Isaías 51

Acorde, ó Senhor! Acorde! Levante-se, ponha em ação toda a sua força! Faça como fez no passado; mostre que ainda é o mesmo que feriu mortalmente o monstro do mar!

Despiértate, despiértate, vístete de fortaleza, oh brazo de Jehová; despiértate como en el tiempo antiguo, en los siglos pasados. ¿No eres tú el que cortó á Rahab, y el que hirió al dragón?

Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?

Awake, awake, put on strength, arm of the LORD! Awake, as in the days of old, the generations of ancient times. Isn’t it you who cut Rahab in pieces, who pierced the monster?
