¡Mira! Aquí está mi siervo, el que yo sostengo; mi elegido que me complace. He puesto mi Espíritu sobre él, y él mostrará a las naciones lo que es correcto.
HE aquí mi siervo, yo le sostendré; mi escogido, en quien mi alma toma contentamiento: he puesto sobre él mi espíritu, dará juicio á las gentes.
Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
“Behold, my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights: I have put my Spirit on him. He will bring justice to the nations.
No gritará ni vociferará; no levantará la voz en la calle.
No clamará, ni alzará, ni hará oir su voz en las plazas.
He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.
He will not shout, nor raise his voice, nor cause it to be heard in the street.
No romperá la caña dañada ni apagará la mecha que arde. Se asegurará fielmente de que todos sean tratados con justicia.
No quebrará la caña cascada, ni apagará el pábilo que humeare: sacará el juicio á verdad.
A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
He won’t break a bruised reed. He won’t quench a dimly burning wick. He will faithfully bring justice.
No se dará por vencido ni se desanimará hasta que haya conseguido que la justicia se mantenga en todo el mundo. Incluso las tierras de ultramar esperarán sus enseñanzas.
No se cansará, ni desmayará, hasta que ponga en la tierra juicio; y las islas esperarán su ley.
He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.
He will not fail nor be discouraged, until he has set justice in the earth, and the islands wait for his law.”
Esto es lo que dice Dios, el Señor, el que creó los cielos y los extendió, el que hizo la tierra y todo lo que hay en ella, el que da aliento a los que están en ella y vida a los que la habitan:
Así dice el Dios Jehová, el Criador de los cielos, y el que los extiende; el que extiende la tierra y sus verduras; el que da respiración al pueblo que mora sobre ella, y espíritu á los que por ella andan:
Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

“Yo, el Señor, te he llamado para que demuestres lo que es correcto, y te llevaré de la mano. Te cuidaré y te daré como señal de mi acuerdo con los pueblos y como luz para las naciones.
Yo Jehová te he llamado en justicia, y te tendré por la mano; te guardaré y te pondré por alianza del pueblo, por luz de las gentes;
I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

Harás ver a los ciegos, liberarás a los que están encerrados y sacarás de la cárcel a los que están en la oscuridad.
Para que abras ojos de ciegos, para que saques de la cárcel á los presos, y de casas de prisión á los que están de asiento en tinieblas.
To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

“¡Yo soy el Señor, ese es mi nombre! No doy mi honor a nadie más; no doy mi alabanza a los ídolos.
Yo Jehová: este es mi nombre; y á otro no daré mi gloria, ni mi alabanza á esculturas.
I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
“I am the LORD. That is my name. I will not give my glory to another, nor my praise to engraved images.
Fíjense que lo que predije se ha hecho realidad, al igual que las cosas nuevas que les estoy diciendo ahora. Te digo lo que sucederá antes de que suceda”.
Las cosas primeras he aquí vinieron, y yo anuncio nuevas cosas: antes que salgan á luz, yo os las haré notorias.
Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

¡Canten una nueva canción al Señor! Canten alabanzas desde cualquier lugar de la tierra, ustedes que navegan por el mar y todo lo que hay en él, ustedes las islas y todos los que viven en ellas.
Cantad á Jehová un nuevo cántico, su alabanza desde el fin de la tierra; los que descendéis á la mar, y lo que la hinche, las islas y los moradores de ellas.

Que grite la gente del desierto y de sus ciudades; que grite en voz alta la gente de las aldeas de Cedar. Que los pueblos de Sela canten de alegría; que griten desde las cimas de las montañas.
Alcen la voz el desierto y sus ciudades, las aldeas donde habita Cedar: canten los moradores de la Piedra, y desde la cumbre de los montes den voces de júbilo.
Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.

