¡Qué tremendo canto! Hizo temblar el templo hasta sus cimientos, y súbitamente todo el santuario se llenó de humo.
Y los quiciales de las puertas se estremecieron con la voz del que clamaba, y la casa se hinchió de humo.
And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

Entonces dije: «¡Esta es mi muerte! Porque soy un pecador de boca impura, miembro de una raza pecadora, de inmunda boca, y sin embargo he mirado al Rey, al Señor Todopoderoso».
Entonces dije: ¡Ay de mí! que soy muerto; que siendo hombre inmundo de labios, y habitando en medio de pueblo que tiene labios inmundos, han visto mis ojos al Rey, Jehová de los ejércitos.
Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

Entonces uno de los serafines voló hacia el altar y con unas tenazas sacó una brasa.

And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

―¿A quién enviaré por mensajero a mi pueblo? ¿Quién irá? —oí al Señor preguntar. Y yo dije: ―Señor ¡yo voy! Envíame a mí.
Después oí la voz del Señor, que decía: ¿A quién enviaré, y quién nos irá? Entonces respondí yo: Heme aquí, envíame á mí.
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Él dijo: ―¡Ve! Pero dile esto a mi pueblo: “Aunque una y otra vez oyen mis palabras, no quieren entenderlas. Por más que me ven hacer milagros repetidas veces, no quieren entender su significado”.
Y dijo: Anda, y di á este pueblo: Oid bien, y no entendáis; ved por cierto, mas no comprendáis.
And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
He said, “Go, and tell this people, ‘You hear indeed, but don’t understand. You see indeed, but don’t perceive.’
Quítales la inteligencia, tápales los oídos y ciérrales los ojos. No quiero que vean, oigan ni entiendan, ni que se vuelvan a mí para que los sane.
Engruesa el corazón de aqueste pueblo, y agrava sus oídos, y ciega sus ojos; porque no vea con sus ojos, ni oiga con sus oídos, ni su corazón entienda, ni se convierta, y haya para él sanidad.
Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

y todos sean llevados como esclavos a países lejanos, y toda la tierra de Israel quede desierta.
Hasta que Jehová hubiere echado lejos los hombres, y multiplicare en medio de la tierra la desamparada.

If there is a tenth left in it, that also will in turn be consumed, as a terebinth, and as an oak whose stump remains when they are cut down, so the holy seed is its stump.”
