C'est pour l'amour de moi, pour l'amour de moi que je le fais ; car comment mon nom serait-il profané ? Je ne donnerai pas ma gloire à un autre.

Por mí, por amor de mí lo haré, para que no sea amancillado mi nombre, y mi honra no la daré á otro.

For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.

For my own sake, for my own sake, I will do it; for how would my name be profaned? I will not give my glory to another.
