Isaías 61

1El espíritu del Señor Dios está sobre mí, porque me ha ungido él Señor, para dar buenas nuevas a los pobres; me ha enviado para vendar a los quebrantados de corazón, a anunciar que los prisioneros serán liberados, y que los encadenados volverán a ver la luz;
2Para dar a conocer que el año de la buena voluntad del Señor ha llegado, y el día de venganza de nuestro Dios; para dar consuelo a todos los que están tristes;
3Para darles una corona en lugar de ceniza, el aceite de la alegría en lugar de la ropa de dolor, la alabanza en lugar de dolor; para que puedan ser nombrados árboles de justicia, la plantación del Señor, para que sea glorificado.
4Y volverán a construir los viejos muros rotos, y reabrirán los viejos lugares arruinados, y reedificarán los pueblos que han sido destruidos durante largas generaciones.
5Y los hombres de países extranjeros serán sus pastores, sus hombres de labradores y cuidadores de vides.
6Pero serán nombrados sacerdotes del Señor, siervos de nuestro Dios; tendrán las riquezas de las naciones para tu comida, y serán vestido con su gloria.
7Como tenían el doble de dolor, en vez de humillación, darán gritos de júbilo por su herencia, en su tierra serán recompensados dos veces, y tendrán gozo eterno.
8Porque yo, el Señor, me complace juzgar con rectitud; odio la rapiña en él holocausto; y ciertamente les daré su recompensa, y haré un acuerdo eterno con ellos.
9Y su simiente será notada entre las naciones, y su descendencia entre los pueblos; será claro para todos los que los ven que son la simiente a la cual el Señor ha dado su bendición.
10Estaré lleno de alegría en el Señor, mi alma se alegrará en mi Dios; porque él me puso la vestimenta de la salvación, cubriéndome con el manto de la justicia, como él novio se pone adornos sacerdotales, y la novia se hace bella con joyas.
11Porque a medida que la tierra produce brotes y el jardín da crecimiento a las semillas que se plantan en él, así el Señor hará que broten justicia y alabanza en todas las naciones.

1EL espíritu del Señor Jehová es sobre mí, porque me ungió Jehová; hame enviado á predicar buenas nuevas á los abatidos, á vendar á los quebrantados de corazón, á publicar libertad á los cautivos, y á los presos abertura de la cárcel;
2A promulgar año de la buena voluntad de Jehová, y día de venganza del Dios nuestro; á consolar á todos los enlutados;
3A ordenar á Sión á los enlutados, para darles gloria en lugar de ceniza, óleo de gozo en lugar del luto, manto de alegría en lugar del espíritu angustiado; y serán llamados árboles de justicia, plantío de Jehová, para gloria suya.
4Y edificarán los desiertos antiguos, y levantarán los asolamientos primeros, y restaurarán las ciudades asoladas, los asolamientos de muchas generaciones.
5Y estarán extranjeros, y apacentarán vuestras ovejas, y los extraños serán vuestros labradores y vuestros viñadores.
6Y vosotros seréis llamados sacerdotes de Jehová, ministros del Dios nuestro seréis dichos: comeréis las riquezas de las gentes, y con su gloria seréis sublimes.
7En lugar de vuestra doble confusión, y de vuestra deshonra, os alabarán en sus heredades; por lo cual en sus tierras poseerán doblado, y tendrán perpetuo gozo.
8Porque yo Jehová soy amador del derecho, aborrecedor del latrocinio para holocausto; por tanto afirmaré en verdad su obra, y haré con ellos pacto perpetuo.
9Y la simiente de ellos será conocida entre las gentes, y sus renuevos en medio de los pueblos; todos los que los vieren, los conocerán, que son simiente bendita de Jehová.
10En gran manera me gozaré en Jehová, mi alma se alegrará en mi Dios; porque me vistió de vestidos de salud, rodeóme de manto de justicia, como á novio me atavió, y como á novia compuesta de sus joyas.
11Porque como la tierra produce su renuevo, y como el huerto hace brotar su simiente, así el Señor Jehová hará brotar justicia y alabanza delante de todas las gentes.

1The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
4And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
5And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
6But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
7For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.
8For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
9And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.
10I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
11For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

1The Lord GOD’s Spirit is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to those who are bound,
2to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,
3to provide for those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.
4They will rebuild the old ruins. They will raise up the former devastated places. They will repair the ruined cities that have been devastated for many generations.
5Strangers will stand and feed your flocks. Foreigners will work your fields and your vineyards.
6But you will be called the LORD’s priests. Men will call you the servants of our God. You will eat the wealth of the nations. You will boast in their glory.
7Instead of your shame you will have double. Instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them.
8“For I, the LORD, love justice. I hate robbery and iniquity. I will give them their reward in truth and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
9Their offspring will be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge them, that they are the offspring which the LORD has blessed.”
10I will greatly rejoice in the LORD! My soul will be joyful in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation. He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11For as the earth produces its bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring up, so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations.
