The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

El Señor me ha enviado a decir a los que lloran que ha llegado para ellos la hora de la compasión de Dios, y el día de su ira contra los enemigos de ellos.
A promulgar año de la buena voluntad de Jehová, y día de venganza del Dios nuestro; á consolar á todos los enlutados;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

A todos los que guardan luto en Israel les dará: belleza en vez de cenizas, júbilo en vez de llanto, y alabanza en vez de abatimiento. Porque para gloria de Dios, él mismo los ha plantado como vigorosos y esbeltos robles.

Entonces ellos reedificarán las antiguas ruinas, repararán las ciudades que hace largo tiempo fueron destruidas; las levantarán, aunque por generaciones han estado derruidas.
Y edificarán los desiertos antiguos, y levantarán los asolamientos primeros, y restaurarán las ciudades asoladas, los asolamientos de muchas generaciones.
And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

Los extranjeros serán los siervos de ustedes, les darán de comer a sus rebaños, ararán sus tierras y cuidarán sus viñedos.
Y estarán extranjeros, y apacentarán vuestras ovejas, y los extraños serán vuestros labradores y vuestros viñadores.
And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.

Ustedes serán llamados sacerdotes del Señor, ministros de Dios. Se nutrirán de los tesoros de las naciones y en sus riquezas se gloriarán todos ustedes.
Y vosotros seréis llamados sacerdotes de Jehová, ministros del Dios nuestro seréis dichos: comeréis las riquezas de las gentes, y con su gloria seréis sublimes.
But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
But you will be called the LORD’s priests. Men will call you the servants of our God. You will eat the wealth of the nations. You will boast in their glory.
En lugar de vergüenza y deshonra, gozarán doble porción de prosperidad y de alegría perpetua.
En lugar de vuestra doble confusión, y de vuestra deshonra, os alabarán en sus heredades; por lo cual en sus tierras poseerán doblado, y tendrán perpetuo gozo.
For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.
Instead of your shame you will have double. Instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them.
Porque yo, el Señor, amo la justicia, detesto el robo y el mal. Fielmente recompensaré a mi pueblo por sus sufrimientos y con ellos estableceré pacto perpetuo.

Sus descendientes tendrán renombre y serán famosos entre las naciones. Todos reconocerán que son un pueblo bendecido por Dios.
Y la simiente de ellos será conocida entre las gentes, y sus renuevos en medio de los pueblos; todos los que los vieren, los conocerán, que son simiente bendita de Jehová.
And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.
Their offspring will be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge them, that they are the offspring which the LORD has blessed.”
Dice el profeta: ¡Dejen que les cuente la felicidad que Dios me ha dado! Me ha cubierto con vestiduras de salvación y me ha puesto un manto de justicia. Soy como novio vestido para celebrar la boda o como una novia enjoyada para el desposorio.
En gran manera me gozaré en Jehová, mi alma se alegrará en mi Dios; porque me vistió de vestidos de salud, rodeóme de manto de justicia, como á novio me atavió, y como á novia compuesta de sus joyas.
I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

El Señor mostrará a las naciones del mundo su justicia; todos lo alabarán. Su justicia será como un árbol con renuevos, o como huerto al comenzar la primavera, lleno de plantas que brotan por doquier.
Porque como la tierra produce su renuevo, y como el huerto hace brotar su simiente, así el Señor Jehová hará brotar justicia y alabanza delante de todas las gentes.
For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
