¡OH si rompieses los cielos, y descendieras, y á tu presencia se escurriesen los montes,
Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,

(064-1b) um deinen Namen deinen Feinden kundzutun, daß die Heiden vor dir erzittern müßten;
Como fuego abrasador de fundiciones, fuego que hace hervir las aguas, para que hicieras notorio tu nombre á tus enemigos, y las gentes temblasen á tu presencia!
As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence!

(064-2) indem du furchtbar eingriffest, unerwartet herabführest, daß vor deinem Angesicht die Berge zerschmölzen!
Cuando, haciendo terriblezas cuales nunca esperábamos, descendiste, fluyeron los montes delante de ti.
When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.
When you did awesome things which we didn’t look for, you came down, and the mountains quaked at your presence.
(064-3) Denn von Ewigkeit her hat man nie gehört, nie vernommen, hat kein Auge es gesehen, daß ein Gott tätig war für die, welche auf ihn warten, außer dir allein!
Ni nunca oyeron, ni oídos percibieron, ni ojo ha visto Dios fuera de ti, que hiciese por el que en él espera.
For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen a God besides you, who works for him who waits for him.
(064-4) Als du denen entgegenkamst, die sich an der Gerechtigkeit freuten und sie übten, gedachten sie an dich auf deinen Wegen. Siehe, du wurdest zornig, und wir sündigten; sollen wir ewig darin bleiben, oder kann uns geholfen werden?
Saliste al encuentro al que con alegría obraba justicia, á los que se acordaban de ti en tus caminos: he aquí, tú te enojaste porque pecamos; en esos hay perpetuidad, y seremos salvos.
Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.
You meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, those who remember you in your ways. Behold, you were angry, and we sinned. We have been in sin for a long time. Shall we be saved?
(064-5) Wir sind allesamt geworden wie Unreine und alle unsere Tugenden wie ein beflecktes Kleid. Wir sind alle verwelkt wie die Blätter, und unsere Sünden führen uns dahin wie der Wind.
Si bien todos nosotros somos como suciedad, y todas nuestras justicias como trapo de inmundicia; y caímos todos nosotros como la hoja, y nuestras maldades nos llevaron como viento.
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
For we have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteousness is like a polluted garment. We all fade like a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.
(064-6) Niemand ruft deinen Namen an oder macht sich auf, dich zu ergreifen; denn du hast dein Angesicht verborgen und uns dahingegeben in die Gewalt unserer Missetaten!
Y nadie hay que invoque tu nombre, que se despierte para tenerte; por lo cual escondiste de nosotros tu rostro, y nos dejaste marchitar en poder de nuestras maldades.
And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.
There is no one who calls on your name, who stirs himself up to take hold of you; for you have hidden your face from us, and have consumed us by means of our iniquities.
(064-7) Nun aber bist du, HERR, unser Vater; wir sind der Ton, und du bist unser Töpfer, wir sind allzumal deiner Hände Werk.
Ahora pues, Jehová, tú eres nuestro padre; nosotros lodo, y tú el que nos formaste; así que obra de tus manos, todos nosotros.
But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
But now, LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay and you our potter. We all are the work of your hand.
(064-8) Zürne nicht allzusehr, o HERR, und gedenke nicht ewiglich der Sünden! Ziehe doch das in Betracht, daß wir alle dein Volk sind!
No te aires, oh Jehová, sobremanera, ni tengas perpetua memoria de la iniquidad: he aquí mira ahora, pueblo tuyo somos todos nosotros.
Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people.
Don’t be furious, LORD. Don’t remember iniquity forever. Look and see, we beg you, we are all your people.
(064-9) Deine heiligen Städte sind zur Wüste geworden; Zion ist verwüstet, Jerusalem zerstört!
Tus santas ciudades están desiertas, Sión es un desierto, Jerusalem una soledad.
Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.
Your holy cities have become a wilderness. Zion has become a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.
(064-10) Unser heiliges und herrliches Haus, darin unsre Väter dich gelobt haben, ist in Flammen aufgegangen, und alles, was uns teuer war, ist verwüstet!
La casa de nuestro santuario y de nuestra gloria, en la cual te alabaron nuestros padres, fué consumida al fuego; y todas nuestras cosas preciosas han sido destruídas.
Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.

(064-11) Willst du, HERR, trotz alledem dich zurückhalten, schweigen und uns ganz und gar beugen?
¿Te estarás quieto, oh Jehová, sobre estas cosas? ¿callarás, y nos afligirás sobremanera?
Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?
Will you hold yourself back for these things, LORD? Will you keep silent and punish us very severely?
