J’ai tendu mes mains tous les jours vers un peuple rebelle, Qui marche dans une voie mauvaise, Au gré de ses pensées;
Extendí mis manos todo el día á pueblo rebelde, el cual anda por camino no bueno, en pos de sus pensamientos;

Vers un peuple qui ne cesse de m’irriter en face, Sacrifiant dans les jardins, Et brûlant de l’encens sur les briques:
Pueblo que en mi cara me provoca de continuo á ira, sacrificando en huertos, y ofreciendo perfume sobre ladrillos;
A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;

Qui fait des sépulcres sa demeure, Et passe la nuit dans les cavernes, Mangeant de la chair de porc, Et ayant dans ses vases des mets impurs;
Que se quedan en los sepulcros, y en los desiertos tienen la noche; que comen carne de puerco, y en sus ollas hay caldo de cosas inmundas;
Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;

Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.

He aquí que escrito está delante de mí; no callaré, antes retornaré, y daré el pago en su seno,

But ye are they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number.

Je vous destine au glaive, Et vous fléchirez tous le genou pour être égorgés; Car j’ai appelé, et vous n’avez point répondu, J’ai parlé, et vous n’avez point écouté; Mais vous avez fait ce qui est mal à mes yeux, Et vous avez choisi ce qui me déplaît.

C’est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel: Voici, mes serviteurs mangeront, et vous aurez faim; Voici, mes serviteurs boiront, et vous aurez soif; Voici, mes serviteurs se réjouiront, et vous serez confondus;

Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.

Vous laisserez votre nom en imprécation à mes élus; Le Seigneur, l’Éternel, vous fera mourir, Et il donnera à ses serviteurs un autre nom.
Y dejaréis vuestro nombre por maldición á mis escogidos, y el Señor Jehová te matará; y á sus siervos llamará por otro nombre.
And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:

That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.

Car je vais créer de nouveaux cieux Et une nouvelle terre; On ne se rappellera plus les choses passées, Elles ne reviendront plus à l’esprit.

No edificarán, y otro morará; no plantarán, y otro comerá: porque según los días de los árboles serán los días de mi pueblo, y mis escogidos perpetuarán las obras de sus manos.
They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

Ils ne travailleront pas en vain, Et ils n’auront pas des enfants pour les voir périr; Car ils formeront une race bénie de l’Éternel, Et leurs enfants seront avec eux.
No trabajarán en vano, ni parirán para maldición; porque son simiente de los benditos de Jehová, y sus descendientes con ellos.
They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.

El lobo y el cordero serán apacentados juntos, y el león comerá paja como el buey; y á la serpiente el polvo será su comida. No afligirán, ni harán mal en todo mi santo monte, dijo Jehová.
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
