Isaías 47

Steige herab und setze dich in den Staub, o Jungfrau, du Tochter Babel! Setze dich auf die Erde, ohne Thron, du Tochter der Chaldäer! Denn man wird dich nicht mehr die Weichliche und Verzärtelte nennen!

DESCIENDE, y siéntate en el polvo, virgen hija de Babilonia, siéntate en la tierra sin trono, hija de los Caldeos: que nunca más te llamarán tierna y delicada.

Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate.

“Come down and sit in the dust, virgin daughter of Babylon. Sit on the ground without a throne, daughter of the Chaldeans. For you will no longer be called tender and delicate.

Nimm die Mühle hervor und mahle Mehl; nimm deinen Schleier ab und hebe die Schleppe auf; entblöße die Schenkel, wate durch die Flüsse.

Toma el molino, y muele harina: descubre tus guedejas, descalza los pies, descubre las piernas, pasa los ríos.

Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers.

Take the millstones and grind flour. Remove your veil, lift up your skirt, uncover your legs, and wade through the rivers.

Deine Blöße soll enthüllt und deine Schande gesehen werden; Rache will ich nehmen und keines Menschen schonen.

Descubierta será tu vergüenza, y tu deshonor será visto: tomaré venganza, y no encontraré hombre.

Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man.

Your nakedness will be uncovered. Yes, your shame will be seen. I will take vengeance, and will spare no one.”

Unser Erlöser heißt HERR der Heerscharen, der Heilige Israels.

Nuestro Redentor, Jehová de los ejércitos es su nombre, el Santo de Israel.

As for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.

Setze dich schweigend hin und gehe in die Finsternis, du Tochter der Chaldäer! Denn man wird dich nicht mehr Beherrscherin der Königreiche nennen.

Siéntate, calla, y entra en tinieblas, hija de los Caldeos: porque nunca más te llamarán señora de reinos.

Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms.

“Sit in silence, and go into darkness, daughter of the Chaldeans. For you shall no longer be called the mistress of kingdoms.

Ich war über mein Volk so erzürnt, daß ich mein Erbteil entweihte und in deine Gewalt gab; du aber hast ihnen keine Barmherzigkeit bewiesen, sondern auch auf den Greis ein schweres Joch gelegt,

Enojéme contra mi pueblo, profané mi heredad, y entreguélos en tu mano: no les hiciste misericordias; sobre el viejo agravaste mucho tu yugo.

I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.

I was angry with my people. I profaned my inheritance and gave them into your hand. You showed them no mercy. You laid a very heavy yoke on the aged.

und du hast gedacht: «Ich werde ewiglich Gebieterin sein», und hast dabei solches nicht zu Herzen genommen und nicht gedacht, wie es hernach gehen würde.

Y dijiste: Para siempre seré señora: y no has pensado en esto, ni te acordaste de tu postrimería.

And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it.

You said, ‘I will be a princess forever,’ so that you didn’t lay these things to your heart, nor did you remember the results.

Nun aber höre, du Üppige, die da sorglos sitzt, die in ihrem Herzen also spricht: «Ich bin's und sonst niemand! Ich werde nicht als Witwe dasitzen, noch die Beraubung meiner Kinder erfahren!»

Oye pues ahora esto, delicada, la que está sentada confiadamente, la que dice en su corazón: Yo soy, y fuera de mí no hay más; no quedaré viuda, ni conoceré orfandad.

Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:

“Now therefore hear this, you who are given to pleasures, who sit securely, who say in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me. I won’t sit as a widow, neither will I know the loss of children.’

Dennoch wird dir beides begegnen auf einen Tag, unversehens, daß du deiner Kinder beraubt und Witwe werden wirst; mit großer Macht werden sie dich überfallen trotz der Menge deiner Zaubereien und der großen Anzahl deiner Beschwörungen.

Estas dos cosas te vendrán de repente en un mismo día, orfandad y viudez: en toda su perfección vendrán sobre ti, por la multitud de tus adivinanzas, y por la copia de tus muchos agüeros.

But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.

But these two things will come to you in a moment in one day: the loss of children and widowhood. They will come on you in their full measure, in the multitude of your sorceries, and the great abundance of your enchantments.

Denn du hast dich sicher geglaubt in deiner Bosheit und gesprochen: Es sieht mich niemand! Deine Weisheit und deine Wissenschaft haben dich verführt, daß du bei dir selbst gedacht hast: Ich bin's und sonst niemand!

Porque te confiaste en tu maldad, diciendo: Nadie me ve. Tu sabiduría y tu misma ciencia te engañaron, y dijiste en tu corazón: Yo, y no más.

For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.

For you have trusted in your wickedness. You have said, ‘No one sees me.’ Your wisdom and your knowledge has perverted you. You have said in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me.’

Darum wird Unglück über dich kommen, das du nicht wegzaubern kannst; und Verderben wird dich überfallen, welches du nicht abzuwenden vermagst; plötzlich wird eine Verwüstung über dich kommen, deren du dich nicht versiehst.

Vendrá pues sobre ti mal, cuyo nacimiento no sabrás: caerá sobre ti quebrantamiento, el cual no podrás remediar: y destrucción que no sabrás, vendrá de repente sobre ti.

Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.

Therefore disaster will come on you. You won’t know when it dawns. Mischief will fall on you. You won’t be able to put it away. Desolation will come on you suddenly, which you don’t understand.

Tritt doch hin mit deinen Beschwörungen und mit der Menge deiner Zaubereien, womit du dich von Jugend auf abgemüht hast! Vielleicht vermagst du zu helfen; vielleicht flößest du Schrecken ein.

Estáte ahora en tus encantamentos, y con la multitud de tus agüeros, en los cuales te fatigaste desde tu niñez; quizá podrás mejorarte, quizá te fortificarás.

Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail.

“Stand now with your enchantments and with the multitude of your sorceries, in which you have labored from your youth, as if you might profit, as if you might prevail.

Du bist müde geworden von der Menge deiner Beratungen. So laß nun herzutreten und dich retten, die den Himmel einteilen, die Sternseher, die alle Neumonde kundtun, was über dich kommen soll!

Haste fatigado en la multitud de tus consejos. Parezcan ahora y defiéndante los contempladores de los cielos, los especuladores de las estrellas, los que contaban los meses, para pronosticar lo que vendrá sobre ti.

Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.

You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels. Now let the astrologers, the stargazers, and the monthly prognosticators stand up and save you from the things that will happen to you.

Siehe, sie sind geworden wie Stoppeln, welche das Feuer verbrannt hat; sie werden ihre Seele nicht vor der Gewalt der Flammen erretten; wird es doch keine Kohlenglut sein, dabei man sich wärmen, und kein Ofen, dabei man sitzen könnte.

He aquí que serán como tamo; fuego los quemará, no salvarán sus vidas del poder de la llama; no quedará brasa para calentarse, ni lumbre á la cual se sienten.

Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.

Behold, they are like stubble. The fire will burn them. They won’t deliver themselves from the power of the flame. It won’t be a coal to warm at or a fire to sit by.

So ist es dir mit denen ergangen, um welche du dich gemüht, mit denen du Handel getrieben hast von Jugend auf: ein jeder irrt auf seinem eigenen Weg davon, und keiner hilft dir!

Así te serán aquellos con quienes te fatigaste, tus negociantes desde tu niñez: cada uno echará por su camino, no habrá quien te salve.

Thus shall they be unto thee with whom thou hast laboured, even thy merchants, from thy youth: they shall wander every one to his quarter; none shall save thee.

The things that you labored in will be like this: those who have trafficked with you from your youth will each wander in his own way. There will be no one to save you.
