(63:19) Oh that thou mightest rend the heavens, come down: at thy presence would mountains then melt away.
¡OH si rompieses los cielos, y descendieras, y á tu presencia se escurriesen los montes,
Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,
Oh that you would tear the heavens, that you would come down, that the mountains might quake at your presence—
(64:1) As fire is kindled on brushwood, as water is made to bubble up by fireto make thy name known to thy adversaries, that at thy presence nations might tremble!
Como fuego abrasador de fundiciones, fuego que hace hervir las aguas, para que hicieras notorio tu nombre á tus enemigos, y las gentes temblasen á tu presencia!
As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence!
as when fire kindles the brushwood, and the fire causes the water to boil. Make your name known to your adversaries, that the nations may tremble at your presence!
(64:2)As when thou didst fearful deeds which we had not looked for, thou camest down, while at thy presence mountains melted away;
Cuando, haciendo terriblezas cuales nunca esperábamos, descendiste, fluyeron los montes delante de ti.
When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.
When you did awesome things which we didn’t look for, you came down, and the mountains quaked at your presence.
(64:3) Yea! what from the beginning of the world men had not heard, not perceived by their hearing; no eye also had seen a god beside thee, who could do the like for the one that waiteth for him.
Ni nunca oyeron, ni oídos percibieron, ni ojo ha visto Dios fuera de ti, que hiciese por el que en él espera.
For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen a God besides you, who works for him who waits for him.
(64:4) Thou acceptest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou wast wroth, for we had sinned on them continually; and can we thus be saved?
Saliste al encuentro al que con alegría obraba justicia, á los que se acordaban de ti en tus caminos: he aquí, tú te enojaste porque pecamos; en esos hay perpetuidad, y seremos salvos.
Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.
You meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, those who remember you in your ways. Behold, you were angry, and we sinned. We have been in sin for a long time. Shall we be saved?
(64:5) And we are become like an unclean man all of us, and like a soiled garment, all our righteousness; and we wither like a leaf all of us; and our iniquities, like the wind, will bear us away.
Si bien todos nosotros somos como suciedad, y todas nuestras justicias como trapo de inmundicia; y caímos todos nosotros como la hoja, y nuestras maldades nos llevaron como viento.
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
For we have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteousness is like a polluted garment. We all fade like a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.
(64:6) And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth himself up to lay hold of thee; for thou hast hidden thy face from us, and hast let us melt away, through the force of our iniquities.
Y nadie hay que invoque tu nombre, que se despierte para tenerte; por lo cual escondiste de nosotros tu rostro, y nos dejaste marchitar en poder de nuestras maldades.
And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.
There is no one who calls on your name, who stirs himself up to take hold of you; for you have hidden your face from us, and have consumed us by means of our iniquities.
(64:7) But now, O Lord, our father art thou; we are the clay, and thou our fashioner; and the work of thy hand are we all.
Ahora pues, Jehová, tú eres nuestro padre; nosotros lodo, y tú el que nos formaste; así que obra de tus manos, todos nosotros.
But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
But now, LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay and you our potter. We all are the work of your hand.
(64:8) Be not wroth, O Lord, so very greatly, and do not for ever remember our iniquity: behold, look, we beseech thee, thy people are we all.
No te aires, oh Jehová, sobremanera, ni tengas perpetua memoria de la iniquidad: he aquí mira ahora, pueblo tuyo somos todos nosotros.
Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people.
Don’t be furious, LORD. Don’t remember iniquity forever. Look and see, we beg you, we are all your people.
(64:9) Thy holy cities are become a wilderness, Zion is become a wilderness, Jerusalem, a desolate place.
Tus santas ciudades están desiertas, Sión es un desierto, Jerusalem una soledad.
Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.
Your holy cities have become a wilderness. Zion has become a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.
(64:10) Our holy and beautiful house where our fathers praised thee, is burnt up with fire; and all our costly things are become ruins.
La casa de nuestro santuario y de nuestra gloria, en la cual te alabaron nuestros padres, fué consumida al fuego; y todas nuestras cosas preciosas han sido destruídas.
Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.
Our holy and our beautiful house where our fathers praised you is burned with fire. All our pleasant places are laid waste.
(64:11) Wilt thou for these things refrain thyself, O Lord? wilt thou be silent, and afflict us so very greatly?
¿Te estarás quieto, oh Jehová, sobre estas cosas? ¿callarás, y nos afligirás sobremanera?
Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?
Will you hold yourself back for these things, LORD? Will you keep silent and punish us very severely?
