Car la maison d'Israël est la vigne de l'Eternel des armées, et les hommes de Juda sont le plant auquel il prenait plaisir : il en attendait la droiture, et voici du sang versé ; la justice, et voici le cri de détresse !

¡Ay de los que juntan casa con casa, y allegan heredad á heredad hasta acabar el término! ¿Habitaréis vosotros solos en medio de la tierra?
Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!

L'Eternel des armées m'a parlé et m'a dit : Oui, ces nombreuses maisons seront désertes, ces maisons grandes et belles seront privées d'habitants.

Malheur à ceux qui se lèvent de bon matin pour courir après les boissons enivrantes, et qui s'attardent le soir, échauffés par le vin !

Y los corderos serán apacentados según su costumbre; y extraños comerán las gruesas desamparadas.
Then shall the lambs feed after their manner, and the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat.
Then the lambs will graze as in their pasture, and strangers will eat the ruins of the rich.

qui disent : Qu'il se dépêche, qu'il hâte son œuvre, afin que nous la voyions ! Que le décret du Saint d'Israël s'approche et s'exécute, et nous saurons ce que c'est !
Los cuales dicen: Venga ya, apresúrese su obra, y veamos: acérquese, y venga el consejo del Santo de Israel, para que lo sepamos!

Malheur à ceux qui sont des héros pour boire le vin et vaillants à mêler les liqueurs fortes ;
¡Ay de los que son valientes para beber vino, y hombres fuertes para mezclar bebida;
Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
Woe to those who are mighty to drink wine, and champions at mixing strong drink;
qui justifient le méchant pour un présent et qui privent les justes de leur droit !
Los que dan por justo al impío por cohechos, y al justo quitan su justicia!
Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
who acquit the guilty for a bribe, but deny justice for the innocent!
C'est pourquoi, comme la langue du feu dévore le chaume et comme l'herbe sèche s'affaisse dans la flamme, leur racine sera semblable à la vermoulure, et leur fleur sera emportée comme la poussière ; car ils ont rejeté la loi de l'Eternel des armées, et ils ont méprisé la parole du Saint d'Israël.
Por tanto, como la lengua del fuego consume las aristas, y la llama devora la paja, así será su raíz como pudrimiento, y su flor se desvanecerá como polvo: porque desecharon la ley de Jehová de los ejércitos, y abominaron la palabra del Santo de Israel.
Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

C'est pourquoi la colère de l'Eternel s'est embrasée contre son peuple, et il a étendu sa main contre lui, et il l'a frappé ; les montagnes en sont ébranlées ; leurs cadavres encombrent les rues comme de l'ordure. Avec tout cela, sa colère ne s'est point détournée, et sa main reste étendue !
Por esta causa se encendió el furor de Jehová contra su pueblo, y extendió contra él su mano, é hirióle; y se estremecieron los montes, y sus cadáveres fueron arrojados en medio de las calles. Con todo esto no ha cesado su furor, antes está su mano todavía extendida.
Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:

Il n'y en a pas un qui soit las, ni qui chancelle, qui sommeille, ni qui dorme ; la ceinture de leurs reins ne se défait point, et la courroie de leurs sandales ne se délie point.
No habrá entre ellos cansado, ni que vacile; ninguno se dormirá ni le tomará sueño; á ninguno se le desatará el cinto de los lomos, ni se le romperá la correa de sus zapatos.
None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:

Leurs flèches sont aiguisées, leurs arcs sont tous tendus ; les sabots de leurs chevaux sont comme le caillou, les roues de leurs chars pareilles à l'ouragan.

Leur rugissement est celui de la lionne ; ils rugissent comme le lionceau : il gronde, saisit sa proie, l'emporte, et personne ne la lui arrache.
Su bramido como de león; rugirá á manera de leoncillos, rechinará los dientes, y arrebatará la presa; la apañara, y nadie se la quitará.
Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.
Their roaring will be like a lioness. They will roar like young lions. Yes, they shall roar, and seize their prey and carry it off, and there will be no one to deliver.
En ce jour-là, il y aura sur le peuple un tumulte semblable au bruit de la mer ; on regardera le pays, et voilà les ténèbres de l'angoisse, et la lumière sera voilée par les ténèbres.
Y bramará sobre él en aquel día como bramido de la mar: entonces mirará hacia la tierra, y he aquí tinieblas de tribulación, y en sus cielos se oscurecerá la luz.
And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
