Oíd estas cosas los de la casa de Jacob , vosotros que os apellidáis con el nombre de Israel y venís de la estirpe de Judá; vosotros que juráis en el nombre del Señor, y hacéis mención del Dios de Israel, mas no con verdad ni con justicia;
OID esto, casa de Jacob, que os llamáis del nombre de Israel, los que salieron de las aguas de Judá, los que juran en el nombre de Jehová, y hacen memoria del Dios de Israel, mas no en verdad ni en justicia:
Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.
“Hear this, house of Jacob, you who are called by the name of Israel, and have come out of the waters of Judah. You swear by the LORD’s name, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness—
y que os llamáis ciudadanos de la ciudad santa y estáis apoyados en el Dios de Israel, el cual tiene por nombre Señor de los ejércitos.
Porque de la santa ciudad se nombran, y en el Dios de Israel confían: su nombre, Jehová de los ejércitos.
For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God of Israel; The LORD of hosts is his name.

Yo anuncié mucho antes las cosas pasadas, y las predije e hice oír de mi propia boca; de repente las puse en ejecución, y se efectuaron.
Lo que pasó, ya antes lo dije; y de mi boca salió; publiquélo, hícelo presto, y vino á ser.
I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.

Porque sabía yo que tú eres un pueblo duro y tu frente de bronce.
Porque conozco que eres duro, y nervio de hierro tu cerviz, y tu frente de metal,
Because I knew that thou art obstinate, and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass;
Because I knew that you are obstinate, and your neck is an iron sinew, and your brow bronze;
Te las predije muy de antemano; antes que sucedieran te las hice saber, a fin de que nunca dijeses: Mis ídolos han hecho estas cosas, y lo han ordenado así mis estatuas de escultura y de fundición.
Díjetelo ya días há; antes que viniese te lo enseñé, porque no dijeses: Mi ídolo lo hizo, mis estatuas de escultura y de fundición mandaron estas cosas.
I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them.
therefore I have declared it to you from of old; before it came to pass I showed it to you; lest you should say, ‘My idol has done them. My engraved image and my molten image has commanded them.’
Mira ejecutado todo lo que oíste: ¿Y acaso no lo habéis vosotros mismos pregonado? Hasta ahora te he revelado cosas nuevas, y tengo reservadas otras que tú no sabes.
Oístelo, vístelo todo; ¿y no lo anunciaréis vosotros? Ahora pues te he hecho oir nuevas y ocultas cosas que tú no sabías.
Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them.
You have heard it. Now see all this. And you, won’t you declare it? “I have shown you new things from this time, even hidden things, which you have not known.
Ahora es cuando estas predicciones te son hechas, y no antes, pues hasta aquí tú no oíste hablar de ellas, a fin de que no puedas decir: Yo ya me las sabía.
Ahora han sido criadas, no en días pasados; ni antes de este día las habías oído, porque no digas: He aquí que yo lo sabía.
They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them.
They are created now, and not from of old. Before today, you didn’t hear them, lest you should say, ‘Behold, I knew them.’
Ni las habías oído ni las sabías; ni entonces tenías abiertas tus orejas; que bien sé que tú has de proseguir siempre prevaricando; y prevaricador te llamé desde el seno de tu madre.
Sí, nunca lo habías oído, ni nunca lo habías conocido; ciertamente no se abrió antes tu oreja; porque sabía que desleal habías de desobedecer, por tanto te llamé rebelde desde el vientre.
Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time that thine ear was not opened: for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb.
Yes, you didn’t hear. Yes, you didn’t know. Yes, from of old your ear was not opened, for I knew that you dealt very treacherously, and were called a transgressor from the womb.
Con todo, por amor de mi nombre contendré mi furor; y con la gloria mía te tiraré del freno para que no te despeñes.
Por amor de mi nombre dilataré mi furor, y para alabanza mía te daré largas, para no talarte.
For my name’s sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.

Mira, yo te he acrisolado con el fuego de las tribulaciones; mas no como la plata, sino que he hecho prueba de ti en la fragua de la pobreza.
He aquí te he purificado, y no como á plata; hete escogido en horno de aflicción.
Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

Por mi respeto, por respeto mío haré esto, a fin de que no sea yo blasfemado de vuestros enemigos, porque no daré yo jamás a otro mi gloria.
Por mí, por amor de mí lo haré, para que no sea amancillado mi nombre, y mi honra no la daré á otro.
For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.

