Isaías 48

Écoutez ceci, maison de Jacob, vous qui êtes appelés du nom d’Israël et qui sortez des eaux de Juda, qui jurez par le nom de l’Éternel, et faites mention du Dieu d’Israël, †mais non pas en vérité ni en justice.

OID esto, casa de Jacob, que os llamáis del nombre de Israel, los que salieron de las aguas de Judá, los que juran en el nombre de Jehová, y hacen memoria del Dios de Israel, mas no en verdad ni en justicia:

Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.

“Hear this, house of Jacob, you who are called by the name of Israel, and have come out of the waters of Judah. You swear by the LORD’s name, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness—

Car ils se nomment d’après la ville sainte, et s’appuient sur le Dieu d’Israël : l’Éternel des armées est son nom.

Porque de la santa ciudad se nombran, y en el Dios de Israel confían: su nombre, Jehová de los ejércitos.

For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God of Israel; The LORD of hosts is his name.

for they call themselves citizens of the holy city, and rely on the God of Israel; the LORD of Armies is his name.

J’ai déclaré les premières choses dès longtemps, et elles sont sorties de ma bouche et je les ai fait entendre ; je les ai faites subitement, et elles sont arrivées.

Lo que pasó, ya antes lo dije; y de mi boca salió; publiquélo, hícelo presto, y vino á ser.

I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.

I have declared the former things from of old. Yes, they went out of my mouth, and I revealed them. I did them suddenly, and they happened.

Parce que je savais que tu es obstiné, et que ton cou est une barre de fer, et ton front, d’airain,

Porque conozco que eres duro, y nervio de hierro tu cerviz, y tu frente de metal,

Because I knew that thou art obstinate, and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass;

Because I knew that you are obstinate, and your neck is an iron sinew, and your brow bronze;

je te les ai déclarées dès longtemps ; avant qu’elles arrivent je te les ai fait entendre, de peur que tu ne dises : Mon idole les a faites ; et mon image taillée ou mon image de fonte les a ordonnées.

Díjetelo ya días há; antes que viniese te lo enseñé, porque no dijeses: Mi ídolo lo hizo, mis estatuas de escultura y de fundición mandaron estas cosas.

I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them.

therefore I have declared it to you from of old; before it came to pass I showed it to you; lest you should say, ‘My idol has done them. My engraved image and my molten image has commanded them.’

Tu les as entendues, vois-les tout entières. Et vous, ne voulez-vous pas les déclarer ? Je t’ai fait entendre des choses nouvelles, dès maintenant, et des choses cachées et que tu n’as pas connues.

Oístelo, vístelo todo; ¿y no lo anunciaréis vosotros? Ahora pues te he hecho oir nuevas y ocultas cosas que tú no sabías.

Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them.

You have heard it. Now see all this. And you, won’t you declare it? “I have shown you new things from this time, even hidden things, which you have not known.

Elles sont créées maintenant, et non dès longtemps ; et avant ce jour tu ne les as pas entendues, de peur que tu ne dises : Voici, je les savais !

Ahora han sido criadas, no en días pasados; ni antes de este día las habías oído, porque no digas: He aquí que yo lo sabía.

They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them.

They are created now, and not from of old. Before today, you didn’t hear them, lest you should say, ‘Behold, I knew them.’

Et tu n’as pas entendu, et tu n’as pas su, et dès longtemps ton oreille ne s’est pas ouverte ; car je †te connais : tu agis toujours perfidement, et tu as été appelé transgresseur dès la matrice.

Sí, nunca lo habías oído, ni nunca lo habías conocido; ciertamente no se abrió antes tu oreja; porque sabía que desleal habías de desobedecer, por tanto te llamé rebelde desde el vientre.

Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time that thine ear was not opened: for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb.

Yes, you didn’t hear. Yes, you didn’t know. Yes, from of old your ear was not opened, for I knew that you dealt very treacherously, and were called a transgressor from the womb.

À cause de mon nom je différerai ma colère, et à cause de ma louange je me retiendrai à ton égard, pour ne pas te retrancher.

Por amor de mi nombre dilataré mi furor, y para alabanza mía te daré largas, para no talarte.

For my name’s sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.

For my name’s sake, I will defer my anger, and for my praise, I hold it back for you so that I don’t cut you off.

Voici, je te purifierai, mais non comme de l’argent : je t’ai choisi au creuset de l’affliction.

He aquí te he purificado, y no como á plata; hete escogido en horno de aflicción.

Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver. I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction.

À cause de moi-même, à cause de moi-même, je †le ferai ; car comment †mon nom serait-il profané ? Et je ne donnerai pas ma gloire à un autre.

Por mí, por amor de mí lo haré, para que no sea amancillado mi nombre, y mi honra no la daré á otro.

