1Ich bin gesucht worden von denen, die nicht nach mir fragten; ich bin gefunden worden von denen, die mich nicht suchten. Ich sprach: Hier bin, ich, hier bin ich! Zu einer Nation, die nicht mit meinem Namen genannt war.
2Ich habe den ganzen Tag meine Hände ausgebreitet zu einem widerspenstigen Volke, welches seinen eigenen Gedanken nach auf dem Wege wandelt, der nicht gut ist.
3Das Volk, das mich beständig ins Angesicht reizt, in den Gärten opfert und auf Ziegelsteinen räuchert;
4welches in den Gräbern sitzt und in verborgenen Orten übernachtet; welches Schweinefleisch ißt und Greuelbrühe in seinen Gefäßen hat;
5das da spricht: Bleibe für dich und nahe mir nicht, denn ich bin dir heilig: Diese sind ein Rauch in meiner Nase, ein Feuer, das den ganzen Tag brennt.
6Siehe, das ist vor mir aufgeschrieben. Ich werde nicht schweigen, ich habe denn vergolten;
7und in ihren Busen werde ich vergelten eure Missetaten und die Missetaten eurer Väter miteinander, spricht Jehova, die auf den Bergen geräuchert und mich auf den Hügeln verhöhnt haben; und ich werde zuvor ihren Lohn in ihren Busen messen.
8So spricht Jehova: Wie wenn sich Most in der Traube findet, und man spricht: Verdirb sie nicht, denn ein Segen ist in ihr; so werde ich tun um meiner Knechte willen, daß ich nicht das Ganze verderbe.
9Und ich werde aus Jakob einen Samen hervorgehen lassen, und aus Juda einen Besitzer meiner Berge; und meine Auserwählten sollen es besitzen, und meine Knechte sollen daselbst wohnen.
10Und Saron wird zu einer Trift der Schafe, und das Tal Achor zu einem Lagerplatz der Rinder werden, für mein Volk, das mich gesucht hat.
11Ihr aber, die ihr Jehova verlasset, die ihr meines heiligen Berges vergesset, die ihr dem Gad einen Tisch zurichtet und der Meni Mischtrank einschenket:
12Ich habe euch dem Schwerte bestimmt, und ihr alle werdet zur Schlachtung niedersinken; weil ich gerufen, und ihr nicht geantwortet habt, geredet, und ihr nicht gehört habt, sondern getan, was böse ist in meinen Augen, und das erwählet, woran ich kein Gefallen habe.
13Darum spricht der Herr, Jehova, also: Siehe, meine Knechte werden essen, ihr aber werdet hungern; siehe, meine Knechte werden trinken, ihr aber werdet dürsten. Siehe, meine Knechte werden sich freuen, ihr aber werdet beschämt sein;
14siehe, meine Knechte werden jubeln vor Freude des Herzens, ihr aber werdet schreien vor Herzeleid und heulen vor Kummer des Geistes.
15Und ihr werdet euren Namen meinen Auserwählten zum Fluchwort hinterlassen; und der Herr, Jehova, wird dich töten. Seine Knechte aber wird er mit einem anderen Namen nennen:
16So daß, wer sich im Lande segnet, sich bei dem Gott der Treue segnen wird, und wer im Lande schwört, bei dem Gott der Treue schwören wird; denn die früheren Drangsale werden vergessen und vor meinen Augen verborgen sein.
17Denn siehe, ich schaffe einen neuen Himmel und eine neue Erde; und der früheren wird man nicht mehr gedenken, und sie werden nicht mehr in den Sinn kommen.
18Sondern freuet euch und frohlocket für und für über das, was ich schaffe. Denn siehe, ich wandle Jerusalem in Frohlocken um und sein Volk in Freude.
19Und ich werde über Jerusalem frohlocken und über mein Volk mich freuen; und die Stimme des Weinens und die Stimme des Wehgeschreis wird nicht mehr darin gehört werden.
20Und dort wird kein Säugling von einigen Tagen und kein Greis mehr sein, der seine Tage nicht erfüllte; denn der Jüngling wird als Hundertjähriger sterben, und der Sünder als Hundertjähriger verflucht werden.
21Und sie werden Häuser bauen und bewohnen, und Weinberge pflanzen und ihre Frucht essen.
22Sie werden nicht bauen und ein anderer es bewohnen, sie werden nicht pflanzen und ein anderer essen; denn gleich den Tagen der Bäume sollen die Tage meines Volkes sein, und meine Auserwählten werden das Werk ihrer Hände verbrauchen.
23Nicht vergeblich werden sie sich mühen, und nicht zum jähen Untergang werden sie zeugen; denn sie sind der Same der Gesegneten Jehovas, und ihre Sprößlinge werden bei ihnen sein.
24Und es wird geschehen: Ehe sie rufen, werde ich antworten; während sie noch reden, werde ich hören.
25Wolf und Lamm werden beisammen weiden; und der Löwe wird Stroh fressen wie das Rind; und die Schlange: Staub wird ihre Speise sein. Man wird nicht übeltun noch verderbt handeln auf meinem ganzen heiligen Gebirge, spricht Jehova.

