Isaías 43

1Und nun spricht der HERR, der dich geschaffen hat, Jakob, und dich gemacht hat, Israel: Fürchte dich nicht, denn ich habe dich erlöst; ich habe dich bei deinem Namen gerufen; du bist mein!
2Denn so du durch Wasser gehst, will ich bei dir sein, daß dich die Ströme nicht sollen ersäufen; und so du ins Feuer gehst, sollst du nicht brennen, und die Flamme soll dich nicht versengen.
3Denn ich bin der HERR, dein Gott, der Heilige in Israel, dein Heiland. Ich habe Ägypten für dich als Lösegeld gegeben, Mohren und Seba an deine Statt.
4Weil du so wert bist vor meinen Augen geachtet, mußt du auch herrlich sein, und ich habe dich lieb; darum gebe ich Menschen an deine Statt und Völker für deine Seele.
5So fürchte dich nun nicht; denn ich bin bei dir. Ich will vom Morgen deinen Samen bringen und will dich vom Abend sammeln
6und will sagen gegen Mitternacht: Gib her! und gegen Mittag: Wehre nicht! Bringe meine Söhne von ferneher und meine Töchter von der Welt Ende,
7alle, die mit meinem Namen genannt sind, die ich geschaffen habe zu meiner Herrlichkeit und zubereitet und gemacht.
8Laß hervortreten das blinde Volk, welches doch Augen hat, und die Tauben, die doch Ohren haben.
9Laßt alle Heiden zusammenkommen zuhauf und sich die Völker versammeln. Wer ist unter ihnen, der solches verkündigen möge und uns hören lasse, was zuvor geweissagt ist? Laßt sie ihre Zeugen darstellen und beweisen, so wird man's hören und sagen; Es ist die Wahrheit.
10Ihr aber seid meine Zeugen, spricht der HERR, und mein Knecht, den ich erwählt habe, auf daß ihr wisset und mir glaubt und versteht, das ich's bin. Vor mir ist kein Gott gemacht, so wird auch nach mir keiner sein.
11Ich, ich bin der HERR, und ist außer mir kein Heiland.
12Ich habe es verkündigt und habe auch geholfen und habe es euch sagen lassen, und war kein fremder Gott unter euch. Ihr seid meine Zeugen, spricht der HERR; so bin ich euer Gott.
13Auch bin ich, ehe denn ein Tag war, und ist niemand, der aus meiner Hand erretten kann. Ich wirke; wer will's abwenden?
14So spricht der HERR, euer Erlöser, der Heilige in Israel: Um euretwillen habe ich gen Babel geschickt und habe alle Flüchtigen hinuntergetrieben und die klagenden Chaldäer in ihre Schiffe gejagt.
15Ich bin der HERR, euer Heiliger, der ich Israel geschaffen habe, euer König.
16So spricht der HERR, der im Meer Weg und in starken Wassern Bahn macht,
17der ausziehen läßt Wagen und Roß, Heer und Macht, daß sie auf einem Haufen daliegen und nicht aufstehen, daß sie verlöschen, wie ein Docht verlischt:
18Gedenkt nicht an das Alte und achtet nicht auf das Vorige!
19Denn siehe, ich will ein Neues machen; jetzt soll es aufwachsen, und ihr werdet's erfahren, daß ich Weg in der Wüste mache und Wasserströme in der Einöde,
20daß mich das Tier auf dem Felde preise, die Schakale und Strauße. Denn ich will Wasser in der Wüste und Ströme in der Einöde geben, zu tränken mein Volk, meine Auserwählten.
21Dies Volk habe ich mir zugerichtet; es soll meinen Ruhm erzählen.
22Nicht, daß du mich hättest gerufen, Jakob, oder daß du um mich gearbeitet hättest, Israel.
23Mir hast du nicht gebracht Schafe deines Brandopfers noch mich geehrt mit deinen Opfern; mich hat deines Dienstes nicht gelüstet im Speisopfer, habe auch nicht Lust an deiner Arbeit im Weihrauch;
24mir hast du nicht um Geld Kalmus gekauft; mich hast du mit dem Fett deiner Opfer nicht gesättigt. Ja, mir hast du Arbeit gemacht mit deinen Sünden und hast mir Mühe gemacht mit deinen Missetaten.
25Ich, ich tilge deine Übertretungen um meinetwillen und gedenke deiner Sünden nicht.
26Erinnere mich; laß uns miteinander rechten; sage an, wie du gerecht willst sein.
27Deine Voreltern haben gesündigt, und deine Lehrer haben wider mich mißgehandelt.
28Darum habe ich die Fürsten des Heiligtums entheiligt und habe Jakob zum Bann gemacht und Israel zum Hohn.

