Han venido a buscarme aquellos que antes no preguntaban por mí, me han hallado aquellos que no me buscaron. Yo he dicho a una nación que no invocaba mi Nombre: Aquí estoy, heme aquí.
FUÍ buscado de los que no preguntaban por mi; fuí hallado de los que no me buscaban. Dije á gente que no invocaba mi nombre: Heme aquí, heme aquí.
I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.

Extendí todo el día mis brazos hacia un pueblo incrédulo y rebelde que no anda por el buen camino, sino en pos de sus antojos.
Extendí mis manos todo el día á pueblo rebelde, el cual anda por camino no bueno, en pos de sus pensamientos;
I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;

Pueblo que cara a cara me está provocando continuamente a enojo; hombres que inmolan víctimas en los huertos, y ofrecen sacrificios sobre altares fabricados en ladrillos;

A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;

que se meten en los sepulcros, que duermen en los templos de los ídolos o falsos oráculos; que comen la carne del cerdo, y echan en sus tazas un caldo profano o prohibido;

Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;

que dicen a otros: Apártáte de mí, no me toques, porque tú eres inmundo. Todos estos se convertirán en humareda el día de mi furor, en fuego que arderá siempre.
Que dicen: Estáte en tu lugar, no te llegues á mí, que soy más santo que tú: éstos son humo en mi furor, fuego que arde todo el día.
Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.

Sabed que lo dicho lo tengo escrito delante de mí. Por lo que no callaré, dice el Señor, sino que les retornaré el cambio, y les pondré en su seno la paga;

la paga o castigo de sus iniquidades y de las iniquidades de sus padres; los cuales ofrecieron sacrificios sobre los montes, y me deshonraron sobre los collados. Yo derramaré en el seno de los hijos la paga debida a las antiguas obras de los padres.
Por vuestras iniquidades, y las iniquidades de vuestros padres juntamente, dice Jehová, los cuales hicieron perfume sobre los montes, y sobre los collados me afrentaron: por tanto yo les mediré su obra antigua en su seno.
Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.

Sin embargo, esto dice el Señor: Como cuando se halla un grano bueno en un racimo podrido, y se dice: No lo desperdicies, pues es una bendición o don de Dios, eso mismo haré yo por amor de mis siervos: No exterminaré a Israel del todo;
Así ha dicho Jehová: Como si alguno hallase mosto en un racimo, y dijese: No lo desperdicies, que bendición hay en él; así haré yo por mis siervos, que no lo destruiré todo.

antes bien entresacaré de Jacob un linaje, y de Judá quien domine sobre mis montes. Y esta tierra de Sión será la herencia de mis escogidos, y en ella habitarán mis fieles siervos;

y las campiñas serán rediles de rebaños, y en el fértil valle de Acor se albergarán los ganados mayores de mi pueblo, de aquellos que han ido en pos de mí.

Pero a vosotros que abandonasteis al Señor, que os olvidasteis de Sión, mi santo monte, que aparejasteis una mesa o altar al ídolo de la Fortuna, y derramáis sobre ella libaciones,

yo os iré entregando uno a uno al filo de mi espada, y todos pereceréis en esta mortandad; puesto que yo os llamé y no os respondisteis, os hablé y no hicisteis caso; antes bien cometíais la maldad delante de mis ojos, y habéis escogido las cosas que yo aborrecía.

Por tanto, esto dice el Señor Dios: Sabed que mis siervos comerán, y vosotros padeceréis hambre; mis siervos beberán, y vosotros padeceréis sed;

mis siervos se regocijarán, y vosotros estaréis avergonzados: y sabed, en fin, que mis siervos, a impulsos del júbilo de su corazón, entonarán himnos de alabanza, y vosotros, por el dolor de vuestro corazón, alzaréis el grito, y os hará dar aullidos la aflicción del ánimo.
He aquí que mis siervos cantarán por júbilo del corazón, y vosotros clamaréis por el dolor del corazón, y por el quebrantamiento de espíritu aullaréis.

Y dejaréis cubierto de execración vuestro nombre a mis escogidos. El Señor Dios acabará contigo, ¡oh Israel!, y a sus siervos los llamará con otro nombre.

En el cual nombre quien fuere bendito sobre la tierra, bendito será del Dios verdadero; y el que jurare sobre la tierra, por este nombre del Dios verdadero jurará; porque las precedentes angustias o tribulaciones se han echado en olvido, y desaparecieron de mis ojos.
El que se bendijere en la tierra, en el Dios de verdad se bendecirá; y el que jurare en la tierra, por el Dios de verdad jurará; porque las angustias primeras serán olvidadas, y serán cubiertas de mis ojos.
That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.

No se verá más allí un niño que viva pocos días, ni anciano que no cumpla el tiempo de su vida; pues el que morirá más niño, tendrá cien años, y el pecador o el que no viva cien años, será reputado como maldito.

No se fatigarán en vano mis escogidos, ni tendrán hijos que los conturben; porque estirpe de benditos del Señor son, así ellos como sus nietos.

Y antes que clamen, yo los oiré: Cuando estén aún con la palabra en la boca otorgaré su petición.
