J'ai livré mon dos à ceux qui me frappaient, et mes joues à ceux qui m'arrachaient la barbe ; je n'ai pas dérobé mon visage aux outrages et aux crachats.

Dí mi cuerpo á los heridores, y mis mejillas á los que me mesaban el cabello: no escondí mi rostro de las injurias y esputos.