For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.

For my own sake, for my own sake, I will do it; for how would my name be profaned? I will not give my glory to another.

Écoute-moi, Jacob, et toi, Israël, que j’ai appelé. Moi, je suis le Même, – moi, le premier, et moi, le dernier.

Oyeme, Jacob, y tú, Israel, llamado de mí: Yo mismo, yo el primero, yo también el postrero.

Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.

“Listen to me, O Jacob, and Israel my called: I am he. I am the first. I am also the last.

Ma main aussi a fondé la terre, et ma droite a étendu les cieux ; moi je les appelle : ils se tiennent là ensemble.

Mi mano fundó también la tierra, y mi mano derecha midió los cielos con el palmo; en llamándolos yo, parecieron juntamente.

Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.

Yes, my hand has laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand has spread out the heavens. when I call to them, they stand up together.

Rassemblez-vous, vous tous, et écoutez. Qui d’entre eux a déclaré ces choses ? Celui que l’Éternel a aimé exécutera son bon plaisir sur Babylone, et son bras †sera sur les Chaldéens.

Juntaos todos vosotros, y oid. ¿Quién hay entre ellos que anuncie estas cosas? Jehová lo amó, el cual ejecutará su voluntad en Babilonia, y su brazo en los Caldeos.

All ye, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them hath declared these things? The LORD hath loved him: he will do his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.

“Assemble yourselves, all of you, and hear! Who among them has declared these things? He whom the LORD loves will do what he likes to Babylon, and his arm will be against the Chaldeans.

Moi, moi j’ai parlé, moi je l’ai aussi appelé ; je l’ai fait venir, et son chemin prospérera.

Yo, yo hablé, y le llamé, y le traje; por tanto será prosperado su camino.

I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous.

I, even I, have spoken. Yes, I have called him. I have brought him and he shall make his way prosperous.

Approchez-vous de moi, écoutez ceci : Je n’ai pas parlé en secret dès le commencement ; dès le temps où cela a existé, je suis là ; et maintenant le Seigneur l’Éternel m’a envoyé, et son Esprit.

Allegaos á mí, oid esto; desde el principio no hablé en escondido; desde que la cosa se hizo, estuve allí: y ahora el Señor Jehová me envió, y su espíritu.

Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.

“Come near to me and hear this: “From the beginning I have not spoken in secret; from the time that it happened, I was there.” Now the Lord GOD has sent me with his Spirit.

Ainsi dit l’Éternel, ton rédempteur, le Saint d’Israël : Moi, je suis l’Éternel, ton Dieu, qui t’enseigne pour ton profit, qui te dirige dans le chemin †par lequel tu dois marcher.

Así ha dicho Jehová, Redentor tuyo, el Santo de Israel: Yo Jehová Dios tuyo, que te enseña provechosamente, que te encamina por el camino que andas.

Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

The LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, says: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go.

Oh ! si tu avais fait attention à mes commandements, ta paix aurait été comme un fleuve, et ta justice comme les flots de la mer ;

¡Ojalá miraras tú á mis mandamientos! fuera entonces tu paz como un río, y tu justicia como las ondas de la mar.

O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:

Oh that you had listened to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

et ta semence aurait été comme le sable, et ceux qui sortent de tes entrailles, comme le gravier de la mer : son nom n’aurait pas été retranché ni détruit de devant moi.

Fuera como la arena tu simiente, y los renuevos de tus entrañas como las pedrezuelas de ella; nunca su nombre fuera cortado, ni raído de mi presencia.

Thy seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.

Your offspring also would have been as the sand and the descendants of your body like its grains. His name would not be cut off nor destroyed from before me.”

Sortez de Babylone, fuyez du milieu des Chaldéens, avec une voix de chant de joie ! Déclarez et faites entendre ceci, portez-le jusqu’au bout de la terre ; dites : L’Éternel a racheté son serviteur Jacob !

Salid de Babilonia, huid de entre los Caldeos; dad nuevas de esto con voz de alegría, publicadlo, llevadlo hasta lo postrero de la tierra: decid: Redimió Jehová á Jacob su siervo.

Go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob.

Leave Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! With the sound of joyful shouting announce this, tell it even to the end of the earth; say, “The LORD has redeemed his servant Jacob!”

Et ils n’ont pas eu soif, quand il les fit marcher dans les déserts ; du rocher il a fait jaillir pour eux les eaux ; il a fendu le rocher, et les eaux ont coulé.

Y no tuvieron sed cuando los llevó por los desiertos; hízoles correr agua de la piedra; cortó la peña, y corrieron aguas.

And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out.

Il n’y a pas de paix, dit l’Éternel, pour les méchants.

No hay paz para los malos, dijo Jehová.

There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.

“There is no peace”, says the LORD, “for the wicked.”
