Mas ¡ay! ¿quién ha creído, o creerá a nuestro anuncio? ¿Y a quién ha sido revelado ese Mesías, brazo o virtud del Señor?
¿QUIÉN ha creído á nuestro anuncio? ¿y sobre quién se ha manifestado el brazo de Jehová?
Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
Who has believed our message? To whom has the LORD’s arm been revealed?
Porque él crecerá a los ojos del pueblo como una humilde planta, y brotará como una raíz en tierra árida; no es de aspecto bello, ni es esplendoroso: nosotros lo hemos visto, dicen, y nada hay que atraiga nuestros ojos, ni llame nuestra atención hacia él.
Y subirá cual renuevo delante de él, y como raíz de tierra seca: no hay parecer en él, ni hermosura: verlo hemos, mas sin atractivo para que le deseemos.

Lo vimos después despreciado, y el desecho de los hombres, varón de dolores, y que sabe lo que es padecer; y su rostro como cubierto de vergüenza y afrentado; por lo que no hicimos ningún caso de él.
Despreciado y desechado entre los hombres, varón de dolores, experimentado en quebranto: y como que escondimos de él el rostro, fué menospreciado, y no lo estimamos.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Es verdad que él mismo tomó sobre sí nuestras dolencias y cargó con nuestras penalidades; pero nosotros lo reputamos entonces como un leproso, y como un hombre herido de la mano de Dios y humillado,

siendo así que por causa de nuestras iniquidades fue él llagado, y despedazado por nuestras maldades; el castigo de que debía nacer nuestra paz con Dios, descargó sobre él, y con sus moretones fuimos nosotros curados.
Mas él herido fué por nuestras rebeliones, molido por nuestros pecados: el castigo de nuestra paz sobre él; y por su llaga fuimos nosotros curados.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Como ovejas descarriadas hemos sido todos nosotros; cada cual se desvió de la senda del Señor para seguir su propio camino, y a él sólo le ha cargado el Señor sobre las espaldas la iniquidad de todos nosotros.
Todos nosotros nos descarriamos como ovejas, cada cual se apartó por su camino: mas Jehová cargó en él el pecado de todos nosotros.

Fue ofrecido en sacrificio porque él mismo lo quiso; y no abrió su boca para quejarse; conducido será a la muerte sin resistencia suya, como va la oveja al matadero, y guardará silencio sin abrir siquiera su boca delante de sus verdugos, como el corderito que está mudo delante del que le esquila.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

Después de sufrida la opresión e inicua condena, fue levantado en alto. Pero la generación suya ¿quién podrá explicarla? Arrancado ha sido de la tierra de los vivientes; para expiación de las maldades de mi pueblo le he yo herido, dice el Señor.
De la cárcel y del juicio fué quitado; y su generación ¿quién la contará? Porque cortado fué de la tierra de los vivientes; por la rebelión de mi pueblo fué herido.
He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
He was taken away by oppression and judgment. As for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living and stricken for the disobedience of my people?
Y en recompensa de bajar al sepulcro le concederá Dios la conversión de los impíos; tendrá por precio de su muerte al hombre rico; porque él no cometió pecado, ni hubo dolo en sus palabras.
Y dispúsose con los impíos su sepultura, mas con los ricos fué en su muerte; porque nunca hizo él maldad, ni hubo engaño en su boca.

Y quiso el Señor consumirle con trabajos; mas luego que él ofrezca su vida como hostia por el pecado, verá una descendencia larga y duradera, y cumplida será por medio de él la voluntad del Señor.
Con todo eso Jehová quiso quebrantarlo, sujetándole á padecimiento. Cuando hubiere puesto su vida en expiación por el pecado, verá linaje, vivirá por largos días, y la voluntad de Jehová será en su mano prosperada.
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him. He has caused him to suffer. When you make his soul an offering for sin, he will see his offspring. He will prolong his days and the LORD’s pleasure will prosper in his hand.
Verá el fruto de los afanes de su alma, y quedará saciado. Este mismo Justo, mi siervo, dice el Señor, justificará a muchos con su doctrina o predicación; y cargará sobre sí los pecados de ellos.
Del trabajo de su alma verá y será saciado; con su conocimiento justificará mi siervo justo á muchos, y él llevará las iniquidades de ellos.
He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light and be satisfied. My righteous servant will justify many by the knowledge of himself; and he will bear their iniquities.
Por tanto, le daré como porción, o en herencia suya, una gran cantidad de naciones: y repartirá los despojos de los fuertes; pues ha entregado su vida a la muerte, y ha sido confundido con los facinerosos, y ha tomado sobre sí los pecados de todos, y ha rogado por los transgresores.
Por tanto yo le daré parte con los grandes, y con los fuertes repartirá despojos; por cuanto derramó su vida hasta la muerte, y fué contado con los perversos, habiendo él llevado el pecado de muchos, y orado por los transgresores.
Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
