Isaías 57

Der Gerechte kommt um, und niemand nimmt es zu Herzen, und die Frommen werden hinweggerafft, ohne daß jemand es beachtet, daß der Gerechte vor dem Unglück hinweggerafft wird.

PERECE el justo, y no hay quien pare mientes; y los píos son recogidos, y no hay quien entienda que delante de la aflicción es recogido el justo.

The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

Er geht ein zum Frieden; sie ruhen auf ihren Lagerstätten, ein jeder, der in Geradheit gewandelt hat.

Entrará en la paz; descansarán en sus lechos todos los que andan delante de Dios.

Und ihr, nahet hierher, Kinder der Zauberin, Same des Ehebrechers und der Hure!

Mas vosotros llegaos acá, hijos de la agorera, generación de adúltero y de fornicaria.

Über wen machet ihr euch lustig, über wen sperret ihr das Maul auf und strecket die Zunge heraus? Seid ihr nicht Kinder des Abfalls, ein Same der Lüge,

Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,

Whom do you mock? Against whom do you make a wide mouth and stick out your tongue? Aren’t you children of disobedience and offspring of falsehood,

die ihr für die Götzen entbranntet unter jedem grünen Baume, die ihr Kinder in den Tälern schlachtetet unter den Klüften der Felsen?

Que os enfervorizáis con los ídolos debajo de todo árbol umbroso, que sacrificáis los hijos en los valles, debajo de los peñascos?

Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?

you who inflame yourselves among the oaks, under every green tree; who kill the children in the valleys, under the clefts of the rocks?

An den glatten Steinen des Talbaches war dein Teil; sie, sie waren dein Los; auch gossest du ihnen Trankopfer aus, opfertest ihnen Speisopfer. Sollte ich mich darüber trösten?

En las pulimentadas piedras del valle está tu parte; ellas, ellas son tu suerte; y á ellas derramaste libación, y ofreciste presente. ¿No me tengo de vengar de estas cosas?

Among the smooth stones of the stream is thy portion; they, they are thy lot: even to them hast thou poured a drink offering, thou hast offered a meat offering. Should I receive comfort in these?

Among the smooth stones of the valley is your portion. They, they are your lot. You have even poured a drink offering to them. You have offered an offering. Shall I be appeased for these things?

Auf einem hohen und erhabenen Berge schlugest du dein Lager auf; auch stiegest du dort hinauf, um Schlachtopfer zu opfern.

Sobre el monte alto y empinado pusiste tu cama: allí también subiste á hacer sacrificio.

Upon a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed: even thither wentest thou up to offer sacrifice.

On a high and lofty mountain you have set your bed. You also went up there to offer sacrifice.

Und hinter die Tür und den Pfosten setztest du dein Gedächtnis. Denn von mir abgewendet decktest du auf und bestiegest, machtest breit dein Lager, und du bedingtest dir Lohn von ihnen aus; du liebtest ihr Beilager, schautest ihre Blöße.

Y tras la puerta y el umbral pusiste tu recuerdo: porque á otro que á mí te descubriste, y subiste, y ensanchaste tu cama, é hiciste con ellos alianza: amaste su cama donde quiera que la veías.

Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered thyself to another than me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them; thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest it.

You have set up your memorial behind the doors and the posts, for you have exposed yourself to someone besides me, and have gone up. You have enlarged your bed and made a covenant for yourself with them. You loved what you saw on their bed.

Und du zogest mit Öl zu dem König und machtest viel deiner wohlriechenden Salben; und du sandtest deine Boten in die Ferne und erniedrigtest dich bis zum Scheol.

Y fuiste al rey con ungüento, y multiplicaste tus perfumes, y enviaste tus embajadores lejos, y te abatiste hasta el profundo.

And thou wentest to the king with ointment, and didst increase thy perfumes, and didst send thy messengers far off, and didst debase thyself even unto hell.

You went to the king with oil, increased your perfumes, sent your ambassadors far off, and degraded yourself even to Sheol.

Durch die Weite deines Weges bist du müde geworden, doch du sprachst nicht: Es ist umsonst! Du gewannst neue Kraft, darum bist du nicht erschlafft.

En la multitud de tus caminos te cansaste, mas no dijiste: No hay remedio; hallaste la vida de tu mano, por tanto no te arrepentiste.

Thou art wearied in the greatness of thy way; yet saidst thou not, There is no hope: thou hast found the life of thine hand; therefore thou wast not grieved.

