Nous avons tâtonné après la paroi comme des aveugles ; nous avons, dis-je, tâtonné comme ceux qui sont sans yeux ; nous avons bronché en plein midi comme sur la brune, et nous avons été dans les lieux abondants comme y seraient des morts.

Palpamos la pared como ciegos, y andamos á tiento como sin ojos; tropezamos al medio día como de noche; estamos en oscuros lugares como muertos.
