¡Escuchen ahora! No es que el Señor se haya debilitado tanto que no pueda salvarlos, ni se ha vuelto sordo que no pueda escucharlos cuando claman.
HE aquí que no se ha acortado la mano de Jehová para salvar, ni hase agravado su oído para oir:

El problema está en que sus pecados los han separado de Dios. Por causa del pecado él ha escondido su rostro de ustedes y ya no quiere escucharlos.
Mas vuestras iniquidades han hecho división entre vosotros y vuestro Dios, y vuestros pecados han hecho ocultar su rostro de vosotros, para no oir.

Porque las manos de ustedes están llenas de sangre por los crímenes que han cometido, y sobre todo eso, mienten y murmuran, y se oponen al bien.

Ignoran qué es la paz, o qué significa ser justo y bueno; continuamente hacen el mal, y quienes van en pos de ustedes tampoco gozan de paz.

con razón andan a tientas como ciegos y tropiezan aun en pleno día. Aun cuando el sol brilla en su esplendor, para ustedes es como si fuera noche oscura. Se mantienen con vida, pero carentes de vigor.
Palpamos la pared como ciegos, y andamos á tiento como sin ojos; tropezamos al medio día como de noche; estamos en oscuros lugares como muertos.

Nuestros tribunales se oponen a la justicia y se desconoce en ellos la imparcialidad. La verdad cae muerta en las calles y la justicia no tiene lugar en sus vidas.

Entonces, las naciones temblarán de miedo ante el Señor, y le rendirán homenaje, porque vendrá como río caudaloso impulsado por un viento muy fuerte.

El Señor vendrá a redimir a los moradores de Jerusalén y a todos los israelitas que se arrepientan de su pecado. ¡Él así lo ha afirmado!