You were wearied with the length of your ways; yet you didn’t say, ‘It is in vain.’ You found a reviving of your strength; therefore you weren’t faint.

Und vor wem hast du dich gescheut und gefürchtet, daß du gelogen hast, und meiner nicht gedachtest, es nicht zu Herzen nahmst? Habe ich nicht geschwiegen, und zwar seit langer Zeit? Und mich fürchtest du nicht.

¿Y de quién te asustaste y temiste, que has faltado á la fe, y no te has acordado de mí, ni te vino al pensamiento? ¿No he yo disimulado desde tiempos antiguos, y nunca me has temido?

And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not?

“Whom have you dreaded and feared, so that you lie, and have not remembered me, nor laid it to your heart? Haven’t I held my peace for a long time, and you don’t fear me?

Ich, ich werde deine Gerechtigkeit kundtun; und deine Machwerke, sie werden dir nichts nützen.

Yo publicaré tu justicia y tus obras, que no te aprovecharán.

I will declare thy righteousness, and thy works; for they shall not profit thee.

I will declare your righteousness; and as for your works, they will not benefit you.

Wenn du schreist, mögen dich deine Götzenhaufen erretten! Aber ein Wind wird sie allesamt entführen, ein Hauch sie hinwegnehmen. Wer aber zu mir seine Zuflucht nimmt, wird das Land erben und meinen heiligen Berg besitzen.

Cuando clamares, líbrente tus allegados; empero á todos ellos llevará el viento, un soplo los arrebatará; mas el que en mí espera, tendrá la tierra por heredad, y poseerá el monte de mi santidad.

When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;

When you cry, let those whom you have gathered deliver you, but the wind will take them. A breath will carry them all away, but he who takes refuge in me will possess the land, and will inherit my holy mountain.”

Und man wird sagen: Machet Bahn, machet Bahn; bereitet einen Weg, hebet aus dem Wege meines Volkes jeden Anstoß hinweg!

Y dirá: Allanad, allanad; barred el camino, quitad los tropiezos del camino de mi pueblo.

And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people.

He will say, “Build up, build up, prepare the way! Remove the stumbling-block out of the way of my people.”

Denn so spricht der Hohe und Erhabene, der in Ewigkeit wohnt, und dessen Name der Heilige ist: Ich wohne in der Höhe und im Heiligtum, und bei dem, der zerschlagenen und gebeugten Geistes ist, um zu beleben den Geist der Gebeugten und zu beleben das Herz der Zerschlagenen.

Porque así dijo el Alto y Sublime, el que habita la eternidad, y cuyo nombre es el Santo: Yo habito en la altura y la santidad, y con el quebrantado y humilde de espíritu, para hacer vivir el espíritu de los humildes, y para vivificar el corazón de los quebrantados.

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Denn ich will nicht ewiglich rechten und nicht auf immerdar ergrimmt sein; denn der Geist würde vor mir verschmachten, und die Seelen, die ich ja gemacht habe.

Porque no tengo de contender para siempre, ni para siempre me he de enojar: pues decaería ante mí el espíritu, y las almas que yo he criado.

For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.

Wegen der Missetat seiner Habsucht ergrimmte ich und schlug es, indem ich mich verbarg und ergrimmt war; und es wandelte abtrünnig auf dem Wege seines Herzens.

Por la iniquidad de su codicia me enojé y heríle, escondí mi rostro y ensañéme; y fué él rebelde por el camino de su corazón.

For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.

I was angry because of the iniquity of his covetousness and struck him. I hid myself and was angry; and he went on backsliding in the way of his heart.

Seine Wege habe ich gesehen und werde es heilen; und ich werde es leiten, und Tröstungen erstatten ihm und seinen Trauernden.

Visto he sus caminos, y le sanaré, y le pastorearé, y daréle consolaciones, á él y á sus enlutados.

I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

Die Frucht der Lippen schaffend, spricht Jehova: Friede, Friede den Fernen und den Nahen, und ich will es heilen. -

I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him.

Aber die Gesetzlosen sind wie das aufgewühlte Meer; denn es kann nicht ruhig sein, und seine Wasser wühlen Schlamm und Kot auf.

Mas los impíos son como la mar en tempestad, que no puede estarse quieta, y sus aguas arrojan cieno y lodo.

But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

Kein Friede den Gesetzlosen! spricht mein Gott. -

No hay paz, dijo mi Dios, para los impíos.

There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

“There is no peace”, says my God, “for the wicked.”
