Voici, la main de l’Eternel n’est pas raccourcie pour ne pouvoir pas délivrer, et son oreille n’est pas devenue pesante, pour ne pouvoir pas ouïr.
HE aquí que no se ha acortado la mano de Jehová para salvar, ni hase agravado su oído para oir:

C’est pourquoi le jugement s’est éloigné de nous, et la justice ne vient point jusques à nous ; nous attendions la lumière, et voici les ténèbres ; la splendeur, et nous marchons dans l’obscurité.

El prevaricar y mentir contra Jehová, y tornar de en pos de nuestro Dios; el hablar calumnia y rebelión, concebir y proferir de corazón palabras de mentira.

C’est pourquoi le jugement s’est éloigné et la justice s’est tenue loin ; car la vérité est tombée par les rues, et la droiture n’y a pu entrer.

Et on craindra le Nom de l’Eternel depuis l’Occident ; et sa gloire depuis le Soleil levant ; car l’ennemi viendra comme un fleuve, mais l’Esprit de l’Eternel lèvera l’enseigne contre lui.
Y temerán desde el occidente el nombre de Jehová, y desde el nacimiento del sol su gloria: porque vendrá el enemigo como río, mas el espíritu de Jehová levantará bandera contra él.
