Io ho porto il mio corpo a' percotitori, e le mie guance a quelli che mi strappavano i capelli; io non ho nascosta la mia faccia dalle onte, nè dallo sputo.

Dí mi cuerpo á los heridores, y mis mejillas á los que me mesaban el cabello: no escondí mi rostro de las injurias y esputos.

I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
