1Juble, du Unfruchtbare, die nicht geboren, brich in Jubel aus und jauchze, die keine Wehen gehabt hat! Denn der Kinder der Vereinsamten sind mehr als der Kinder der Vermählten, spricht Jehova.
2Mache weit den Raum deines Zeltes, und man spanne aus die Behänge deiner Wohnstätte; wehre nicht! Mache deine Seile lang, und deine Pflöcke stecke fest!
3Denn du wirst dich ausbreiten zur Rechten und zur Linken; und dein Same wird die Nationen in Besitz nehmen, und wird die verödeten Städte bevölkern.
4Fürchte dich nicht, denn du wirst nicht beschämt werden, und schäme dich nicht, denn du wirst nicht zu Schanden werden; sondern du wirst der Schmach deiner Jugend vergessen und der Schande deiner Witwenschaft nicht mehr gedenken.
5Denn der dich gemacht hat, ist dein Mann, Jehova der Heerscharen ist sein Name, und der Heilige Israels ist dein Erlöser: Er wird der Gott der ganzen Erde genannt werden.
6Denn wie ein verlassenes und im Geiste betrübtes Weib ruft dich Jehova, und wie ein Weib der Jugend, wenn sie verstoßen ist, spricht dein Gott.
7Einen kleinen Augenblick habe ich dich verlassen, aber mit großem Erbarmen will ich dich sammeln;
8im Zorneserguß habe ich einen Augenblick mein Angesicht vor dir verborgen, aber mit ewiger Güte werde ich mich deiner erbarmen, spricht Jehova, dein Erlöser.
9Denn dieses soll mir sein wie die Wasser Noahs, als ich schwur, daß die Wasser Noahs die Erde nicht mehr überfluten sollten; so habe ich geschworen, daß ich nicht mehr über dich ergrimmen, noch dich schelten werde.
10Denn die Berge mögen weichen und die Hügel wanken, aber meine Güte wird nicht von dir weichen und mein Friedensbund nicht wanken, spricht Jehova, dein Erbarmer.
11Du Elende, Sturmbewegte, Ungetröstete! Siehe, ich lege deine Steine in Bleiglanz und gründe dich mit Saphiren;
12und ich mache deine Zinnen aus Rubinen und deine Tore von Karfunkeln und dein ganzes Gebiet von Edelsteinen.
13Und alle deine Kinder werden von Jehova gelehrt, und der Friede deiner Kinder wird groß sein.
14Durch Gerechtigkeit wirst du befestigt werden. Sei fern von Angst, denn du hast dich nicht zu fürchten, und von Schrecken, denn er wird dir nicht nahen.
15Siehe, wenn man sich auch rottet, so ist es nicht von mir aus; wer sich wider dich rottet, der wird um deinetwillen fallen.
16Siehe, ich habe den Schmied geschaffen, der das Kohlenfeuer anbläst und die Waffe hervorbringt, seinem Handwerk gemäß; und ich habe den Verderber geschaffen, um zu zerstören.
17Keiner Waffe, die wider dich gebildet wird, soll es gelingen; und jede Zunge, die vor Gericht wider dich aufsteht, wirst du schuldig sprechen. Das ist das Erbteil der Knechte Jehovas und ihre Gerechtigkeit von mir aus, spricht Jehova.

1ALÉGRATE, oh estéril, la que no paría; levanta canción, y da voces de júbilo, la que nunca estuvo de parto: porque más son los hijos de la dejada que los de la casada, ha dicho Jehová.
2Ensancha el sitio de tu cabaña, y las cortinas de tus tiendas sean extendidas; no seas escasa; alarga tus cuerdas, y fortifica tus estacas.
3Porque á la mano derecha y á la mano izquierda has de crecer; y tu simiente heredará gentes, y habitarán las ciudades asoladas.
4No temas, que no serás avergonzada; y no te avergüences, que no serás afrentada: antes, te olvidarás de la vergüenza de tu mocedad, y de la afrenta de tu viudez no tendrás más memoria.
5Porque tu marido es tu Hacedor; Jehová de los ejércitos es su nombre: y tu redentor, el Santo de Israel; Dios de toda la tierra será llamado.
6Porque como á mujer dejada y triste de espíritu te llamó Jehová, y como á mujer moza que es repudiada, dijo el Dios tuyo.
7Por un pequeño momento te dejé; mas te recogeré con grandes misericordias.
8Con un poco de ira escondí mi rostro de ti por un momento; mas con misericordia eterna tendré compasión de ti, dijo tu Redentor Jehová.
9Porque esto me será como las aguas de Noé; que juré que nunca más las aguas de Noé pasarían sobre la tierra; así he jurado que no me enojaré contra ti, ni te reñiré.
10Porque los montes se moverán, y los collados temblarán; mas no se apartará de ti mi misericordia, ni el pacto de mi paz vacilará, dijo Jehová, el que tiene misericordia de ti.
11Pobrecita, fatigada con tempestad, sin consuelo; he aquí que yo cimentaré tus piedras sobre carbunclo, y sobre zafiros te fundaré.
12Tus ventanas pondré de piedras preciosas, tus puertas de piedras de carbunclo, y todo tu término de piedras de buen gusto.
13Y todos tus hijos serán enseñados de Jehová; y multiplicará la paz de tus hijos.
14Con justicia serás adornada; estarás lejos de opresión, porque no temerás; y de temor, porque no se acercará á ti.
15Si alguno conspirare contra ti, será sin mí: el que contra ti conspirare, delante de ti caerá.
16He aquí que yo crié al herrero que sopla las ascuas en el fuego, y que saca la herramienta para su obra; y yo he criado al destruidor para destruir.
17Toda herramienta que fuere fabricada contra ti, no prosperará; y tú condenarás toda lengua que se levantare contra ti en juicio. Esta es la heredad de los siervos de Jehová, y su justicia de por mí, dijo Jehová.

1Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
2Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
3For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
4Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
5For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
6For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
7For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.
8In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.
9For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
10For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
11O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.
12And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.
13And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
14In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
15Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
16Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
17No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

1“Sing, barren, you who didn’t give birth! Break out into singing, and cry aloud, you who didn’t travail with child! For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife,” says the LORD.
2“Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your habitations; don’t spare; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.
3For you will spread out on the right hand and on the left; and your offspring will possess the nations and settle in desolate cities.
4“Don’t be afraid, for you will not be ashamed. Don’t be confounded, for you will not be disappointed. For you will forget the shame of your youth. You will remember the reproach of your widowhood no more.
5For your Maker is your husband; the LORD of Armies is his name. The Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer. He will be called the God of the whole earth.
6For the LORD has called you as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of youth, when she is cast off,” says your God.
7“For a small moment I have forsaken you, but I will gather you with great mercies.
8In overflowing wrath I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting loving kindness I will have mercy on you,” says the LORD your Redeemer.
9“For this is like the waters of Noah to me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah will no more go over the earth, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.
10For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed, but my loving kindness will not depart from you, and my covenant of peace will not be removed,” says the LORD who has mercy on you.
11“You afflicted, tossed with storms, and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in beautiful colors, and lay your foundations with sapphires.
12I will make your pinnacles of rubies, your gates of sparkling jewels, and all your walls of precious stones.
13All your children will be taught by the LORD, and your children’s peace will be great.
14You will be established in righteousness. You will be far from oppression, for you will not be afraid, and far from terror, for it shall not come near you.
15Behold, they may gather together, but not by me. Whoever gathers together against you will fall because of you.
16“Behold, I have created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame, and forges a weapon for his work; and I have created the destroyer to destroy.
17No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the LORD’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says the LORD.
