Me dejé consultar por gente que ni siquiera me hacía preguntas; me dejé encontrar por gente que ni siquiera me buscaba. A una nación que ni siquiera me reclamaba, le dije: ¡Aquí estoy, aquí estoy!.
FUÍ buscado de los que no preguntaban por mi; fuí hallado de los que no me buscaban. Dije á gente que no invocaba mi nombre: Heme aquí, heme aquí.
I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.

Extendí mis manos todo el día, suplicando a un pueblo obstinado que sigue malos caminos, haciendo lo que quiere.

Este pueblo siempre me hace enojar, porque presenta sacrificios a los ídolos en sus jardines sagrados y ofrece incienso en altares paganos hechos de ladrillo.
Pueblo que en mi cara me provoca de continuo á ira, sacrificando en huertos, y ofreciendo perfume sobre ladrillos;
A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;

Pasan la noche entre las tumbas y en las cuevas, comiendo cerdo y cocinando otras carnes impuras.
Que se quedan en los sepulcros, y en los desiertos tienen la noche; que comen carne de puerco, y en sus ollas hay caldo de cosas inmundas;
Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;

Dicen a los demás: ¡Mantengan la distancia! No te acerques a mí, pues soy demasiado santo para que me toques. ¡Esta gente es como el humo en mis narices, un hedor que arde todo el día!
Que dicen: Estáte en tu lugar, no te llegues á mí, que soy más santo que tú: éstos son humo en mi furor, fuego que arde todo el día.
Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.

¡Mira, todo está escrito delante de mí! No me voy a callar. Voy a pagarles arrojando su castigo en su regazo.

Voy a pagarles por sus propios pecados y por los de sus antepasados, dice el Señor, porque quemaron incienso en los montes y me ridiculizaron en las colinas. Voy a medir en sus regazos el pago completo por lo que han hecho.
Por vuestras iniquidades, y las iniquidades de vuestros padres juntamente, dice Jehová, los cuales hicieron perfume sobre los montes, y sobre los collados me afrentaron: por tanto yo les mediré su obra antigua en su seno.

Esto es lo que dice el Señor: Es como cuando queda un poco de jugo en un racimo de uvas y la gente dice: No te deshagas de todo; todavía hay algo bueno en él, yo haré lo mismo con mis siervos: no los destruiré a todos.
Así ha dicho Jehová: Como si alguno hallase mosto en un racimo, y dijese: No lo desperdicies, que bendición hay en él; así haré yo por mis siervos, que no lo destruiré todo.
Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants’ sakes, that I may not destroy them all.

Me aseguraré de que Jacob tenga descendientes, y gente de Judá que pueda apropiarse de mi montaña. Mis elegidos, mis siervos, serán dueños de la tierra y vivirán allí.

Pero los que abandonan al Señor y se olvidan de mi monte santo, los que preparan fiestas para el dios de la buena suerte, los que llenan jarras de vino mezclado para el dios del destino,
Empero vosotros los que dejáis á Jehová, que olvidáis el monte de mi santidad, que ponéis mesa para la Fortuna, y suministráis libaciones para el Destino;
But ye are they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number.

Me aseguraré de que tu destino sea ser asesinado por la espada. Todos ustedes se inclinarán para ser masacrados, porque los llamé, pero no respondieron; les hablé, pero no escucharon. En lugar de eso, hicieron lo que es malo a mis ojos, eligiendo hacer lo que yo odio.
Yo también os destinaré al cuchillo, y todos vosotros os arrodillaréis al degolladero: por cuanto llamé, y no respondisteis; hablé, y no oisteis; sino que hicisteis lo malo delante de mis ojos, y escogisteis lo que á mí desagrada.
Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.

Así que esto es lo que dice el Señor: Mis siervos comerán, pero ustedes tendrán hambre. Mis siervos beberán, pero ustedes tendrán sed. Mis siervos festejarán, pero ustedes se avergonzarán.
Por tanto así dijo el Señor Jehová: He aquí que mis siervos comerán, y vosotros tendréis hambre; he aquí que mis siervos beberán, y vosotros tendréis sed; he aquí que mis siervos se alegrarán, y vosotros seréis avergonzados;
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:
Therefore the Lord GOD says, “Behold, my servants will eat, but you will be hungry; behold, my servants will drink, but you will be thirsty. Behold, my servants will rejoice, but you will be disappointed.
¡Escuchen! Mis siervos gritarán porque están muy contentos por dentro, pero tú gritarás con el más profundo dolor, aullando porque tu espíritu está roto.
He aquí que mis siervos cantarán por júbilo del corazón, y vosotros clamaréis por el dolor del corazón, y por el quebrantamiento de espíritu aullaréis.
Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.

Tu nombre sólo será usado como una maldición por mis elegidos, porque el Señor Dios te matará y dará a sus siervos otro nombre.
Y dejaréis vuestro nombre por maldición á mis escogidos, y el Señor Jehová te matará; y á sus siervos llamará por otro nombre.
And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:

Quien pida una bendición o haga un juramento en la tierra, lo hará por el único Dios verdadero, porque he olvidado los problemas del pasado: ya no los miro.
El que se bendijere en la tierra, en el Dios de verdad se bendecirá; y el que jurare en la tierra, por el Dios de verdad jurará; porque las angustias primeras serán olvidadas, y serán cubiertas de mis ojos.
That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.

¡Mira! Voy a crear cielos nuevos y una tierra nueva. No se recordarán las cosas pasadas; no se le pasarán a nadie por la cabeza.
Porque he aquí que yo crío nuevos cielos y nueva tierra: y de lo primero no habrá memoria, ni más vendrá al pensamiento.

Alégrense y sean felices por siempre y para siempre en lo que voy a crear, porque haré de Jerusalén un lugar encantador, y de su gente una verdadera alegría.

Ningún bebé morirá a los pocos días, y ningún adulto morirá sin haber vivido una larga vida. Los que lleguen a los cien años serán considerados como simples niños, y los que no lleguen a los cien serán vistos como si estuvieran bajo una maldición.
No habrá más allí niño de días, ni viejo que sus días no cumpla: porque el niño morirá de cien años, y el pecador de cien años, será maldito.
There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

Construirán casas y vivirán en ellas; comerán el fruto de las viñas que ellos mismos plantaron.

Ya no construirán casas para que otros vivan en ellas; ya no plantarán para que otros coman. Porque mi pueblo vivirá tanto como los árboles; mis elegidos vivirán lo suficiente para disfrutar de todo lo que han trabajado.
No edificarán, y otro morará; no plantarán, y otro comerá: porque según los días de los árboles serán los días de mi pueblo, y mis escogidos perpetuarán las obras de sus manos.
They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

No trabajarán para nada, y no tendrán hijos destinados al desastre. Porque son personas que viven bajo la bendición del Señor, y sus hijos también lo serán.

They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.

Yo responderé incluso antes de que me pregunten. Mientras aún están hablando, les responderé.

El lobo y el cordero comerán juntos. El león comerá paja como el buey. Las serpientes comerán polvo. Nada causará daño ni perjuicio en ninguna parte de mi santo monte, porque la tierra estará llena del conocimiento del Señor, así como el agua llena el mar.
El lobo y el cordero serán apacentados juntos, y el león comerá paja como el buey; y á la serpiente el polvo será su comida. No afligirán, ni harán mal en todo mi santo monte, dijo Jehová.
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
