¿No lo ves? El brazo del Señor no es demasiado débil para salvarte, y su oído no es demasiado sordo para escucharte.
HE aquí que no se ha acortado la mano de Jehová para salvar, ni hase agravado su oído para oir:

Es tu culpa la que ha creado una barrera entre tú y tu Dios; tus pecados han ocultado su rostro de ti para que no pueda escucharte.

Nadie quiere justicia, nadie alega su caso con honestidad. Se apoyan en falsos testimonios y dicen mentiras. Conciben planes malvados, y dan a luz problemas.
No hay quien clame por la justicia, ni quien juzgue por la verdad: confían en vanidad, y hablan vanidades; conciben trabajo, y paren iniquidad.
None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

Sus telas no se pueden convertir en ropa; no pueden cubrirse con lo que producen. Lo que hacen es perverso; usan sus manos para cometer violencia.

Corren para hacer el mal; se apresuran a asesinar a inocentes. Sus mentes están llenas de pensamientos pecaminosos; sólo causan estragos y destrucción.

Por eso no tenemos justicia, y no hacemos lo que es justo. Buscamos la luz, pero sólo encontramos la oscuridad; buscamos la luz brillante, pero caminamos en la oscuridad profunda.
Por esto se alejó de nosotros el juicio, y no nos alcanzó justicia: esperamos luz, y he aquí tinieblas; resplandores, y andamos en oscuridad.

Andamos a tientas como ciegos a lo largo de una pared, palpando con las manos como si no tuviéramos ojos. Tropezamos al mediodía como si fuera la tarde. Entre los que están llenos de vida, somos como los muertos.
Palpamos la pared como ciegos, y andamos á tiento como sin ojos; tropezamos al medio día como de noche; estamos en oscuros lugares como muertos.
We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men.

Todos nosotros gruñimos como osos y arrullamos como palomas mientras esperamos que se haga justicia, pero nunca sucede; esperamos la salvación, pero nunca la recibimos.

El prevaricar y mentir contra Jehová, y tornar de en pos de nuestro Dios; el hablar calumnia y rebelión, concebir y proferir de corazón palabras de mentira.

Se rechaza la justicia, y nunca se hace lo correcto. La verdad cae en la calle, y la honestidad está prohibida.

Miró a su alrededor, y se horrorizó al ver que no había nadie que hiciera nada al respecto, así que intervino él mismo, y su sentido de lo que era justo le hizo seguir adelante.

Pagará a todos por lo que han hecho: furia a sus enemigos, venganza a los que se le oponen, revancha a las tierras lejanas.
Como para retribuir, como para retornar ira á sus enemigos, y dar el pago á sus adversarios: el pago dará á las islas.

Los de occidente se asombrarán ante el Señor, y los de oriente se asombrarán ante su gloria, porque llegará como un torrente impetuoso, impulsado por el Espíritu del Señor.
Y temerán desde el occidente el nombre de Jehová, y desde el nacimiento del sol su gloria: porque vendrá el enemigo como río, mas el espíritu de Jehová levantará bandera contra él.
So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

El Redentor vendrá a Sión, a los descendientes de Jacob que se conviertan de sus pecados, declara el Señor.
Y vendrá el Redentor á Sión, y á los que se volvieren de la iniquidad en Jacob, dice Jehová.

Este es mi acuerdo con ellos, dice el Señor. Mi Espíritu, que está sobre ti, no te dejará, y mis palabras que te he dado para que las pronuncies estarán siempre en tus labios, en los de tus hijos y en los de tus descendientes, desde ahora hasta siempre, dice el Señor.
