uno que saque enseñanzas de estas lecciones del pasado y vea la ruina que les espera?
¿Quién de vosotros oirá esto? ¿quién atenderá y escuchará en orden al porvernir?
Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come?
Who is there among you who will give ear to this? Who will listen and hear for the time to come?
¿Quién permitió que a Israel se le robara y dañara? ¿No fue el Señor? Fue el Señor contra el cual pecaron, porque no quisieron ir a donde él los enviaba ni escuchar sus leyes.
¿Quién dió á Jacob en presa, y entregó á Israel á saqueadores? ¿No fué Jehová, contra quien pecamos? y no quisieron andar en sus caminos, ni oyeron su ley.
Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.
Who gave Jacob as plunder, and Israel to the robbers? Didn’t the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? For they would not walk in his ways, and they disobeyed his law.
Por eso derramó el Señor tan grande furia e ira sobre su pueblo y lo destruyó en batalla. Sin embargo, aun sobre el fuego y quemándose, no entienden el porqué: ¡Está Dios deseoso de que se arrepientan!
Por tanto derramó sobre él el furor de su ira, y fuerza de guerra; púsole fuego de todas partes, empero no entendió; y encendióle, mas no ha parado mientes.
Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.
