Miren, la mano de Yahvé no es demasiado corta para salvar, ni su oído es tan sordo que no pueda oír.
HE aquí que no se ha acortado la mano de Jehová para salvar, ni hase agravado su oído para oir:

Son las maldades de ustedes las que han creado un abismo entre ustedes y su Dios; son sus pecados los que han hecho que él esconda su rostro para no escucharlos.

Porque sus manos están manchadas de sangre y sus dedos están sucios de iniquidad. Sus labios dicen mentiras y su lengua murmura maldades.

Nadie demanda con justicia, nadie defiende su causa con la verdad. Confían en argumentos vacíos y dicen mentiras; conciben el mal y dan a luz la maldad.
No hay quien clame por la justicia, ni quien juzgue por la verdad: confían en vanidad, y hablan vanidades; conciben trabajo, y paren iniquidad.
None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

Sus telas no sirven para vestirse, nadie puede cubrirse con lo que ellos hacen. Sus obras son obras de maldad, y sus manos solo cometen actos de violencia.
Sus telas no servirán para vestir, ni de sus obras serán cubiertos: sus obras son obras de iniquidad, y obra de rapiña está en sus manos.
Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.

No conocen el camino de la paz, no hay justicia en sus senderos. Han torcido sus propios caminos; el que anda por ellos no conoce la paz.

Por eso el derecho está lejos de nosotros, y la justicia no nos alcanza. Esperábamos luz, y solo vemos tinieblas; buscábamos resplandor, y caminamos en oscuridad.
Por esto se alejó de nosotros el juicio, y no nos alcanzó justicia: esperamos luz, y he aquí tinieblas; resplandores, y andamos en oscuridad.

Palpamos la pared como los ciegos, andamos a tientas como los que no tienen ojos. Tropezamos a mediodía como si fuera el anochecer; entre los fuertes, parecemos muertos.

We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men.

Todos nosotros gruñimos como osos y gemimos tristemente como palomas. Esperamos el derecho, pero no llega; buscamos la salvación, pero se mantiene lejos.

nos rebelamos y negamos a Yahvé, dejamos de seguir a nuestro Dios. Planeamos la opresión y la traición, concebimos y pronunciamos mentiras de corazón.
El prevaricar y mentir contra Jehová, y tornar de en pos de nuestro Dios; el hablar calumnia y rebelión, concebir y proferir de corazón palabras de mentira.
In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.

Sí, la verdad ha desaparecido, y el que se aparta del mal se convierte en la víctima. Yahvé vio esto y le disgustó que no hubiera justicia.
Y la verdad fué detenida; y el que se apartó del mal, fué puesto en presa: y viólo Jehová, y desagradó en sus ojos, porque pereció el derecho.

Vio que no había nadie, y se asombró de que nadie intercediera. Entonces su propio brazo le dio la victoria, y su propia justicia lo sostuvo.

Él pagará a cada uno según sus obras: enviará su furia contra sus adversarios y dará su merecido a sus enemigos; ¡les dará su pago a las naciones de las costas!
Como para retribuir, como para retornar ira á sus enemigos, y dar el pago á sus adversarios: el pago dará á las islas.

Así temerán el nombre de Yahvé desde el occidente, y su gloria desde donde sale el sol. Porque él vendrá como un río caudaloso, impulsado por el soplo de Yahvé.
Y temerán desde el occidente el nombre de Jehová, y desde el nacimiento del sol su gloria: porque vendrá el enemigo como río, mas el espíritu de Jehová levantará bandera contra él.
So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

“El Redentor vendrá a Sión, a todos los de Jacob que se arrepientan de sus pecados”, dice Yahvé.
Y vendrá el Redentor á Sión, y á los que se volvieren de la iniquidad en Jacob, dice Jehová.
And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.

“En cuanto a mí, este es mi pacto con ellos”, dice Yahvé. “Mi Espíritu que está sobre ti, y mis palabras que he puesto en tu boca, no faltarán de tu boca, ni de la boca de tus hijos, ni de la de sus descendientes, desde ahora y para siempre”, dice Yahvé.
Y este será mi pacto con ellos, dijo Jehová: El espíritu mío que está sobre ti, y mis palabras que puse en tu boca, no faltarán de tu boca, ni de la boca de tu simiente, ni de la boca de la simiente de tu simiente, dijo Jehová, desde ahora y para siempre.
As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.
