Então eu disse: “Chegou a minha hora! Vou morrer porque sou um pecador. Sou um homem com lábios impuros e moro no meio de um povo de lábios impuros. E agora eu vi o Rei, o Senhor Todo-poderoso”.
Entonces dije: ¡Ay de mí! que soy muerto; que siendo hombre inmundo de labios, y habitando en medio de pueblo que tiene labios inmundos, han visto mis ojos al Rey, Jehová de los ejércitos.
Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

Foi aí que um dos serafins veio voando em minha direção, trazendo uma brasa viva que ele havia tirado do altar com uma tenaz.
Y voló hacia mí uno de los serafines, teniendo en su mano un carbón encendido, tomado del altar con unas tenazas:

And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

Então ouvi a voz do Senhor dizendo: “Quem será o mensageiro que eu vou enviar ao meu povo? Quem irá por nós?” E eu respondi: “Eu irei, Senhor. Envie-me!”
Después oí la voz del Señor, que decía: ¿A quién enviaré, y quién nos irá? Entonces respondí yo: Heme aquí, envíame á mí.
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

Torne insensível o coração deste povo; tampe os ouvidos e feche os olhos deles. Assim, eles não verão com os olhos, não ouvirão com os ouvidos, nem compreenderão com o coração, para que não se voltem para mim e sejam curados”.
Engruesa el corazón de aqueste pueblo, y agrava sus oídos, y ciega sus ojos; porque no vea con sus ojos, ni oiga con sus oídos, ni su corazón entienda, ni se convierta, y haya para él sanidad.

Eu perguntei então: “Senhor, até quando isso vai durar?” E ele respondeu: “Só depois que as cidades forem destruídas e ficarem em ruínas, sem habitantes; até que as casas fiquem abandonadas e os campos completamente arrasados;

até que o Senhor afaste para longe dela os homens, e a terra fique completamente destruída e abandonada!

But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.
If there is a tenth left in it, that also will in turn be consumed, as a terebinth, and as an oak whose stump remains when they are cut down, so the holy seed is its stump.”
