16Para que el que pide una bendición haga uso del nombre del verdadero Dios, y el que hace un juramento, lo haga el verdadero Dios; porque los problemas pasados se han olvidado, y porque están ocultas a mis ojos.

16El que se bendijere en la tierra, en el Dios de verdad se bendecirá; y el que jurare en la tierra, por el Dios de verdad jurará; porque las angustias primeras serán olvidadas, y serán cubiertas de mis ojos.

16That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.

16so that he who blesses himself in the earth will bless himself in the God of truth; and he who swears in the earth will swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from my eyes.
