Vuelve insensible el corazón de este pueblo, embota sus oídos y cierra sus ojos; no sea que vean con sus ojos, oigan con sus oídos, entiendan con el corazón, se arrepientan y sean sanados”.
Engruesa el corazón de aqueste pueblo, y agrava sus oídos, y ciega sus ojos; porque no vea con sus ojos, ni oiga con sus oídos, ni su corazón entienda, ni se convierta, y haya para él sanidad.

Then I said, “Lord, how long?” He answered, “Until cities are waste without inhabitant, houses without man, the land becomes utterly waste,
hasta que Yahvé haya expulsado lejos a la gente, y el abandono sea total en medio de la tierra.
Hasta que Jehová hubiere echado lejos los hombres, y multiplicare en medio de la tierra la desamparada.
And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.

Y aunque quede en ella una décima parte, volverá a ser destruida; pero como el terebinto y el roble, que al ser cortados dejan un tronco, así el tronco será la semilla santa”.

But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.
If there is a tenth left in it, that also will in turn be consumed, as a terebinth, and as an oak whose stump remains when they are cut down, so the holy seed is its stump.”