1Y AHORA, así dice Jehová Criador tuyo, oh Jacob, y Formador tuyo, oh Israel: No temas, porque yo te redimí; te puse nombre, mío eres tú.
2Cuando pasares por las aguas, yo seré contigo; y por los ríos, no te anegarán. Cuando pasares por el fuego, no te quemarás, ni la llama arderá en ti.
3Porque yo Jehová Dios tuyo, el Santo de Israel, soy tu Salvador: á Egipto he dado por tu rescate, á Etiopía y á Seba por ti.
4Porque en mis ojos fuiste de grande estima, fuiste honorable, y yo te amé: daré pues hombres por ti, y naciones por tu alma.
5No temas, porque yo soy contigo; del oriente traeré tu generación, y del occidente te recogeré.
6Diré al aquilón: Da acá; y al mediodía: No detengas: trae de lejos mis hijos, y mis hijas de los términos de la tierra,
7Todos los llamados de mi nombre; para gloria mía los críe, los formé y los hice.
8Sacad al pueblo ciego que tiene ojos, y á los sordos que tienen oídos.
9Congréguense á una todas las gentes, y júntense todos los pueblos: ¿quién de ellos hay que nos dé nuevas de esto, y que nos haga oir las cosas primeras? Presenten sus testigos, y justifíquense; oigan, y digan: Verdad.
10Vosotros sois mis testigos, dice Jehová, y mi siervo que yo escogí; para que me conozcáis y creáis, y entendáis que yo mismo soy; antes de mí no fué formado Dios, ni lo será después de mí.
11Yo, yo Jehová; y fuera de mí no hay quien salve.
12Yo anuncié, y salvé, é hice oir, y no hubo entre vosotros extraño. Vosotros pues sois mis testigos, dice Jehová, que yo soy Dios.
13Aun antes que hubiera día, yo era; y no hay quien de mi mano libre: si yo hiciere, ¿quién lo estorbará?
14Así dice Jehová, Redentor vuestro, el Santo de Israel: Por vosotros envié á Babilonia, é hice descender fugitivos todos ellos, y clamor de Caldeos en las naves.
15Yo Jehová, Santo vuestro, Criador de Israel, vuestro Rey.
16Así dice Jehová, el que da camino en la mar, y senda en las aguas impetuosas;
17El que saca carro y caballo, ejército y fuerza; caen juntamente para no levantarse; quedan extinguidos, como pábilo quedan apagados.
18No os acordéis de las cosas pasadas, ni traigáis á memoria las cosas antiguas.
19He aquí que yo hago cosa nueva: presto saldrá á luz: ¿no la sabréis? Otra vez pondré camino en el desierto, y ríos en la soledad.
20La bestia del campo me honrará, los chacales, y los pollos del avestruz: porque daré aguas en el desierto, ríos en la soledad, para que beba mi pueblo, mi escogido.
21Este pueblo crié para mí; mis alabanzas publicará.
22Y no me invocaste á mí, oh Jacob; antes, de mí te cansaste, oh Israel.
23No me trajiste á mí los animales de tus holocaustos, ni á mí me honraste con tus sacrificios: no te hice servir con presente, ni te hice fatigar con perfume.
24No compraste para mí caña aromática por dinero, ni me saciaste con la grosura de tus sacrificios; antes me hiciste servir en tus pecados, me has fatigado con tus maldades.
25Yo, yo soy el que borro tus rebeliones por amor de mí; y no me acordaré de tus pecados.
26Hazme acordar, entremos en juicio juntamente; relata tú para abonarte.
27Tu primer padre pecó, y tus enseñadores prevaricaron contra mí.
28Por tanto, yo profané los príncipes del santuario, y puse por anatema á Jacob, y por oprobio á Israel.

1But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
2When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
3For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
4Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
5Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
6I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
7Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
8Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.
9Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.
10Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
11I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
12I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.
13Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
14Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.
15I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.
16Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
17Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.
18Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
20The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.
21This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.
22But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel.
23Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense.
24Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.
25I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
26Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.
27Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me.
28Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.
World English Bible
1But now the LORD who created you, Jacob, and he who formed you, Israel, says: “Don’t be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine.
2When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.
3For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I have given Egypt as your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place.
4Since you have been precious and honored in my sight, and I have loved you, therefore I will give people in your place, and nations instead of your life.
5Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. I will bring your offspring from the east, and gather you from the west.
6I will tell the north, ‘Give them up!’ and tell the south, ‘Don’t hold them back! Bring my sons from far away, and my daughters from the ends of the earth—
7everyone who is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory, whom I have formed, yes, whom I have made.’”
8Bring out the blind people who have eyes, and the deaf who have ears.
9Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the peoples be assembled. Who among them can declare this, and show us former things? Let them bring their witnesses, that they may be justified, or let them hear, and say, “That is true.”
10“You are my witnesses,” says the LORD, “With my servant whom I have chosen; that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he. Before me there was no God formed, neither will there be after me.
11I myself am the LORD. Besides me, there is no savior.
12I have declared, I have saved, and I have shown, and there was no strange god among you. Therefore you are my witnesses”, says the LORD, “and I am God.
13Yes, since the day was, I am he. There is no one who can deliver out of my hand. I will work, and who can hinder it?”
14The LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says: “For your sake, I have sent to Babylon, and I will bring all of them down as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, in the ships of their rejoicing.
15I am the LORD, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.”
16The LORD, who makes a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters,
17who brings out the chariot and horse, the army and the mighty man (they lie down together, they shall not rise; they are extinct, they are quenched like a wick) says:
18“Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old.
19Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
20The animals of the field, the jackals and the ostriches, shall honor me, because I give water in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen,
21the people which I formed for myself, that they might declare my praise.
22Yet you have not called on me, Jacob; but you have been weary of me, Israel.
23You have not brought me any of your sheep for burnt offerings, neither have you honored me with your sacrifices. I have not burdened you with offerings, nor wearied you with frankincense.
24You have bought me no sweet cane with money, nor have you filled me with the fat of your sacrifices, but you have burdened me with your sins. You have wearied me with your iniquities.
25I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake; and I will not remember your sins.
26Put me in remembrance. Let us plead together. Declare your case, that you may be justified.
27Your first father sinned, and your teachers have transgressed against me.
28Therefore I will profane the princes of the sanctuary; and I will make Jacob a curse, and Israel an insult.”