Escúchame, ¡oh Jacob , y tú, oh Israel!, a quien yo doy nombre: Yo mismo, yo el primero y yo el último.

Mi mano fue la que fundó la tierra, y mi diestra la que midió los cielos; a una voz que yo les dé, al momento se presentarán todos.

Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.

Reuníos todos vosotros, pueblos, y escuchadme, ¿cuál de esos ídolos anunció tales cosas? El Señor amó a este hombre; y éste ejecutará la voluntad del Señor en Babilonia, y será su brazo contra los caldeos.
Juntaos todos vosotros, y oid. ¿Quién hay entre ellos que anuncie estas cosas? Jehová lo amó, el cual ejecutará su voluntad en Babilonia, y su brazo en los Caldeos.
All ye, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them hath declared these things? The LORD hath loved him: he will do his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.
“Assemble yourselves, all of you, and hear! Who among them has declared these things? He whom the LORD loves will do what he likes to Babylon, and his arm will be against the Chaldeans.
Yo, yo soy el que le ha hablado, y yo el que lo he llamado: yo lo he guiado, y le he allanado el camino.

I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous.

Acercaos a mí y escuchad esto. Yo desde el principio jamás he hablado a escondidas; ya tiempo antes que esto sucediese, estaba yo allí, y ahora me ha enviado el Señor, y su espíritu.
Allegaos á mí, oid esto; desde el principio no hablé en escondido; desde que la cosa se hizo, estuve allí: y ahora el Señor Jehová me envió, y su espíritu.
Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.
“Come near to me and hear this: “From the beginning I have not spoken in secret; from the time that it happened, I was there.” Now the Lord GOD has sent me with his Spirit.
Esto dice el Señor tu redentor, el Santo de Israel: Yo el Señor Dios tuyo que te enseño lo que te importa, y te dirijo por el camino que sigues.
Así ha dicho Jehová, Redentor tuyo, el Santo de Israel: Yo Jehová Dios tuyo, que te enseña provechosamente, que te encamina por el camino que andas.
Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
The LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, says: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go.
¡Ojalá hubieras atendido a mis mandamientos; hubieras sido tú paz o felicidad como un río, y tu justicia o santidad tan copiosa como los abismos del mar,
¡Ojalá miraras tú á mis mandamientos! fuera entonces tu paz como un río, y tu justicia como las ondas de la mar.
O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:
Oh that you had listened to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
y como sus arenas la descendencia tuya, y como sus granitos o piedrecitas los hijos de tus entrañas; no hubiera perecido, ni quedado borrado su nombre delante de mis ojos.
Fuera como la arena tu simiente, y los renuevos de tus entrañas como las pedrezuelas de ella; nunca su nombre fuera cortado, ni raído de mi presencia.
Thy seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.
Your offspring also would have been as the sand and the descendants of your body like its grains. His name would not be cut off nor destroyed from before me.”
Salid, pues, ahora de Babilonia, huid de los caldeos, anunciad con voces de júbilo, haced saber esta alegre nueva, y llevadla hasta las últimas extremidades del mundo, decid en todas partes: Redimió el Señor a los hijos de su siervo Jacob .
Salid de Babilonia, huid de entre los Caldeos; dad nuevas de esto con voz de alegría, publicadlo, llevadlo hasta lo postrero de la tierra: decid: Redimió Jehová á Jacob su siervo.
Go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob.
Leave Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! With the sound of joyful shouting announce this, tell it even to the end of the earth; say, “The LORD has redeemed his servant Jacob!”
Cuando los guió por el desierto, no padecieron sed; de una roca les hizo salir agua; rompió la peña y brotaron aguas en abundancia.
Y no tuvieron sed cuando los llevó por los desiertos; hízoles correr agua de la piedra; cortó la peña, y corrieron aguas.

Pero para los impíos no hay paz, dice el Señor.
No hay paz para los malos, dijo Jehová.
There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.
“There is no peace”, says the LORD, “for the wicked.”