Como un poderoso guerrero marchará el Señor, como un soldado aguerrido sale con valor. Da su grito de guerra, gritando mientras lucha y derrota a sus enemigos.
Jehová saldrá como gigante, y como hombre de guerra despertará celo: gritará, voceará, esforzaráse sobre sus enemigos.
The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.

“Durante mucho tiempo no dije nada, me callé y me contuve. Pero ahora, como una mujer que da a luz, gemiré y jadearé.
Desde el siglo he callado, tenido he silencio, y heme detenido: daré voces como la que está de parto; asolaré y devoraré juntamente.

Secaré las montañas y las colinas, y haré que se marchite todo su verdor. Convertiré los ríos en islas y secaré los estanques.

Llevaré a los ciegos por un camino que no conocen; los guiaré por senderos que no conocen. Convertiré las tinieblas en luz ante ellos, y allanaré las asperezas. Esto es lo que voy a hacer por ellos; no los defraudaré.

Serán vueltos atrás, y en extremo confundidos, los que confían en las esculturas, y dicen á las estatuas de fundición: Vosotros sois nuestros dioses.
They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.
“Those who trust in engraved images, who tell molten images, ‘You are our gods,’ will be turned back. They will be utterly disappointed.
“¡Escuchen, sordos! ¡Miren y vean, ciegos!
Sordos, oid; y vosotros ciegos, mirad para ver.
Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.
“Hear, you deaf, and look, you blind, that you may see.
¿Quién es ciego como mi siervo? ¿Quién es sordo como mi mensajero que yo envío? ¿Quién es tan ciego como el pueblo del acuerdo? ¿Quién es tan ciego como el siervo del Señor?
¿Quién ciego, sino mi siervo? ¿quién sordo, como mi mensajero que envié? ¿quién ciego como el perfecto, y ciego como el siervo de Jehová,
Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD’s servant?

Has mirado muchas cosas pero no has visto realmente; has oído pero nunca has escuchado realmente”.
Que ve muchas cosas y no advierte, que abre los oídos y no oye?
Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.
You see many things, but don’t observe. His ears are open, but he doesn’t listen.
Como el Señor hace lo que es justo, quiso mostrar lo importantes y maravillosas que eran sus instrucciones.
Jehová se complació por amor de su justicia en magnificar la ley y engrandecerla.
The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

Pero este pueblo terminó robado y asaltado, todos atrapados en agujeros o escondidos en prisiones. Han sido robados como un botín, sin que nadie los salve de ser el premio de alguien, sin que nadie les diga “¡Devuélvanlos!”
Mas este es pueblo saqueado y hollado, todos ellos enlazados en cavernas y escondidos en cárceles: son puestos á saco, y no hay quien libre; hollados, y no hay quien diga, Restituid.
But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.

¿Quién de ustedes va a escuchar esto, o a prestar atención después?
¿Quién de vosotros oirá esto? ¿quién atenderá y escuchará en orden al porvernir?
Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come?
Who is there among you who will give ear to this? Who will listen and hear for the time to come?
¿Quién dejó que Jacob fuera tomado como botín; quién dejó que Israel fuera tomado por ladrones? ¿No fue el Señor contra quien pecamos? El pueblo no estaba dispuesto a seguir sus caminos, y se negaba a obedecer su ley.
¿Quién dió á Jacob en presa, y entregó á Israel á saqueadores? ¿No fué Jehová, contra quien pecamos? y no quisieron andar en sus caminos, ni oyeron su ley.
Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.
Who gave Jacob as plunder, and Israel to the robbers? Didn’t the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? For they would not walk in his ways, and they disobeyed his law.
Así que derramó sobre ellos su furia y la violencia de la guerra. A pesar de que estaban rodeados de llamas, seguían sin entender. El fuego los abrasaba, pero seguían sin tomarse en serio la situación.
Por tanto derramó sobre él el furor de su ira, y fuerza de guerra; púsole fuego de todas partes, empero no entendió; y encendióle, mas no ha parado mientes.
Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.