1FUÍ buscado de los que no preguntaban por mi; fuí hallado de los que no me buscaban. Dije á gente que no invocaba mi nombre: Heme aquí, heme aquí.
2Extendí mis manos todo el día á pueblo rebelde, el cual anda por camino no bueno, en pos de sus pensamientos;
3Pueblo que en mi cara me provoca de continuo á ira, sacrificando en huertos, y ofreciendo perfume sobre ladrillos;
4Que se quedan en los sepulcros, y en los desiertos tienen la noche; que comen carne de puerco, y en sus ollas hay caldo de cosas inmundas;
5Que dicen: Estáte en tu lugar, no te llegues á mí, que soy más santo que tú: éstos son humo en mi furor, fuego que arde todo el día.
6He aquí que escrito está delante de mí; no callaré, antes retornaré, y daré el pago en su seno,
7Por vuestras iniquidades, y las iniquidades de vuestros padres juntamente, dice Jehová, los cuales hicieron perfume sobre los montes, y sobre los collados me afrentaron: por tanto yo les mediré su obra antigua en su seno.
8Así ha dicho Jehová: Como si alguno hallase mosto en un racimo, y dijese: No lo desperdicies, que bendición hay en él; así haré yo por mis siervos, que no lo destruiré todo.
9Mas sacaré simiente de Jacob, y de Judá heredero de mis montes; y mis escogidos poseerán por heredad la tierra, y mis siervos habitarán allí.
10Y será Sarón para habitación de ovejas, y el valle de Achôr para majada de vacas, á mi pueblo que me buscó.
11Empero vosotros los que dejáis á Jehová, que olvidáis el monte de mi santidad, que ponéis mesa para la Fortuna, y suministráis libaciones para el Destino;
12Yo también os destinaré al cuchillo, y todos vosotros os arrodillaréis al degolladero: por cuanto llamé, y no respondisteis; hablé, y no oisteis; sino que hicisteis lo malo delante de mis ojos, y escogisteis lo que á mí desagrada.
13Por tanto así dijo el Señor Jehová: He aquí que mis siervos comerán, y vosotros tendréis hambre; he aquí que mis siervos beberán, y vosotros tendréis sed; he aquí que mis siervos se alegrarán, y vosotros seréis avergonzados;
14He aquí que mis siervos cantarán por júbilo del corazón, y vosotros clamaréis por el dolor del corazón, y por el quebrantamiento de espíritu aullaréis.
15Y dejaréis vuestro nombre por maldición á mis escogidos, y el Señor Jehová te matará; y á sus siervos llamará por otro nombre.
16El que se bendijere en la tierra, en el Dios de verdad se bendecirá; y el que jurare en la tierra, por el Dios de verdad jurará; porque las angustias primeras serán olvidadas, y serán cubiertas de mis ojos.
17Porque he aquí que yo crío nuevos cielos y nueva tierra: y de lo primero no habrá memoria, ni más vendrá al pensamiento.
18Mas os gozaréis y os alegraréis por siglo de siglo en las cosas que yo crío: porque he aquí que yo crío á Jerusalem alegría, y á su pueblo gozo.
19Y alegraréme con Jerusalem, y gozaréme con mi pueblo; y nunca más se oirán en ella voz de lloro, ni voz de clamor.
20No habrá más allí niño de días, ni viejo que sus días no cumpla: porque el niño morirá de cien años, y el pecador de cien años, será maldito.
21Y edificarán casas, y morarán en ellas; plantarán viñas, y comerán el fruto de ellas.
22No edificarán, y otro morará; no plantarán, y otro comerá: porque según los días de los árboles serán los días de mi pueblo, y mis escogidos perpetuarán las obras de sus manos.
23No trabajarán en vano, ni parirán para maldición; porque son simiente de los benditos de Jehová, y sus descendientes con ellos.
24Y será que antes que clamen, responderé yo; aun estando ellos hablando, yo habré oído.
25El lobo y el cordero serán apacentados juntos, y el león comerá paja como el buey; y á la serpiente el polvo será su comida. No afligirán, ni harán mal en todo mi santo monte, dijo Jehová.

1I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.
2I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;
3A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;
4Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
5Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.
6Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,
7Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
8Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants’ sakes, that I may not destroy them all.
9And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
10And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.
11But ye are they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number.
12Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.
13Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:
14Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.
15And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:
16That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
17For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
21And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
22They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
24And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
25The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
World English Bible
1“I am inquired of by those who didn’t ask. I am found by those who didn’t seek me. I said, ‘See me, see me,’ to a nation that was not called by my name.
2I have spread out my hands all day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts;
3a people who provoke me to my face continually, sacrificing in gardens, and burning incense on bricks;
4who sit among the graves, and spend nights in secret places; who eat pig’s meat, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
5who say, ‘Stay by yourself, don’t come near to me, for I am holier than you.’ These are smoke in my nose, a fire that burns all day.
6“Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will repay, yes, I will repay into their bosom
7your own iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers together”, says the LORD, “who have burned incense on the mountains, and blasphemed me on the hills. Therefore I will first measure their work into their bosom.”
8The LORD says, “As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, ‘Don’t destroy it, for a blessing is in it:’ so I will do for my servants’ sake, that I may not destroy them all.
9I will bring offspring out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains. My chosen will inherit it, and my servants will dwell there.
10Sharon will be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down in, for my people who have sought me.

13Therefore the Lord GOD says, “Behold, my servants will eat, but you will be hungry; behold, my servants will drink, but you will be thirsty. Behold, my servants will rejoice, but you will be disappointed.
14Behold, my servants will sing for joy of heart, but you will cry for sorrow of heart, and will wail for anguish of spirit.
15You will leave your name for a curse to my chosen, and the Lord GOD will kill you. He will call his servants by another name,
16so that he who blesses himself in the earth will bless himself in the God of truth; and he who swears in the earth will swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from my eyes.
