HE aquí que no se ha acortado la mano de Jehová para salvar, ni hase agravado su oído para oir:

C'est de s'insurger et renier l'Eternel, de fuir loin de notre Dieu, de ne parler que de violence et de révolte, de concevoir dans le cœur et mettre au jour des propos mensongers.
El prevaricar y mentir contra Jehová, y tornar de en pos de nuestro Dios; el hablar calumnia y rebelión, concebir y proferir de corazón palabras de mentira.

Aussi craindra-t-on le nom du Seigneur dans les régions où le soleil se couche, la majesté divine là où il se lève, car elle se présentera comme un fleuve encaissé, que précipite le souffle de l'Eternel.
