8¡Oh reino ebrio de placeres, que vives a tus anchas, vanagloriándote de ser el más grande de la tierra, escucha la sentencia que mi tribunal dicta sobre tus pecados! Tú dices: «Sólo yo soy dios. No enviudaré jamás, jamás perderé a mis hijos».

8Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:
